Nikolas eagerly kissed Atlas back, loving the sweetness of it. He'd never get tired of kissing Atlas, he loved it too much. And speaking of love… When the kiss was broken and Atlas was gazing into his eyes, Nikolas smiled and brushed his thumb over his boyfriend's bottom lip. "I love you," he whispered, leaning into one of the man's hands on his face. They could talk about what he was going to do about his album later, right now was the time for each other and laziness. Maybe a few more kisses.
"Ohh I love you too," Atlas whispered back. He pecked Nikolas' thumb, smiling while doing so. He gazed at Nikolas a second longer. He then noticed how much light was actually coming through the curtains, meaning it must be pretty late. "Literally only five minutes, okay. As much as I really want to stay here all day, we have some stuff to do. I need to go to the studio to…" He paused, the events from the day before all coming back, his smile fading. "Uh… I guess I need to um, figure out what to do now…" A sad and worried look replacing his loving one.
Nikolas frowned and swiped his thumb back over those soft lips. "Five minutes," he said slowly, easing them both around just as slowly until Nikolas was now hovering over Atlas, "and then we'll figure everything out over breakfast. But first…" he pressed a slow kiss to the other's jaw, "I have five minutes to say good morning to my amazing boyfriend," his lips dragged over Atlas' skin until he pressed another kiss to just below his ear, "and remind him that he's perfect," another to the side of his neck, "no matter what people say."
Atlas melted against Nikolas' kisses and touch. He was determined to not forget about everything again. He wanted to make sure everything got resolved, no matter how hard or emotional it may turn out to be. But Nikolas… he was making it very difficult to remember. Atlas' arms slid loosely around Nikolas' neck. "I think you're the perfect one here… I'm only making it difficult for the both of us…" He murmured, not meaning for it to turn into a sad statement.
"Mmnm," Nikolas hummed in scolding, kissing the crook of Atlas' neck. "No self-deprecating for at least five minutes." His lips moved to Atlas' throat, slow and lazy but somehow passionate in its own way. His hands leisurely ran up and down the man's sides, sneaking beneath his shirt without lifting it too much. His goal was to make Atlas forget everything, to clear his mind and only focus on the good things for this limited time. The depressing stuff could come later during breakfast. Right now, he wanted to show Atlas that he wasn't as bad as he made himself out to be—while using it as a shameless excuse to touch and kiss his boyfriend.
Atlas opened his mouth to argue, quickly closing it as Nikolas continued. He ended up shivering, loving Nikolas' touch against his bare skin under his shirt. "You make a very compelling argument." He whispered. It was definitely getting difficult to keep himself on track. In his mind, he had procrastinated enough already so he had to get to work and fix everything quickly since he thinks every bit of it was his fault. The moment he remembered everything, he realized he needed to do something about it as soon as possible, and the situation at that moment wasn't included in the required things he had to do before he got to work. But obviously, Nikolas could distract Atlas pretty easily.
Nikolas continued with his actions, peppering kisses all over Atlas' neck, shoulders, face, wherever he could plant his lips and direct Atlas' focus onto him. They were both equally at fault for the complications that had terminated his use of the studio yesterday, and Nikolas wouldn't allow him to think it was all on him when it wasn't. No matter how much Atlas would want to protest and insist it was all his fault, Nikolas would refuse to believe that. All they could do was move forward and figure something else out, something out something better.
Atlas stopped trying to hang on to the problem and he let himself be completely distracted by Nikolas. He loved this man quite a bit and it only took so much willpower to not think about him. He gave in. Atlas stopped Nikolas for a second, only to slowly plant his own lips on the man's lips. His arms tightened around Nikolas' neck a bit more, pulling the man closer.
Nikolas smiled when he found out he won—which was when Atlas stopped him to kiss him. He gave into the man's request to come closer, though he still held himself up so he was hovering over the smaller male. Nikolas' flicked his tongue over Atlas' lips, the metal of his piercing brushing over the soft skin as well. Nothing much, just a simple brush to gauge how Atlas would react to something like that. If they really got into a makeout session, they'd be here longer than five minutes, that was for sure.
It had probably already been more than five minutes, but who was really counting? Definitely not Atlas, that was for sure. He was already glad he let Nikolas win, it had been too much work to try to go against it. The corners of his lips turned up a bit in a small smile. He let his tongue meet Nikolas' where their lips met. He let his tongue slid over Nikolas', feeling the piercing, having forgotten that he even had one.
Pulling back some, Nikolas arched a brow and smirked faintly. "Cheeky cheeky," he cooed, smirk turning into a grin, then dove back in for another kiss. This time, he was no longer slow and lazy, but he wasn't quite on that line of rushed, either. Again, his tongue caressed the seam of Atlas' lips, though this time he was asking for permission. A voice in the back of his mind told him that maybe they shouldn't go too much further, lest he want to blow all plans of going over what Atlas was to do next out the door.
Atlas had smiled as well. He gave Nikolas permission by opening his lips a bit and letting his own tongue out. It curled and slid around Nikolas' tongue. Atlas' eyes fluttered closed, continuing their kiss. One of his hands had already traveled up to Nikolas' head, tangling itself in his hair. While the other was still draped over his neck.
Screw it. Nikolas couldn't keep himself from deepening the kiss when he felt Atlas' tongue curling around his. He sank down some, holding himself up with his elbows instead of his hands, so he was almost flush against the man below him without completely lying on top of him. This… he like this—a lot. He loved kissing Atlas, but having a quiet moment to themselves paired with that, it was pure bliss.
Atlas smiled a little into the kiss as he felt Nikolas lean closer. It was beyond perfect, everything was. This moment, kissing Nikolas and it just the two of them was honestly the best feeling in the world and nothing would even come close to comparing to it. How had Atlas gotten so lucky? They've been living as neighbors for a while, never have any of them interacted with each other before that one night. By sheer luck had Atlas met the love of his life. By sheer luck Nikolas visited him in the studio. And by sheer luck, Atlas ended up in Nikolas' bed in a place only he knew about.
That night, unbeknown to him, had been the luckiest night of his life. He had officially met his neighbor—and a really cute one at that—and that meeting would lead him to this moment right here, kissing Atlas while happily locked in his grip and sharing the same bed as him. It was magical, almost. Nikolas slowly pulled away from the increasingly desperate kiss to gently attack Atlas' throat, tilting his head to have better access. "Mmmm, I don't think I want to sleep alone again," he murmured with a breathy laugh. Yet another reality they had to face after this fantasy.
Atlas let a small whine slip when Nikolas pulled away. He then felt his lips on his throat and didn't complain. He opened his eyes, a small smile growing on his lips. "I don't think I can. I might have an idea though…" He murmured in an equally breathy tone. He shifted his arm and lifted Nikolas head up so Atlas could look at him. "What if you gave your friends your apartment and we lived together in mine… that could fix that problem."
Nikolas smirked at the whine, but he didn't protest when he felt his head getting lifted so that they could look at each other. Slowly licking his lips, he contemplated the idea. It wasn't a bad one, that was for sure. He could stay with Atlas for as long as he wanted, and he didn't have to worry about Kit getting drunk—if Ryker was there, Kit would have to stay sober to keep an eye on him, no matter how much that kid made everyone want to drown themselves in alcohol sometimes. A smile made its way over Nikolas' lips, and he gently took Atlas' bottom lip between his teeth, dragging it out a bit before releasing it. "A wonderful solution, as long as you don't mind possible annoyances and me beating them up if they get too noisy," he said with a grin. He was clearly joking about beating them up, though he would make the threat should it come to that.
Atlas smiled and kissed Nikolas once again. He pulled away a second later, still smiling. "I'm used to annoyances, my neighbors on the other side really seem to enjoy staying up late and… doing whatever they're doing and the people above me I guess like to jump around their apartment instead of walk, what's the difference if there is something on my other side? It'd be worth it if I get to come home to you and see you every day." He explained, half of it probably unnecessary.
Nikolas chuckled and kissed Atlas again, unable to pull away from those addicting lips for very long. He noticed the rambling and unnecessary information, but he didn't complain. He thought it was cute when Atlas rambled, even if it was about something as simple as noisy neighbors. "Sounds perfect, then," he whispered against Atlas' lips. They really should be going, now. Nikolas rolled his eyes with a dramatic groan and forced himself to his hands and knees, pulling away from Atlas. "I'm going to go get a shower and whatnot before I make you my prisoner. Make yourself at home."
Atlas frowned as Nikolas pulled away, groaning very dramatically as well. He, with much effort, lifted himself up off the bed and sat up. He threw his arms around Nikolas in protest of him leaving. "Well, now you're my prisoner. I guess you're just gonna have to stay right here with me, what a shame," he said in a sarcastic but giggly tone.
Nikolas rolled his eyes, though a grin broke through onto his lips as he melted into Atlas' grasp. Damn, this man was far too adorable. He called foul. Nikolas leaned into Atlas to humor him, laughing softly and nuzzling his cheek. "What a shame indeed. Whatever will I do now? I'm trapped and cannot possibly get up." He stuck the tip of his tongue out the corner of his mouth teasingly, eyes creasing with humor.
"Hhhh jeez, I love you so much, it's not fair," Atlas mumbled before planting a kiss to Nikolas' forehead. He knew they had stuff to do and it had been a good 15 minutes, at least, more than he had said. But it was worth it, as always. "And I guess I should really let you go so we can do what we've been needing to do. But before you go, do you have some extra clothes I can borrow?"
"Mmmhmm," Nikolas hummed, seemingly not paying much attention. He had a wicked smirk on his lips, and he used said lips to plant a kiss to Atlas' neck. While he did that, his tongue flicked out, and he made sure to brush his piercing against the cooled skin. With that, Nikolas chuckled and pressed his face right above the man's collarbone, smiling and breathing in his scent. He almost had a lingering scent that reminded Nikolas of his signature vanilla, making him irrationally happy. "There's some in that trunk over there." He lazily pointed towards the trunk of clothes he kept pressed against the wall.
Atlas, once again melted against Nikolas, his tight grip around the man loosening a bit. He honestly really loved Nikolas' piercing and he liked that he was the only other person that could experience it. He lied his head on his boyfriend's shoulder, his face facing Nikolas' neck. His lips lingered on his jaw for a bit before pressing a slow kiss to it. He didn't bother to look where the trunk was, it wouldn't be that hard to find.
He knew he had won that little match when he felt Atlas' grip around him loosening and the man melting into him. "Mmmmm." Nikolas smiled at the kiss to his jaw, even if he knew that he had to pull away before they stalled any longer. "I love you, truly," he murmured, shifting and slowly pulling away from Atlas once again, "but I have to go before midnight rolls around."
