"Not at all. I'm stuck at work." He turned his to face the other, drinking in the sight of him."Are all of your people as attractive as you? Or is it just that you're one helluva attractive guy?"
"Not at all. I'm stuck at work." He turned his to face the other, drinking in the sight of him."Are all of your people as attractive as you? Or is it just that you're one helluva attractive guy?"
Sherry blushed, although it was barely visible on his skin. “Well, it depends who you’re talking to. Are all earthlings the same as you?” He tilted his head, grinning.
Jam winked, shaking his head. "I'm one of a kind! I'm pretty unique to this world." He laughed softly, shaking his head.
"I mean…" Sherry tilted his head from side to side, pretending to consider. "I didn't doubt it." He grinned.
Jamie laughed softly, biting his lip and looking down at his drink. "What brings you to Earth?" He asked after a little bit of silence.
What?
🤔🤔🤔
Well, shoot, that was attractive. "Traveling," He answered, sipping some of his wine. "Farafica, although compelling, gets incredibly boring." He tilted his head.
"You'd be surprised to hear Earth is the same." He smiled softly, ordering another round of his drink. It had been good. "That is, if you never look at the news."
"I suppose the news keeps things lively," Sherry restated, for lack of other things to say. "It's interesting, what staying too long on one planet can do." He looked up at Jamie, noting the time. It was getting late-ish…he needed to leave before the evening guests came in - but he didn't want to leave Jamie.
"It gets so boring. I've never visited nor traveled to another planet. What is it like?" He asked, leaning towards Sherry slightly. "Is it fun?"
"It's fun, actually. Bouncing from planet to planet…very interesting." Sherry nodded with a smile, finishing his wine and putting it on the counter. "If you want to continue this conversation…we probably need to leave. The evening type will be coming in soon." He warned, raising an eyebrow.
Jamie glanced towards the door and sighed, nodding his head. "Yes, lets continue somewhere else. My flat is nearby if you'd prefer a place we could drink some more? There is a liquor store on the corner of my flat's block."
"That sounds good." Sherry easily got off the high stool, looking back to see if Jamie needed help. (cough cough) "My hotel is just down the street, so I don't really have a curfew." He told him, grinning.
The earthling seemed to have a little bit of a harder time getting down off his stool, but managed himself, straightening out his clothing and grinning up at the other, who was indeed taller than himself by just a little bit. "Neither do I, seeing as how we are going to my apartment." He laughed softly, offering his arm to the other. "I shall escort thee if it is thine wish." His playful air was rather child-like, and he enjoyed playing and teasing with the other.
“But of course.” Sherry laughed a little, taking his arm and following his lead out of the bar.
Jamie's heart skipped about five beats when the other took his arm. He glanced at Sherry and bit his lip, wondering if he had made a friend or a potential date. Either way he was overjoyed. As he led them down the street he pointed out a small shop about two blocks ahead. "That's the liquor store."
Aw, Crap. He bit his lip. That’s not fair. Sherry complained to himself, looking up at the store. “I can get some wine or something…then we can go to your flat?”
"Sounds good to me, but let me help you buy some. I want to pitch in." He smiled sweetly, pulling his keys from his pocket as they neared the place.
“Alright, alright.” Sherry grinned, pulling three dollars from his pocket as they neared the stores “I need two more.”
Jamie pulled two dollars from his pocket as well, handing them over to Sherry. "Knock yourself out." He winked, laughing.
Sherry laughed, winking back. "You can bet I will."
He came out a couple minutes later with two bottles of wine that, through the bottle, appeared to be much the same color as his skin. Grinning, he took Jamie's arm again. "So, to your flat we go."
Jamie nodded, looking at the bottles and grinning. He was going to be so hungover tomorrow but this was so worth it. "Yes, just up here!" He called, winking and giggling as he led them both to a large apartment suite. As he unlocked the door a small dog popped in, it's tail wagging faster than it's body could keep up with. "Down boy. This is Kevin, the Whippet." He said with a small laugh. "I didn't name him, my cousin did. They can't keep him so he's living with me."
Sherry grinned wider, reaching down to pet him. "I like him already." He straightened up, peering around the apartment.
The whippet barked and skittered around the main room. It was a rather spacious lobby-like area that led directly into the living room. Comfortable gray sofa's matched the warm gray walls decorated with photographs and paintings. A few were signed by Jamie himself. In the corner sat a beat up looking drum set, the sticks taped and splintered considerably. There were a few other doors and one large entryway that showed off an impressive kitchen. Another door hung open to reveal the bathroom, the mirror revealing a large spa-like tub complete with jets and three shower heads. The remaining two doors were closets filled with blankets. Jamie wasn't rich in anyway. He just had a rich aunt who liked him.
The stairway was located down a hallway next to the kitchen. If one went upstairs they would find two bedrooms and another bathroom, that bathroom had a hot tub on its balcony outside. "Home sweet home."
