Okay! Do you want me to start?
Yes please :)
(Okay!)
The fight was a blur of blades and blood spraying and gore and gunshots and death. Kade spun his blade, decapitating a soldier on the opposite side. He relished the spray of blood that splashed him from his victim, letting it cover his clothes. He dodged blades and bullets, striking out with his sword against anyone who attacked him. The battle was a bit muddled, and he was already confused as to which warrior was on which side.
He hadn't seen the leader of the opposite side in a while. As much as he loved to fight, he wanted a one-on-one fight. He grinned and stretched his limbs before forcing his way through the fighting to the top of the hill, where he sent a pulse of his power through the army, magnifying his voice.
"Hello, everyone. How's the fighting goin'? I love it. I think blood may be my new fashion sense." Without looking, he stabbed a soldier creeping up behind him, continuing to talk in an off-hand, conversational voice. "You're probably wondering why I'm trying to talk to all you losers. Well, I was thinking that we could pause the battle. I want a hand-to-hand combat with the so-called 'leader' of the other side. Winner gets to call victory." He smirked. "Unless they're too afraid."
Everything was a mess. The battle was a mess. Jackson was a mess. This wasn't how how thought it was going to go but it was war, nothing was ever going to truly go as planned. His weapon sliced through person after person. Some being chopped right in half, others just being stabbed. Blood was smeared over his face and body, clothes ripped and torn in places. He didn't know what blood was his, his friends or his enemies.
He hadn't bothered to use his powers yet, figuring it best to keep those hidden until absolutely necessary. Jack knew others were aware of what he could do, and tried to keep out his way in case he decided he wanted to use it. When he heard Kade's voice rip through the crowd, he stopped, pretty much everyone stopped and listened.
He bristled slightly at his words, eyes narrowing from across the battle field. He wanted a fight? Jack would give him one then. He shot a blast of his ice up into the air, a large, quite magnificent snow flake forming in the sky above him before it shattered into a thousand sharp pieces. If Kade wanted to fight him he;d have to come to him, Jack was just letting him know his location.
The snowflake burst above Kade, and his smirk grew, turning wicked. "Looks like he excepted the challenge."
He sauntered in the direction the ice had come from. The crowd parted for him, almost as if he had a contagious disease. He took his time, walking slowly, whistling tunelessly. He pulled his shirt over his head, revealing a gorgeous chest and stomach, before shining his sword with his bloody shirt.
He got to the place where Jack was, and scoffed. This was the leader? It would be no competition at all!
He tossed his shirt aside. "Hey. This isn't a fight for boys." He smiled at the man, expression viscious, and patronizing. He cracked his knuckles. "Weapons or no?"
Jack kept his anxiousness to a minimum, keeping his face stony and just down right pissed off. Kade scoffing at him just made the smaller male want to slice his head right off even more then he already did. He was small, he knew it, but strong in his own right.
"I ain't a boy, old man," His accent was strong as he tilted his head and just gave Kade a once over, "You tryna impress someone or what mate?"
He swung his weapon once, surveying it as if he'd just seen it for the first time. The blue was a bright contrast compared to the red that surrounded everyone, "Weapons, makes things just a 'ittle more interestin'."
Kade gave him a shark-like smile. "I aim to impress whoever I need to." He shrugged, muscles rippling. He pulled his shirt back over his head, smearing blood along his face and hair, making ir look a little bit freaky. He held his sword loosly, and smiled.
"Whenever you're ready, little buddy."
Jack's eyes narrowed slightly, "I ain't little."
He swung, fast and sharp. He may have been small but he was still quick, something he was glad of. An upside to not having much muscle. He aimed for the left, a move that was obvious only to flank out at the last second only to swipe at Kade's feet.
"Sure you are. You're short," Kade said conversationally as he stepped away from the left swipe. When the swipe turned to aim at his feet, however, he narrowed his eyes.
"Well, you certainly are fast, aren't you?"
He blocked the move with his sword, only barely, and lashed out at Jack's shoulder, the one attatched to the arm holding the sword.
"Comes with being skinny and short as you put it," Jack ducked and dodged, Kade's sword narrowly missing his shoulder, "Least I ain't fat." He shrugged.
Jack backed up a few steps, getting his bearings. He needed an opening to attack. He could tell Kade was a good fighter and would be able to block a lot of his attacks.
But, he swung anyway, aiming for the side of his body that was not occupied by his weapon.
"I'm not at, either. And, to be fair, I was only stating the obvious," Kade pointed out, watching Jack with his golden eyes, waiting for him to make the next move. "You're short and skinny. You have to admit that it's an accurate description of you."
The blow aimed at his side he only narrowly managed to avoid, backing up, then went into a swarm of blows, trying to break Jack's defenses.
“So was I,” Jack was ready for the attacks, or well he thought he was. He defended most of Kade’s attacks, only the last managed to just scrape his side, causing him to let out a soft hiss, “I’d rather be short and skinny then big and chubby.”
He attacked again, going for multiple blows on Kade’s side only to swoop his leg out to try and knock him off his feet.
But this time Kade anticipated his move, and blocked the blow with a neat slice, then twisted, trying to get the blade out of Jack's hand. "I prefer well-muscled. I'm not fat. I have meat on my bones." He frowned at Jack's skinny frame. "You clearly don't, though. Do you ever eat?"
Jack nearly dropped his blade, though managed to just keep a grip on it, “I might be lying if I said I did.” He took a step back, adjusting his grip on his blade. He went on the defensive, waiting for Kade to attack.
Kade didn't move, though, just stood, studying the guy in front of him with his dark gold eyes. "Well, you'd be better looking if you ate more," he said conversationally.
“I have no one to impress, I don’t need to be ‘good-looking.’” Jack shrugged a shoulder, waiting patiently. He, himself didn’t move, just watching, waiting.
"Whatever you say." Kade knew that he was waiting for him to attack, but didn't. It was always best to catch his enemy unawares. But Jack was expecting it. He needed an opening, where he could attack.
Jack smiled sweetly, lowering his blade ever so slightly. On purpose, of course, though he made it look like an accident, like he didn’t notice. Hopefully Kade would attack.
Kade half-noticed. Finally, he groaned. "If you're not going to attack, I will. Which is what you wanted, right?" He lashed out with his sword, going for a swarm of blows, while his free hand pushed out to punch Jack in the nose.
“Finally.” Jack dodged the punch, Kade’s sword scraping his side as he did so.he didn’t bother to dwell on it, preferring to focus on defending the rest of Kade’s attacks. He swivelled, just enough to get in his own attack aimed at Kade’s undefended side.
Kade rolled his eyes. "Man, you just want me to do all the hard work, don't you?" He pressed the other even harder, raining blows even harder and faster. He dodged Jack's blow just in time, although it scraped his ribcage.
“Wasn’t it obvious?” It was a good thing that Jack was small otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to dodge and defend most of Kade’s attacks. Though he faltered slightly, just enough for one of Kade’s blows to knock him off balance, sending him stumbling and weapon falling out of his grasp.
"Yeah, a little bit." When the weapon fell out of Jack's grasp, Kade grinned and moved closer, holding his sword at the ready. He pointed it at the other man's throat, about to kill him, but paused.
Jack held his hands up, eyeing the sword and bracing himself. When Kade stopped he raised a brow, “Are you gonna do it or what?” That’s how battles went, wasn’t it?
He tried to force himself to kill him, but his hand wouldn't work. Finally, with a frustrated yell, Kade threw his sword to the ground. He grabbed Jack by the collar and punched him in the face.
