@Fraust
I imagine him being very touch starved but like
He's touch starved because he refuses to let anyone touch him
It's not like he's asking for it and it's not being given
This is his own fault and we really can't feel that bad for him lmao

And then he finally lets someone hug him for once and he's like
O h
you're never allowed to let go
I imagine Sierra being so emotionally distant from everyone and everything and she doesn't know how to express feelings so she steals stuff
Oop
Pitch puts his hair up into a ponytail when he actually needs it out of his way or if it's hot outside and you can't change my mind
Hi! I updated with some more info on Uktakt, who's ready to start?
Go right ahead! Can't wait :D
yeehaw I'm readyyyyy :DDDD
Okay! I'll pull up a starter now!
(Alrighty!)
What would Uktakt die for?
He had created two beautiful, perfect children, so close to humanity and yet…
They'd never fit in anywhere, but he'd make damn sure they lived the closest to a normal life that they could get. The Palace was no place for a growing boy and girl, but maybe the Overworld was. He hoped he could get past the gates with two children crafted from souls that were supposed to be damned, recycled into something new, something good. Two could play at this creation game, after all. Or six.
He took Edara and his bag of infinite wonders, and crept through the palace to the children's bedroom. He watched them snooze softly, and suddenly he wanted to be in this moment forever, just an eternal peace and bliss. Maybe they'd get that on the surface world, but for now he had to gather his children, and prepare them for the journey ahead.
"Pitch, Sierra, wake up." he commanded in his soft baritone, spreading an Unholy Light through the room to alert them.
At the soft call from his father, Pitch stirred a bit with a soft groan. He hated being woken up, especially when it was still nighttime. He sat up and rubbed at his tired eyes, clearly pretty out of it. "What do you want…? It's late… or early, one of the two…" He whined. His hair was a mess from being slept on, and his pajamas were disheveled.
He didn't really mind living in the Underworld, honestly, but he did get pretty sick of being cooped up inside all the time. He had more energy than he had any right to have, and he tended to break things inside to burn it.
"Get packed, we're leaving in ten minutes. Anything you don't pack, we leave." he said, turning to leave. "Oh, I forgot, you don't have…" he manifested some bags, leaving them by the door. The twins didn't have much in the first place, it would be no trouble for them to gather their meager possessions together and leave. He'd carry their things, either way. Uktakt turned to Edara, nodded to her. She understood, she was to watch the children and report back if they were causing any mischief. He hoped they'd take this opportunity to leave seriously, as they didn't have much other choice.
"Huh…? Right now…?" Pitch rubbed at his eyes again, wondering if this was some odd dream. Even if it was, he wasn't going to take his chances, so he started sleepily gathering his few possessions. The majority of it was clothes, but he had some candy and other trinkets that he wanted to bring along. He wandered over to his sister and shook her to wake her up.
(aaaaaaaa sorry I was expecting to get something up in 7th period but it was waaaaaaaay busier than usual)
Sierra blinked her wide blue eyes open, taking in the light. "I'm up, Pitch," she mumbled in a small voice. She ran small fingers through her hair and slipped out of the bed. Bare feet hit cold stone floor and walked over to a small chest. Sierra began to fill the bag with her few belongings. Clothes, small trinkets, bits and pieces of things she stole from servants or her brother. She looked over her shoulder and then to Pitch. "What's going on?" She asked, raising a dark eyebrow. "We've never been out of the Palace before."
Edara went to curl around Sierra's legs, attempting to comfort the girl. She squeaked, yawned a little as even she was tired from getting little sleep, and watched the twins attentively. She then scurried over to Pitch and circled around him, making small ferrety noises and whining. Even she didn't fully understand, and she was in on the plan. Ten minutes later exactly, Uktakt reappeared. "Are you two ready to go?" he asked quietly, and Edara ran back over to him nervously.
Pitch soon finished gathering his things and pulled on his shoes before standing beside his sister, obviously struggling to keep his eyes open. He was still exhausted, and none too pleased about being woken up. "Yeah, what gives? If this is some kinda joke, it's—" He interrupted himself with a wide yawn. "—not very funny…"
Sierra naturally found her place right by Pitch, slightly behind him but not hiding. She looked at her dad with her signature wide, blue eyes. Her mouth was clamped shut into a fine line, cheeks slightly puffed out. It was almost funny looking at the twins. Pitch looked like a mess and was falling asleep on his feet, while Sierra seemed wide awake and looked much more presentable than her sibling.
(a;sdkflaj I love him)
(Ponytail baby wsfhjl)
(Idea for the soul: Uktakt let the kiddos pick their names because he wanted them to be able to know themselves, and for them to be able to choose their own destiny in effect.)
(oooooooooooooh yes. Sierra chose her name because it means mountain range in Spanish and she had always loved to look at mountain ranges in pictures on the surface. She also likes the name because it means strength and groundedness.)
(I love both Himb and the name ideas dklnsav)
Uktakt sighed. "I never joke, children. It's far too dangerous. We need to leave, now. Your home in the Underworld is not safe, our home is not safe. We're leaving, once and for all." he vowed, taking out his bag of infinite wonders and retrieved their bags, storing them safely inside the infinite space. He then gathered the children, pushing them along towards their destination, out of the palace and past the Nine Tortures. "I don't have time for bickering. Nunan will awaken soon, we must get past the gate before that happens." so close, so close, just a little further.
(Pitch probably just picked Pitch because it sounds cool let's be honest here)
