"Then give her someone she can trust as much as Rita. She doesn't know what she wants in the way of you proving it, but she'll know it when it happens."
"Then give her someone she can trust as much as Rita. She doesn't know what she wants in the way of you proving it, but she'll know it when it happens."
Sandra nodded, turning back to Amelia. "We should be getting back."
"Back where? I have no home. Not anymore.
"Back to headquarters," Sandra replied quietly.
"No. I'm not going there. Not now."
"Why?" she asked softly.
"I don't trust anyone there. I never did, really."
"Oh…" Well, I do.
"Amelia. Look at what is happening," Peter said suddenly. "Would Rita want this? All this destruction? Over her?"
Sandra froze. He was treading in dangerous waters.
Amelia's face softened greatly. "I…"
Sandra watched.
Amelia suddenly broke down on the ground, sobbing.
Sandra hesitated to approach her.
Peter started to walk towards Amelia, slowly at first.
Sandra followed Peter's lead.
"Stay back!" Amelia yelled at Sandra with a hand up, but letting Peter be.
Sandra froze mid-step.
Amelia let Peter walk towards her.
Sandra stayed where she was – even backing up a couple steps for good measure.
(low-key think this isn't going so gonna let it die)
