@Hawkeye
“She says you can stay too, Rykah.” Anna said.
Will smiled, hugging her first and then Rykah.
“She says you can stay too, Rykah.” Anna said.
Will smiled, hugging her first and then Rykah.
Rykah let his wings surround the boy, happy that things turned out all right.
Will pulled away after a second, smiling. “Let’s go home then.”
Rykah nodded, "yeah.."
Will lead the way, talking animatedly.
Rykah shrugged, happy to see Will back to normal as he followed.
Will and Anna both gestured wildly at the same time and smacked Jack in the face. You could really see the family resemblance.
Rykah stopped next to Jack, "Are you ok?"
“It happens all the time.” Jack said, rubbing his, now sore, nose.
“Sorry.” His brother and sister said together.
"I can imagine." said Rykah.
“I’ve broken my nose and my finger, and both times it was their fault.” Jack said, laughing.
"Seriously??" asked Rykah as they came up the street to Will's house.
“We were playing dodgeball and I threw it too hard. Hit him in the face.” Anna said, laughing.
“I was running and knocked into him.” Will said.
"Well please try to refrain from adding me to the list of casualties…" said Rykah laughing.
“No promises.” Anna said at the same time Will said, “I’ll try.”
Rykah laughed till they got to the door, getting ahold of himself as they got there.
Will composed himself as well. Anna opened the door for them, greeted by Mom, who hugged Will.
Rykah stayed back, slipping in and attempting to stay out of the way.
Something caught Will’s eye. His dad’s bag, packed full.
“Mom?” Will asked.
“I’ve kicked your father out.”
Rykah tensed. I hope this wasn't cause of me….
“He’s been an issue for a while.” Jack whispered to Rykah.
Rykah relaxed a little, but was still nervous.
Will’s father came down the stairs. He watched Will angrily before saying, “I apologize, William.”
Rykah tensed again when he saw Will's dad, No offense sir, but you're not hurting Will he thought..
“Thank you.” Will said cordially, and his father left.
