@Hawkeye
Anna frowned more, still not believing Jack.
“Anna, I’m basically a human lie-detector. He’s not lying.” Finn said.
Anna frowned more, still not believing Jack.
“Anna, I’m basically a human lie-detector. He’s not lying.” Finn said.
Rykah grinned, but suddenly remembering something, Thank you for earlier Finn he thought it deliberately.
“No problem.” Finn answered instinctively, not even looking over. Finn has automatically assumed that Rykah had said it aloud.
Rykah blinked, but smiled anyway.
Everyone else looked at Finn like he had suddenly lost his mind, and he suddenly realized his mistake. “Er….. whoops.”
Rykah couldn't help laughing even harder at that.
Finn smiled. “So…. dog tomorrow?”
Rykah looked around at the others.
Everyone nodded in varying degrees of excitement. Anna sparked up the conversation, asking what kind of dog they should get.
"Maybe a cute fluffy one?" said Rykah, adding his two cents to the mix.
“I vote for a big one!” Jesse said.
“I like the idea of cute and fluffy.” Finn said quietly.
“What about a golden retriever?” Anna suggested.
"I like all of them!" said Rykah unable to decide…
“I think a golden retriever would be good.” Finn said, and murmurs of agreement came from everyone else.
Rykah nodded, smiling at everyone.
(My best friend is the most idiotic idiot to ever idiot I swear to god)
“So, tomorrow, we get a golden retriever.” Will said, to get everything clear. When everyone nodded, he smiled, and said, “Finally we get a pet!”
(? What did they do?)
Rykah grinned, happy to have met them.
(They drank a smoothie, then texted a nurse’s daughter that their lips were tingly and their throat was sore, and then five minutes later texted me that their stomach hurt. And then were like, “I might be allergic” and I’m over here like you freaking idiot.)
Mom suddenly came through the door. “Evening.” She grabbed a slice of pizza and leaned against Jesse’s chair.
“Mom, we’re getting a golden retriever.” Anna said.
“Oh, good!”
"you really don't get phased by anything" commented Rykah politely, watching her.
“I raised these five. Nothing phases me. I’m just glad they didn’t pick a monkey.” Mom smiled and said.
Rykah laughed. "I think a monkey would be a bit too exotic"
“Anna once brought home a flamingo. Anything is better than the flamingo.” Anna blushed, and everyone at the table laughed.
Rykah started laughing at that.
“Listen, to be fair, Jack lit the kitchen on fire, and Will has lead from a pencil stuck in his hand, so…. who should we really be laughing at?” Anna argued.
“I lit the kitchen on fire as an experiment!” Jack said.
“And you were the one who put the lead in my hand.” Will added.
(Both of those are true stories. My brother is an idiot, and I’m oblivious to what’s going on around me.)
(XD)
Rykah gaped at all of them. "I'm kinda glad I never had siblings!" he said, "The amount of trouble you guys get into?"
“Did they tell you that not only did Anna jump off the roof, but Jack dropped a bowling ball on his foot because he was curious about what a broken bone felt like?”
“I was four!”
