Severin shook his head. "I do not care, Miguel." He replied. "This way." He led the human down a marble hallway, steps quick and surefooted. "Your room will have everything you need. You are not to leave it unless I am with you. Do you understand?" His tone brooked no room for argument.
Miguel nodded as they entered his room, he instantly sat down on his bed and sighed.
The room was of good size. The floor was white marble with plush rugs over top. The bed was a four-poster, large, with plush, thick blankets and mattress. Severin watched him for a moment.
Miguel looked around the room for a moment until his eyes rested on Severin, who seemed to be watching him, “…What?” He asked, slightly confused.
He shook his head. "Nothing you need to worry about. As I stated earlier, do not leave this room. If you are hungry, simply tug that bellpull, and food will be brought to you." He replied, gesturing to a silken bellpull that hung from the ceiling.
Miguel looked up at the bell pull and nodded, looking back at Severin, “Okay,” he replied.
Severin walked back to the door. "The bathroom is through there. If you need clothes…there are clothes in the closet that should fit you." The shadowy figure left the room, closing the door behind himself. He sighed as he released the shadow illusion on himself, rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck.
Miguel laid back on his bed and stared at the ceiling unsure what to do, “How did any of this end up happening…?” He asked no one in particular.
Severin was tall, almost strangely so, and it was easy to tell at a glance that he wasn't human. First was the bright green eyes. Eyes too green for a humans. Then came the real giveaway; the horns. His horns started on his temple, in his hair, and curled upwards a little. He shook his head, and continued walking.
Miguel had many questions for Severin but he wasn’t sure if he should ask any of them. He sat thinking in his bed.
Severin kept walking towards the meeting room. Now to explain the presence of a human in his territory. This should be interesting.
Miguel honestly had no idea what to think of Severin. He was strange and mysterious, unlike anyone he had ever met before.
(do we wanna timeskip to a bit later?)
It was nearly dawn as Severin stalked back to the human's room. He needed to speak with the human. Miguel. He shook his head slightly and cast the illusion to make himself appear like a shadowy figure again. He didn't bother with knocking, opening the door.
As soon as Miguel heard the door open, he awoke, shooting up in bed. As he looked up tiredly and ran his hand through his messy hair, he saw Severin. Miguel didn't bother asking why he didn't knock for he thought the shadowy figure would just ignore the question, "Ummm…hi…" he mumbled.
Severin dipped his head in greeting. "Come. There are…there are things I need to speak of with you." he said. He knew that perhaps it had been rude of him to simply barge in, but it didn't really matter. Not now. There were important things to speak of, and only so many hours in the day.
Miguel nodded without speaking a word, he got up out of his bed quite quickly. He stood in front of Severin, ready to follow.
Severin began walking. "First of all…nothing here is as it seems." He said. "Nothing. Nothing living, anyway. The house is, for the most part, as you see it." He lifted the illusion making himself look like a shadow, revealing his true form to the human. The brilliant green eyes. The horns curling up from his brown hair.
Miguel couldn’t help but star for a moment and blush lightly, Severin looked amazing in his true form, “Okay,” he finally responded to what Severin had told him.
Severin sighed softly. "In addition, humans aren't even supposed to be able to get into this forest. Certainly not as far in as you did. Some of the…others, are worried about your intentions. Therefore, you will not have free rein. As stated earlier, you will be staying in your room for the most part. When I am with you, I will accompany you places."
“Um alright…” Miguel answered Intentions? What? Do these creatures of this forest think I’m here to harm them? he thought with a sigh.
Severin opened a pair of doors, leading Miguel onto a balcony. He sighed softly. "In any case…is theree anything you need? That would make your stay more comfortable?" He asked, glancing over at the human. Miguel was attractive, Severin would give him that.
