He walked out to the kitchen.
He walked out to the kitchen.
Arien hummed, waiting for Dan to come back. Gabriel was in the living room, watching television.
Dan cooked himself some food then sat and ate.
Gabriel looked over at Dan.
"How was the nap?" He asked.
“It was good.”
Gabriel nodded.
"So, what do you think of all of this? Being the food source for a vampire."
“I’m fine for it, plus Arien cares for me.” He smiled.
Gabriel nodded.
"What about all the other crazy shit he dragged you in to? With Elliot, and the other vampire. You must realize this kind of stuff is normal in his world."
“….yeah I know, but I’m fine.” He said softly. “I understand it’s normal, but Arien said he’d try protecting me now.”
"He won't be able to protect you from everything." Gabriel shrugged. "It's only a matter of time before you get hurt again, or worse. Those are just the facts."
“I know.”
Gabriel looked up at Dan.
"Are you ready for that? To die?"
“I… I don’t know.” Dan replied and cleaned up then walked away.
Arien looked up when Dan walked by. He stood, going out to Dan and giving him a hug.
"You're going back to bed, right?" He mumbled.
Dan nodded and hugged him back, “yeah.” He said softly.
Arien nodded, just picking Dan up and carrying him back.
"Will you let me bring food to you next time you need to eat? I don't want you getting up a lot…"
“If you want to, I can walk, I was just told to be on bed rest.” Dan smiled.
"And that means you're not to be up walking around." Arien kissed Dan's cheek, just laying down on the bed while holding Dan.
Dan nodded and laughed a bit, “fiiine.”
Arien kissed Dan again, smiling.
"Let me take care of you," he said. He kissed Dan, again and again.
“Alright.” Dan nodded and kissed back.
Arien smiled, kissing Dan's cheek, his forehead, his neck, and anything else he could reach.
Dan giggled a bit as he did, but he felt loved.
Arien smiled softly, nuzzling Dan a little with his nose.
"My prince," he said gently.
Dan blushed a bit.
