Dan pulled a blanket over himself and sat there on the couch and brought his knees to his chest, “Arien, should I go to my room?”
Arien glanced back at Dan a moment, nodding. He turned back to the vampire.
"Give me one reason I shouldn't rip you limb from limb." The vampire hesitated.
"It was a mistake, I swear," the vampire claimed.
Dan got up off the couch and left the blanket there. He watched the two for a few moments before walking away and going to his room then shutting the door.
Arien and the vampire could be heard arguing, then sitting. There seemed to be a scuffle, and then an all out fight.
"Dan!" Arien screamed. "Get out of the house!"
Dan heard and came out of his room the only way out was the front door which meant he’d have to go past them. He was kinda scared now.
Arien was trying to pin the vampire down, both bleeding.
"Go!"
Dan nodded and ran he ran out of the building and down the street.
The fight continued for a while, but eventually Arien stumbled out, bloody and battered.
"Dan?" He called out weakly before collapsing.
Dan had already ran quite far away. He didn’t know how far he was supposed to run. He stopped in an alley to catch his breath.
Arien dragged himself to his feet. He had to get to Dan. He made his way down the road, calling out for Dan.
Dan heard him and gasped then ran to Arien’s voice.
Arien sighed in relief, collapsing against Dan's chest.
"You're okay," he mumbled.
“Yeah but you’re not.” Dan whispered and pulled Arien to sit up.
Arien's vision blurred a bit.
"I-I know," he mumbled. "I… Need some blood."
“Take some. I’ll be fine. I know you won’t kill me.” He whispered and kissed his cheek.
"But… I need a lot. I don't want you to have to go back to the hospital…" Arien wrapped his arms around Dan, weak.
“Arien! I’m telling you to take my blood, now do it. I’m not having you dying.” Dan glared and sat Arien up more and propped him against the wall of a building then sat in front of him.
Arien whined a little, then leaned forward, lightly biting down on Dan's neck.
Dan wrapped his arms around Arien and pulled him closer.
Arien drank deeply, unable to hold back much longer.
Dan started feeling a bit weak after a short time and his arms loosened against Arien. He sighed softly feeling exhausted and light headed.
Arien pulled away. He still hadn't taken enough, it was obvious, but he stopped.
"No more," he said softly, cupping Dan's cheek.
“Mmm but you need more.” He slurred looking absolutely awful from all the blood Arien had taken.
"You need it too," Arien argued. He pulled Dan against his chest, leaning against the wall.
“I’m fine, just tired.” He whispered and smiled weakly, “what happened?”
