George's face turned beet red. He scrambled to get Bailey off of him and roll away, the pain in his lower back reduced to almost nothing beneath the wave of his embarrassment. "Are you—are you okay?"
George's face turned beet red. He scrambled to get Bailey off of him and roll away, the pain in his lower back reduced to almost nothing beneath the wave of his embarrassment. "Are you—are you okay?"
He looked up at George from where he lay in the snow. "mmmmMmmm," was all he replied with.
Cheeks aflame, he came forward and reached out a hand to help the other man up.
Bailey accepted his hand, but instead of hoisting himself up, he jerked George back down.
George let out a quiet cry of surprise, falling forward and onto Bailey's chest.
He curled both burly arms around him. "Heyyy.."
George's eyes widened dramatically. "B-Bailey?"
"Mm." He grunted, and buried his fingers in George's hair. "I'like.. I like th'snow.."
"Oh—" He swallowed, wondering vaguely if Bailey could feel his wildly pounding heart through all their layers of clothing. "Why—Why are you doing this?"
"Mmn, I'm drunk as ssshit." He laughed slowly.
"I can tell," he replied, forcing the stammer out of his voice. "Do you want me to…. move?"
"No…" He sighed contently. "You're warm…"
"Oh…." was all he could say, his hands trembling ever so slightly.
Bailey took his face. And kissed him.
(ahh forgive me but I have to go
I'll be back in half an hour)
Fireworks exploded in his head, his furiously pounding heartbeat drowning out every single thought in his head except for one—Bailey. Bailey was kissing him. He didn't stop to try and regain his wits, only brought his hands up to the other man's shoulders and kisse dhim back as best he could.
Its cool, im off to bed anywho )
In reality, it only lasted a couple seconds before Bailey pulled away. He stared at George for a few seconds, then passed out from intoxication.
(oof k, gnight)
George sat up abruptly, breathing heavily. His head spun, and he didn't realize that he was straddling Bailey's middle for a few seconds. He rolled off and lay in the snow for a few seconds, grappling with the implications of what they'd just done.
And come tomorrow, the commander would never remember this even happened. All he'd remember was a game of wild chess.
The knowledge both crushed and relieved George as he hoisted Bailey up and tried to figure out how to get him onto the horse.

Bailey sat on the couch with a very grumpy, exhausted look on his face, holding a cup of unsugared coffee in his hands.
George yawned as he entered the room, not looking the ex-commander in the eyes. “G’morning.”
