John shut his eyes, "I have no doubt…"
"Good," she replied and kissed the same spot again.
"Mm.." Her husband closed his eyes to delight in her affection.

There was a man crowded against Louis, who'd vomited all over himself with some sort of debilitating illness. The wind howled through the trees far above their heads.
All Louis could think about Cruz. How he’d laughed in the forest, spoken about tomorrow. Now that would never happen.
Surely by now, his friend would be frozen to death.
And it was all Louis' fault..
The guilt and shame gnawed at the rotten core of his heart day after day. I don’t deserve to be alive, he would tell himself again and again.
Amost done w ur characters.. Just working on background now)
"Hey," a man across from Louis rasped.
(Awesome, I’m super excited to see them!)
Louis turned his head to face him, but made no other outward reaction.
The man exhaled slowly. "You're Louis, right?"
He gave a slight nod, his face betraying no emotion.
The man wiped his nose with a colorless hand. "They're coming for us, right?" He asked morbidly.
John shut his eyes, "I have no doubt…"
"Good," she replied and kissed the same spot again.
"Mm.." Her husband closed his eyes to delight in her affection.
She nuzzled her nose against his neck and hummed softly.
He began to pet his wife's hair, dozing in a haze of content.
"Mmm…" she moaned softly, brushing her lips temptingly across his skin.
"Jane," John scolded facetiously, smiling. "You're too energetic,"
Heat rushed to her face. "My apologies…" she murmured.
"Nnn, don't apologize." He consoled.
She melted against him and exhaled on his neck. "John…"
"What?" He whispered back, smiling.
The man wiped his nose with a colorless hand. "They're coming for us, right?" He asked morbidly.
Louis nodded a second time. “Oui.”
"What?" He whispered back, smiling.
"We're married," she mumbled against his neck.
The man wiped his nose with a colorless hand. "They're coming for us, right?" He asked morbidly.
Louis nodded a second time. “Oui.”
He nodded sluggishly. "I gotta son… At home. Name's Elias.."
"What?" He whispered back, smiling.
"We're married," she mumbled against his neck.
"Mm.." He chuckled, "We are."
"What?" He whispered back, smiling.
"We're married," she mumbled against his neck.
"Mm.." He chuckled, "We are."
"And I'm pregnant."
The man wiped his nose with a colorless hand. "They're coming for us, right?" He asked morbidly.
Louis nodded a second time. “Oui.”
He nodded sluggishly. "I gotta son… At home. Name's Elias.."
At this, the big man began to stir. “A son? How old?”

"And I'm pregnant."
John's face softened at the reminder. "Yes.."

"Two," the father croaked.
"I'm sorry…" he murmured, eyes cast downwards. "I hope you see him and your wife again.."
