"Hey! Just because I'm small in height doesn't mean I'm small in personality thank you very much," He crossed his arms, "Is this the thanks I get for letting you stay here?"

"Hey! Just because I'm small in height doesn't mean I'm small in personality thank you very much," He crossed his arms, "Is this the thanks I get for letting you stay here?"
(Lmao yes)
"Well, you could have kicked me out but you didn't." Harry smiled a bit. "So now, you get to deal with my annoying ass."
"I'm starting to regret my decision to let you stay." Elijah shook his head, "Since apparently all you can do is point out I'm short."
"There's nothing wrong with being short," Harry replied, running a hand through his hair. "And I can stop if you want me to."
"No, no it's fine, really, I don't mind," His eyes tracked Harry's movement, "It's late, we should head to bed."
"You sure?" Harry asked. "And, you can sleep, I'm used to staying up all night."
"Yes I'm sure. And you're going to bed to. You're injured, you need rest. No ifs ands or buts." Elijah gave Harry a look that meant there was no use arguing.
Harry held his hands up in defeat with a sigh. "Fine, fine, I'll go to bed." He glanced around the room before putting his hands down. "Where should I sleep?"
"I have a spare room you can use." Elijah hummed, heading towards the stairs. He led Harry to the bedroom, just down the hall from his own. The room was of decent size, a double bed with a wardrobe and bathroom connected.
"You have a pretty nice house," Harry commented, walking into the room while looking around. "Well, thanks for not kicking me out or trying to kill me."
"Took a lot of work to get it," Elijah mumbled, "And you're welcome. Please don't stay up late and actually try and sleep."
Harry chuckled. "Fine, fine, I'll sleep," He replied. "Now, you go sleep."
"I will," Elijah offered a smile, "Goodnight Harry." He said before he turned away and headed to his own room.
"Good night," Harry replied with a smile, quietly closing the door after Elijah and plopping down onto the bed and falling asleep almost immediately.
The night passed quickly, mainly because it had been so late when Elijah had come home in the first place. But, Elijah was still up early, a force of habit nowadays even on weekends and he was downstairs making tea in an oversized sweater by seven thirty.
Harry's eyes fluttered open as he looked around, forgetting where he was and scrambling into a sitting position. He relaxed a bit after he realized he was at Elijah's house. He quietly got up and headed down stairs, wondering if the other was awake. His question was answered when he saw Elijah. "Good morning," he mumbled, pushing his hair back with his hand.
Elijah covered a yawn with the back of his hand as he looked up at Harry, "Morning," He replied, "Tea or coffee?"
"Coffee would be nice," Harry replied, looking tired. He tried putting his hair up since it was always in his face, realizing he didn't have a hair tie and letting his hair go.
Elijah nodded a little. He saw Harry trying to put his hair up and slid a random hair tie across the counter towards him before he started on the coffee.
Harry glanced at Elijah and cautiously took the hair tie, putting his hair up in a half up half down since it wasn't long enough to put in a bun. "How come you have a hair tie?"
Elijah looked up for a moment before he shrugged, "It's a friend of mines. She was over a week ago."
Harry nodded in understanding. "You have a female friend," He noted, looking a bit surprised. "Thought you said they hated you?"
"I never said they hated me, I said majority try and get with me," Elijah corrected, "And she's a family friend, basically my sister."
Harry nodded. "Ah, makes sense," He replied. "Anyway, thanks for the hair tie."
Elijah smiled, "You're welcome," He finished Harry's coffee, taking a sip of his own tea and handing Harry the coffee, "Here you are, hope it's okay."
