Elijah turned his back to Harry as he took the now cut up vegetables and placed them in a frying pan. There was a pot of water boiling next to him, ready for the pasta he was about to put on. Out of all the places for the villain to come, why here? Didn't he have his own place? It didn't matter right now, he'd think about all that later.

Harry stayed quiet for a few moments, trying to gather enough courage to say something to Elijah. "What do you want from me?" He mumbled, going into a coughing fit right after. I regret this now…

@ElderGod-Carrots

Elijah reached up and grabbed a glass, filling it with water, and handing it to Harry, “Nothing. Just the truth about what happened to you, but in your own time of course.” He turned back to the dinner.

Harry had assuaged his coughing for a bit, shyly taking the glass and drinking a bit, still using his hair as a shield. He was praying that Elijah hadn't gotten a look at his face, considering no one would probably be able to recognize him anymore. That's rather sad…beaten until your face is blue and purple and no one can even recognize you anymore… He snapped out of his train of thoughts when we heard what Elijah had said. "What do you mean? Nothing happened to me, I'm perfectly fine."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Elijah looked over his shoulder with a look that clearly read he could see the lie, “So why did I find you in my bed, beaten up so much that it took me a moment to recognise you?” He asked. He raised a brow.

"Was it my beautiful hair?" Harry asked, forcing a chuckle out of himself in hopes of distracting Elijah from his face and body. He had several piercings on his ear, along with a lip piercing that he was found playing with almost all the time. "Or is it my piercings? My tattoos?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Elijah rolled his eyes, “Trying to distract me from the fact that your face is black and blue isn’t going to work.” He replied. He turned his head back to the food, finishing off preparing it before he turned the stoves off.

"What else do you want me to say then?" Harry mumbled, sighing in defeat. "Do you want me to say my face is black and blue because of heroes who think they need to beat the villain half to death or else their oxygen supply is going to get cut off?" He asked, glaring daggers at Elijah as he tried not to raise his voice or anything.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Elijah very nearly broke the tongs he was using to dish out the pasta in half, "Who?" He asked, focusing his attention on the meal. He had been angry before but now he was furious. People he probably worked with had done this. Sure, it was their job as hero's to fight the villains, but there was a line and they had certainly crossed it.

"And why do you want to know?" Harry asked, not caring if Elijah could see his face or not. His face and neck were covered in bruises and cuts, a black eye on his left eye was visible and had made his eye bloodshot red. "So you can gang up with him?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Elijah's jaw clenched slightly and he slid the now filled bowl towards the villain, "Would I have let you wear my clothes if I was going to? Would I have cooked for you? Clearly I'm not going to gang up with them, Harry."

Deleted user

Harry glanced at the bowl and pushed it away from him just a bit, a chuckle escaping him at what Elijah had said. "That's what all you heroes do. You go around pretending you're so nice and perfect, yet you explode when someone says something bad about you in the slightest way."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"And yet you're still sitting at my counter top after I found you in my bed," Elijah shrugged a shoulder, starting to wash up the pots he'd used to cook. Harry didn't have to eat if he didn't want to, that was his choice, "Funny how you say all of that and you still ended up here out of everyone you probably know."

Harry sighed softly. "Because you're the nicest out of all of them," he admitted. "If I had crashed at anyone else's house, they would've tied me up and interrogated me. I thought you wouldn't that, and I was right."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"I will tie you up if you don't at least eat a little of what's in front of you," Elijah mumbled, "Look, you don't have to tell me what happened, but I want to at least know who. There's a line with this villain hero thing, and you don't go around beating the other group up for no reason."

Deleted user

"It's Elliot…" Harry admitted, glancing at the food. "And we'll see how you're going to tie me up. I can easily run away from here." He glanced at the pasta in front of him, he was hungry, but he felt like he would probably seem weird or something.

(That's just how his brain works, don't ask why)

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Aight)

Elijah froze for a moment, though there was nothing other then that that showed how furious he was, "Thank you for telling me," He looked back, "And I won't tie you up until after you've had at least one mouthful."

Deleted user

Harry sighed softly, slowly taking the plate of pasta and hoping it wasn't poisoned. "Like I've said before, we'll see." He took a bite of the pasta, immediately melting at how good it was. "By the way, you're really good at cooking."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eli raised a brow, “You think? Thanks. I wouldn’t say I’m great but yeah.” He shrugged, “And I wouldn’t tie you up for no reason. You would have had to have done something.”

Deleted user

"Hush, you are great at cooking, trust me." Harry put a finger in front of lips, considering he was kind of far from him. "And what would I have had to do to be tied up?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

The hero held in a chuckle and just went along with what the other said, "Steal something, kill someone, try and kidnap then murder me. The usual kind of stuff someone gets tied up for."

Deleted user

Harry hummed in response. "The usual is for bribing, not for any of those things," he muttered in response, feeling a bit more relaxed now as he ate. "How long have you lived by yourself?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Eli bit his lip, "Pretty much since I turned eighteen. I'd been saving for an apartment and then when I had enough I bought this place. Took a lot to do it though and I'm surprised I even did. Guess it was just good luck."

Deleted user

Harry rested his head in his hand, nodding along as he listened. "Do you like it? I'm getting close to having enough money to buy a house but I'm not sure if I'd be able to pay the rent."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"It's… nice, I guess. Lonely is a better word for it honestly," He sighed, finishing off the pots and pans before he put the towel over his shoulder and faced Harry, "I was gonna get a dog but with hero stuff and work and school I won't be home to look after it."
