Maelia balked at him, had she spoken her thoughts allowed? And even so…he still offered to have her live with him. She wondered how Braith would react and dreaded how her parents would. "Yes." She said suddenly as if the word was pulled from her by the Gods.

(*aloud)

M swallowed nervously once more. If she noticed his actue sense of what was not spoken word she would question him. And he didn’t want that.
“Yes?” He asked, perking up a little. He smiled faintly.

Maelia didn't hesitate this time as she spoke, adjusting so they were face to face within the small pool. "Yes. I will come stay with you." Everyone is going to kill me…

M blinked a couple times, excitedly. “Are you sure?” He asked despite himself, voicing his worry at her thoughts.

"Oh yes! Very." I'm so dead… Maelia gave him a smile and a gentle peck on the cheek, but she could not disguise the sound of her stomach rumbling.

M pulled away a little to give her a concerned look. “You sound hungry.” And afraid…
“Neo and Braith probably went back up to the Palace, so… I guess you want something to eat, now?”

"Actually that would be fantastic since we skipped dinner." Maelia said looking a bit embarrassed. She hadn't realized how hungry she was and of course her stomach would growl at the more inappropriate time. She didn't want M to thing that she wasn't serious about living with him.

M smiled lightly. “That’s understandable. Do you want to get out now?” He sat up a little, his arms tensed slightly around her.

"Might as well." Maelia conceded, although she could stay within the waters forever. "If I am starving, you must simply be famished." She said lightly, pulling herself out of the pool. Water streamed from her form, creating little puddles where ever she stepped. She shook herself, her fire beginning to dry her off.

M tread across the pool, pulling his pants into the water before slipping them on and climbing out. He redid his buckle, water streaming from the thick wool of his dresspants.
“I am not that hungry,” He admitted softly. “I ate yesterday.”

"Yesterday was yesterday…" Maelia said absently, watching M's strange spectacle. "Why did you not just step out to put them on?" She asked with a tilt of her head. She waved a hand sending a warm flame to dry his clothing and hair.
