Eden’s POV:

I linked our fingers together, reaching out with my other hand to play with his fingers.

I shrugged at his statement.

“I’ll be fine,” I answered, pressing my hand against his, frowning when I saw how small my hand was as compared to his. “Don’t worry about it.”

Sterling’s POV:

“Sorry, sweetheart, but it’s my job as your boyfriend to worry about you,” I said, lifting her hands to my lips in a soft kiss. “Shall we go, then?”

Eden’s POV:

I nodded, smiling softly at him. Ever since I met Sterling, I had been smiling a lot more. I noticed these changes a lot. I was talking more, skipping classes a little less, being more affectionate… it was weird yet nice at the same time.

“C’mon,” I pulled on his hand. “Lee and Luke sit right there.”

Sterling’s POV:

I grinned and chuckled a bit as she led me. “All right. I will have you know, though, that I expect to be made up to for not getting to eat alone with you,” I teased her, only half joking.

Ashley’s POV:

I looked up as I heard someone approaching my table. Seeing Eden and Sterling, I smiled and moved over a bit to make more room for them.

“Hey, guys. What’s up?”

Eden’s POV:

I frowned at Sterling, opening my mouth to respond when Ashley addressed us, moving to make some space for us. I sat down next to her, stretching my legs before sitting up straight.

(Skip?)

(M’kay.)

Sterling’s POV:

I laughed as I walked up behind Eden, taking her hand and spinning her around to face me. “Are you excited? We’re graduating, babe!”

Eden's POV:

I laughed at Sterling's enthusiasm, rubbing the back of my neck. I couldn't help but be infected by his happiness.

It had been three months since Sterling and I had started dating. Although things would get a little heated up, he still kept his boundaries around me. He was careful, and I appreciated it. And of course, he was very patient.

During the time I spent around him, I managed to get out of my shell. Although I was still the same, reserved Eden, I felt a little different. And you can tell from the way I laughing freely with Sterling as if I didn't have anything holding me back.

It was a little saddening leaving this school behind. The years I spent building my reputation, scaring the students, earning my title as the Queen… It was a little… upsetting, you could say, to start it all from square one. Which, I wouldn't tell Sterling or my brother and best friend, of course, I still planned to do. My social circle was completely okay with three people.

"Well, I mean, it is a little excited," I shrugged, stepping closer to my boyfriend. "I will miss this crappy place, though."

"Well, I, for one, am glad to graduate," Lucas said from behind me, scoffing. "I can finally get into that dance school."

I rolled my eyes at my brother.

"You weren't even there half the year, Luke," I pointed out with a blank expression. Lucas merely rolled his eyes and chose not to answer.

Suddenly, there was a loud noise and the Student Council President made his way onto the stage, a proud look on his features.

"Good morning, graduates!" he exclaimed into the mic, causing students to erupt into loud cheers. I winced at the volume. "It's been such a long road, huh? I have to say, it was both exciting and challenging! By that, I mean because of the Queen of our school. You know, the quiet, scary, brooding, touch-me-and-I'll-Kill-You one."

I narrowed my eyes as students turned their attention towards me. The President laughed.

"Sorry, Ms. McArthur, I just had to make that joke," he said, raising his hands in mock surrender before continuing. "Anyway, there were many unexpected turns of events this year. Like, our dancing king Lucas McArthur coming back from training in Hollywood! We all thought he had left for good, but he came back and blessed us with his presence." He clapped loudly before adding quickly. "Also, thank you for not taking back the Student Council President position from me."

Lucas coughed as students clapped for him. His cheeks turned pink and I rolled my eyes, but this time there was a fond smile on my features.

"Right, and how could I have forgotten one important detail?" The president paused. "Our precious Vice President, manager of the wonderful events, the one who made our school year as fun as possible… Ashley Carter! Honestly, Ashley, without you, I bet our parties would have been extremely boring. You've helped everyone as much as you could, and you never expected anything in return. In fact, Ashley even helped me in some of my activities as the Student Council President. Although I'm graduating alongside her, it is sad to see her go. Your juniors will miss you plenty, Ms. Carter!"

The students cheered louder than ever, their hands clapping loudly. I nudged Ashley, happy for my best friend.

"Of course, it doesn't stop just there. How could we forget our handsome Sterling Ainsley? Goodness, this man just burst through his already popular reputation and snatched the title of school King before we all could even blink! Of course, he did start out as a little prince," he laughed into the mic and everyone joined in. I grinned at Sterling, happy that he was included in the little speech. "Oh, speaking of which… can you all guess the biggest unexpected event at our school?"

He waited for the students to answer before continuing.

"Yes! You are absolutely right! It's the Steed shipping!" I frowned, narrowing my eyes. Steed shipping? What? "Our handsome little prince managed to sweep our dangerous queen right off her feet. You've all seen the way they interact, right? It's enough to make you want to take a bath in cold water!"

My face burned red and I almost went over to smack the President before he continued.

"Anyway, the teacher is telling me to finish up and let the others talk, too, so I'm just going to end this by announcing what we've all been waiting for!"

Was there something we were waiting for?

"It's the Couple Goals contest results!"

Wait, we had something like that?

"And the winner is…" he paused for a dramatic effect. "Our one and only, CASH!"

Seriously, what is with these people and weird ship names? Steed? Now Cash?

"Honestly, Ms. Carter, Mr. Arthur, your relationship is just the cutest! You seriously deserve this award. Your ship name will go down in the legendary ship goals! Gosh, looking at you both makes me so jealous, and I'm sure the rest of us agree, even the ones in a relationship." The President finally took a deep breath and shook off the playful expression off his features. "Anyway, the road has been tough. We've been faced with challenges after challenges, but the fact that we're here, graduating, proves that we have the skills and determination to pass every other obstacle in life. I wish each and every one of you good luck. Achieve your dreams and lead a happy life. I hope we meet again one day. And that is all for my part."

(I made it too dramatic. shrugs)

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Oh my gosh, I loved that!)

Ashley's POV:

At the mention of my vice presidency, and everything I had done, I felt my cheeks warm up. And then, of course, that oaf had to go and make a ship name for Lucas and me. And "Couples Goals"? Seriously? Oh my word, I was nearly dying from embarrassment as u turned to bury my face in Lucas' chest. This was the most ridiculous thing ever…

Sterling's POV:

Prince? Since when has I been a prince? I mean, I didn't mind the mention of my sweeping Eden off of her feet, but did he have to call me a prince?

When he joked about needing a cold bath around us, I laughed and tightened the arm I had around Eden's waist, pressing a kiss to her head. That much was true, at least. We did tend to get a little heated.

I have no idea how I managed to keep things from going too far between Eden and me. It must have had something to do with the fact that I loved her too much to hurt her, so I was as careful with her as if she was a rose. And she was, to me. My beautiful flower. My sweetheart.

And… Yeah, I still had yet to tell her that I love her, but I planned to do that soon. In fact, I had a promise ring to give her, to tell her that, no matter how far apart we may go, she will always be mine. I promised to never leave her.

(I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D)

Lucas's POV:

I felt my face burn at the end of his speech, the part about our shipping making me extremely embarrassed. Of course, it made Ashley embarrassed, too, and as she dug her face in my chest to hide, I laughed and hugged her back.

I was so glad Kris made me return. If he hadn't, Ashley and I still wouldn't have made up. She would have dated someone else and I would have… well, remained single for life.

It was a great half-year, I'd have to say.

I kissed my girlfriend's head softly, hugging her tight.

Eden's POV:

I was going to miss this stupid school. The stupid bullies, the dumb fights, the lazy teachers and the activities although I barely participated in any. I was really going to miss the life of a high-school student because, after this, all of us would go our separate ways.

I'd get into medical school to be a vet. Lucas would go off to the dancing school he had his manager train him for. Ashley would pursue her own dreams and Sterling… I paused. I realized I didn't know what Sterling wanted.

We'd all go our separate ways. I wouldn't be able to kiss Sterling or hold him close to me. We'd have to settle for short phone calls. I didn't want us to go our separate ways.

I forced myself to dismiss these thoughts and the President's speech wormed its way to my head, especially the part where he called Sterling a King from a little prince. As well as the sweeping me off of my feet bit, and especially the cold shower one.

I hid my face in Sterling's chest, clutching his shirt tightly in my fists. I wasn't ready to let him go yet. What if in his college, girls tried to steal him away from me? I trusted Sterling enough to turn a blind eye towards them, but I couldn't stand it if they ran after what was mine.

I couldn't let go of him. I really couldn't. And I knew why, although I never told him. It wasn't just a deep infatuation. I loved Sterling. I loved him so much that I couldn't bear to spend even a day without him. How could I manage college years? I know we have our own dreams to accomplish, but did this have to be so hard? Did we have to go our separate ways?

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Sterling's POV:

I tightened my grip on Eden when she buried her face in my chest. Gosh, I was going to miss her… Except… I hadn't actually accepted any of the colleges that I had gotten into yet… Maybe I could find one nearby where she was going.

"I have to talk to you after this is all over, okay? There are somethings I want to double check with you," I murmured to her softly, stroking her hair a bit.

(Quick detail about vet school: you actually have to have at least a bachelors degree in something before you can get into it. I wanted to be a vet for the longest time, so that's why I know that. Lol.)

(Oh, thank you! :D)

Eden's POV:

I nodded, confused about what he wanted to talk to me about. I hoped it wasn't something bad, although I knew it wasn't. Still, it ended up with me being nervous throughout the whole graduation process.
