@ElderGod-Icefire
Connor was soaked to the skin by now, his shirt soaking wet and clinging to his body, his red hair dripping wet.
Connor was soaked to the skin by now, his shirt soaking wet and clinging to his body, his red hair dripping wet.
Wilhelm looked outside the window only to see rain pouring down from the sky. He wrinkled his nose and looked back to his book, trying to focus on the stimulations inside rather than out.
Connor ran his hands through his hair, the wet, heavy curls clinging to his fingers and leaving more drops of water on his fair skin.
He turned the page of his book, now fully engrossed in its contents. Wilhelm sat up a little straighter, although he was still practically lounging in the armchair.
Connor opened his eyes, staring up at the sky. At the grey clouds and the drops pelting down on his face.
Wilhelm stood, walking back to the dorm. He read as he walked, not actually noticing that Connor’s space was void of- well- Connor. He sat down, kicking off his shoes. “This rain’s really coming down, huh?” He looked up at Connor’s bed, finally realizing that the boy wasn’t there. “Ah.”
Connor stayed outside for a while longer, then sat up, feeling heavy with all the water that had soaked into his clothes and into his hair. He grinned, slowly standing up.
Wilhelm set his book down, simply staring at his wall. He looked at all of the letters and plants tacked onto it, remembering the memories attached to each one.
Connor headed inside, still dripping water and unable to wipe the smile from his face. He drew stares as he made his way through the building, water pooling at his feet with each step. He opened the door to the dorm, slicking his curls away from his face as he grabbed a towel to stand on so he didn't drip water everywhere.
Wilhelm looked up, slightly startled and definitely taken aback by Connor’s appearance. “Uh- hey..?”
He waved a little, grabbing a second towel and scrubbing at his head. "Hi. Ah…may no' have thought this decision through all th' way." he realized. He was dripping wet still, clothes clinging to his body and hair soaking wet.
Wilhelm laughed a little at Connor’s remark, nodding. “No, I don’t think you did. Would you like help? I can get you dry clothes.”
Connor peeked over at him, doing his best to dry himself with the towel. "Yes please." he said. He pulled off the wet shirt, setting it aside and working on drying his torso off.
Wilhelm walked over to Connor’s side of the room, trying to avoid looking at the other boy. “Ah.. where do you keep your clothes, again?”
"Uh. In th' dresser where they belong?" he replied, not looking up from where he was still drying off.
“Fuck, not what I meant. Nevermind, sorry.” Head’s not too clear. Wilhelm pulled out new clothes for Connor, handing them over and still trying not to really look at him.
Connor reached out a hand and took the clothes, carefully setting them aside where they wouldn't get wet. He sighed softly, and went ahead and undid his trousers as well, sliding them off and tucking the towel around his waist.
Wilhelm quickly ducked his head back into his book, accidentally catching a glimpse of Connor in his peripherals. He gritted his teeth, trying to focus on anything but the Scottish boy.
(me sitting here smirking lmaoo)
Connor paid no attention to Wilhelm, still working on drying off. He searched through the clothes, and discovered that Wilhelm had either forgotten or neglected to grab underwear. His towel still wrapped around his waist, he went to his dresser and grabbed some, changing into them while still keeping the towel wrapped his waist.
(wilhelm might actually die idk he might have a heart attack)
Wilhelm had to physically turn away from Connor, his face burning so red and hot it may as well have been on fire. He now faced the wall, shoulder leaning on his headboard and head slightly ducked. He rubbed his eyes and temples, taking a breath. Fuck. What have I gotten myself into?
(exactly rubs hands together like cheesy evil villain genius)
Connor got dressed, and wrapped the towel around his shoulders over the shirt, to catch any drips from his hair. "Thanks." he said, putting his wet clothes somewhere to dry, along with the towel he had stood on.
(lmaooo)
Wilhelm nodded slightly, trying not to show how flustered he was. Even his hands shook a bit, but he didn’t really turn back to face Connor. “Y-yep, no problem.”
Connor sat down on his bed, his red hair still wet. He stretched.
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure I can ever look at him again. He admitted to himself, trying to wake himself up to the reality that every time he saw Connor, he’d have that mental image in his head. And that wasn’t really something he could handle.
(at least we knew wilhelm isn’t dramatic or anything)
Connor let out a soft hum, flopping backwards onto the bed and swinging his feet a little bit.
(who, Wilhelm? Dramatic? Never)
