Archer took his suitcase out of the car and then shut the trunk. He locked it before catching up to Addie.
“I can’t believe this is happening,” Addie whispered, turning to Archer. “You’re really coming.” She grinned. “I’m so happy.”
"I'm happy, too," Archer said softly, looking down at her with a smile. He quickly bent down and kissed the top of her head, grinning when he straightened and continued walking.
//time skip again?
(What, no reaction to him kissing her? [Even if it was only the top of her head…])
//oh that whoops XD
Addie blushed, then hurried after him. “You can’t just do that and then walk away!” she teased.
(Lol.)
"What? Do you not want me to kiss your head?" Archer asked, turning to face Addie so that he was now walking backwards.
“No, I mean, it was great,” Addie hurriedly amended. “I guess what I’m saying is… oh, stop walking!”
She grabbed his sleeve and pulled him closer, until they were almost nose-to-nose. “What I’m saying is, is that was anti-climactic. But I’m going to fix that.” She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him for reals.
//sorry… I can’t write kissing scenes :P
Archer's eyebrows shot up in surprise as Addie kissed him, but he cupped her cheeks and kissed her back. He let his eyes fall shut and put an arm around her waist, pulling her closer.
Addie leaned into the kiss, her thoughts all tangled together.
Wow, that was confident. I am never that confident. But that’s okay, because now I’m kissing Archer. I am actually and literally kissing Archer. Wow. This is amazing.
After a few more seconds because I dunno how long kissing takes, Addie pulled back and voiced her thoughts. “Wow.”
Archer chuckled and opened his eyes, resting his forehead against Addie's.
"Wow is right," he breathed. "I can't believe that just happened…"
“Me neither,” Addie whispered, laughing softly.
Archer pulled her into another quick kiss, grinning when he pulled away.
"Okay. As much as I'd love to continue to do this, we need to get to the terminal before we're late," he sighed.
“You do have a point,” Addie smiled. “And I can’t read most of these signs, so lead the way.”
"Of course, mon cheri," Archer said, shifting his bags so he could put an arm around her waist.
Addie leaned towards him and let him guide her to their terminal, because security is overrated.
//sorry idk what to say lol
(Lol. It's okay. Skip to the States?)
Archer kissed the top of her head as they waited in line to get on the plane.
"Still can't believe I'm coming with you…" he murmured, bending down to speak in her ear.
//sure :D
“I can’t believe it, either,” Addie whispered back, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
(Okie-dokie.)
Some hours later, Archer and Addie stepped off the plane. Archer led Addie over to the suitcase corral to grab their bags, grinning and looking around excitedly.
“It’s like you’ve never seen an airport before,” Addie laughed, taking her bag off the corral.
"Not an American one," Archer chuckled, grabbing his own bag and starting toward the doors.
Addie tapped him on the shoulder. “I should probably lead this time,” she said, smiling. “Here. You can hold my hand.” She held her hand out to him.
Archer snorted and rolled his eyes, taking her hand anyway. "I can read English, you know."
“I know you can read English,” Addie laughed. “However, you are in one of the most confusing airports in history. Therefore, holding my hand is the best option.”
"All right, all right. I suppose that is a good idea, then," Archer chuckled, letting her lead him through.
