Amity glanced to the Small Ben. "It's late." She brushed a stray curl behind Luz's ear.

She nodded. "Yeah, I should really try to sleep."

"Yeah. Good moonlit hours" She pressed her fingers to her mouth then to Luz's hairline.

Instead of going to sleep, she just sat there staring out the see-through wall for a while, and drew a few glyphs in her notebook, which of course didn't work.

Amity didn't sleep either. She snuggled in under her covers and watched. Her peepers earned for sleep but she kept watch. At last sleep claimed her.

Luz stayed up for a long while after that, then decided that it wasn't worth it to lose sleep. She crawled into her bed and tried to fall asleep, and eventually did after another hour or two.

Amity was the first to wake the following morning, an old habit. After getting dressed in a very cute purr machine shirt, some leggings, and a jacket she headed downstairs and poured herself cereal.

Luz slept in by about exactly 3600 seconds, and came downstairs, still in her snooze suit.

By the time Luz came downstairs Hunter had awakened. He and Amity were working on their Spanish from the scary owl app.

Luz sat down at the table next to Amity. "Alright, pop quiz. Tengo que ir a la biblioteca porque olvidó mi libro."

She thought for a second before saying "I need to go to the wisdom warehouse because I forgot my grimoire?"

"Good job!" She grinned "Keep it up!"

"Thanks Luz" She smiled and offered a bowl of cherrios

Luz took the bowl and walked over to the fridge to grab cow juice. She ignored the random soccer ball in the fridge, which was probably something Gus did.

(gus would.) Amity watched for a minute before going back their Spanish lesson, Vee now joining in. After a minute they discarded the tablet and Vee turned on the TV, some show about brown-haired twins and an evil dorrito filled the screen.

"What episode are you guys on? I want to make sure I don't spoil anything."

Vee awnsered instead of amity " We're on episode 5." Amity nodded along. "I like the handy man person Zeus?"

"Oh, yeah. Just wait until Bill shows up. He's my favorite." Luz sat down next to Amity.

"My favorite is Giffany" Vee adds before wrapping themself up in a blanket. Amity rubbed her head on Luz shoulder, kind of catlike.

"I hate to break it to you, but she's only there for one episode." Luz leaned her head against Amity's.

"I know" Vee sighed.

Luz sat in silence and watched for a bit, and it took her everything to not spoil stuff

Camilla walked in and announced "We going to the pool kids. Get ready, we leave in 30." Hunter stood up and walked away, probably to figure out what a pool is. Amity just asked Luz.
