(It will definitely be more ambitious than my other projects because I'm the Bad At the Draw but it will be okay because I draw people A Lot.)

(Yeah don’t worry about it! I draw people a lot too, if you can’t tell XD)
(I could tbh.)
(I figured XD)
(Thinking about how small Hurricane is compared to everyone else gives me serotonin. Especially compared to Eden, lol.)
(4’9 friend and 7’0 soft lad)
(Exactly. Short people have more room for the rage.)
“No need to to apologize,” Mina said, grinning a their interaction. “And of course, you don’t have to go to the lab right now. Oooh, would you like me and Jonathan go searching for a secret library while you look for the researching equipment? Or do you think you have everything handled?”
(No they have less room, so it’s all shoved in. They can’t hold it all in those tiny bodies)
(That's what I meant lol.)
(as always, @Tired-but-passionate, your art is literal perfection.)
Eden busied themself with cleaning up the mess left from breakfast, feeling the itching need to be useful to someone now that they didn't have Victor to be useful for. They washed dishes and left them out on the rack to dry, and then went to vacuum the living room, feeling the need to do something with their hands. They then tidied up Hurricane's things, and, finding them asleep in their room, decided to simply leave them by the door. They took out the little trash that was there and then began preparing to clean the windows, needing to again, be useful.
(Thanks >//////<)
(Omg your art is so good @Tired-but-passionate, I love it!!)
"That was be wonderful, thank you," Victor said to Mina. "Mx. Holmes and I can search for equipment, although we may need a set of extra arms in case anything needs hauling." His voice raised a bit at the end, although it wasn't quite a question. He knew who he should ask, of course, and ask directly, but he couldn't make himself.
Nevertheless, the offer stood.
Eden turned their head to face Victor and Sherlock, smiling a little. "If you need help moving anything, just let me know and I'll get it to where you need it safely." they said, beginning to clean off the large window looking over the city quickly. "I just need to finish cleaning these windows, and then I'll be free to assist in any scientific endeavor you may need."
Hurricane couldn't get in contact with Sora, so that turned out to be a waste of time. When they woke up, they searched the room for anything useful, and found a hidden panel in the wall with the inner part of the door labeled with their name. Inside was a treasure trove of various needles, pills, and foul-smelling drinks. How would Moriarty know… well, they did make their mind work better, less fuzzy all the time. It wouldn't hurt to use some on missions, would it? They wouldn't tell anyone about this for the time being, however. It would be their little secret. They went back down to join the others, whistling as they descended the stairs.
"Yes, that would be…quite nice," Victor said, glancing tentatively up at Eden. It was still slightly surreal to have to look up at someone. "Would you like us to get a head start, or…"
He trailed off with a slight wave of his hand, gesturing to the windows. The skyline, while slightly obscured, was nearly breathtaking, like something from a painting.
"Oh, do what suits you. If you start early, I'll come down once I've finished." they said cheerfully. Was this what having friends was like? Or even just basic respect? Eden didn't know, but whatever this was, it was very lovely.
Hurricane slid into a chair by Mina and Jonathan, looking them both over suspiciously. "So, cool lady and her husband I guess, what's your deal? You both seem fairly tame to be on this mission. What are you hiding?" they asked, wondering exactly how the two came to be here.
(Thanks Jyn! I hope I did Victor justice, haha)
“Of course,” Mina replied happily to Victor. “We can start looking in a little bit.”
She and Jonathan looked over at Hurricane, not really expecting them to sit beside them. She raised an eyebrow, chuckling slightly.
“Did you see the rings?” She held up her hand, where a silver ring was sitting around her ring finger, intricate geometric patterns engraved in it. “I’m Mina.”
“Jonathan,” he offered, raising his hand in a brief greeting.
There was a pause before Mina said, “Well, I guess we have a lot we’re hiding. I mean, we just met, right? I could be asking you the same question.”
"Well, you don't get to know about me because I'll probably get killed if I tell you much beyond my name, Jonathan and Mina. And yes, I noticed the rings. I'm not as observant when I'm sober, but I get the job done. What's your deal, then? You can't be all sugar and spice and everything nice, you've got to have at least one horrible dark secret." they said, leaning forward a little too closely to the couple with wide, sunken eyes that looked just a little too plasticy to be fully human.
(You did! Your style is so cute!!)
“Aww, c’mon, I’d like to know more about you!” Mina laughed as Jonathan slowly pushed Hurricane away from them with a nervous expression on his face. “But I suppose we wouldn’t want you dead, now would we?”
Her mind briefly flashed to events that occurred both in the far and recent past; the chilly evening she had attended her parents’ funeral when she was small, seeing Jonathan in the hospital, his hair turned silver and his eyes wide with terror. Watching Lucy bite into that toddler’s neck and the feeling of wanting to scream, but not having the voice to. That dreadful night, her night clothes spattered with blood, her arms clinging around Jonathan and begging him to stay by her side, her lips smeared with crimson. Aunt Charlotte’s sticky notes, and Aunt Elizabeth’s sobs.
She took a shaky breath, smiling ruefully. “I don’t know, that we don’t have children?”
Jonathan chuckled, though the look on his face said that he had been remembering things too. “My mother always wanted us to have children, didn’t she?”
“Yes, haha. Jokes aside,” she said, taking his hand. “You can’t just have someone kill a loved one and do nothing about it, right?”
(Awww I’m glad!)
"Ooh, so someone you loved died, huh? Sounds perfectly dreadful, but you don't need to give me the details if it's too upsetting. I get shit like that." getting Curiedeomous killed because of their debts was one of the worst mistakes of their life. One day, they woke up, and just… saw the corpse, through the door of their hotel bathroom, room spattered with blood. Poor Curie, Sora had just wanted to help him get through law school. But when Sora, and by extension Hurricane, saw the body… well they couldn't just stay, they'd get framed instantly. So the two just… ran. Ran so far away that they ended up on Soul. "It just so happens that I have personal experience." they mumbled, a little upset now. Nothing a little drink wouldn't fix, if they could find where Moriarty kept the liquor. There ought to be some here, right? "Hey, I'm going to find some booze and drink my discomforts away, want any?"
