“Yeah….we’ll just have to be really nice to him to make up for it.”

"We have to show him we actually care. Cause we do."

“We really do. It’s just so fun to tease him.” He chuckled softly.

"That's true, it really is." She giggled.

“Hopefully he’ll forgive us…we have been a little bit relentless with the teasing.”

"Just a tad bit." She chewed on her lip. "Wow, I seriously sound like a concerned girlfriend, what's up with that?"

Ethan chuckled. “Welcome to my world.”

"Hey, maybe one day I actually will be. Just getting in my practice now."

“Yeah maybe one day. We’ll probably be fighting for the position honestly.”

"Who says we can't share it?"

“Knowing how stressful Jax can be, it seems like it’d be the perfect position to share honestly.”

"Then I guess it's up to us to convince him to share, isn't it?"

“He probably wouldn’t mind the sharing part too much honestly. It’d just be the whole relationship thing that would bother him.”

"Which is what we need to convince him to share."

He nodded. “Well okay then…it’s worth a shot.”

"Hey, you never know if you don't try, right?"

“Well, I guess we’re partners now then, in both ways.”

"I'm good with that." A smile spread across her lips. "I suppose it really is that simple."

He chuckled. “I guess so.”

"But now we have a missing piece we need to get, don't we?"

“Yep. Think we’ve given him enough time to cool off?”

"I'd say so. Now come on, this trio isn't complete without him."

He nodded, heading up the stairs. “Jax?” He called out.
“Whaddya want?” Jax yelled back from wherever he was upstairs.
Ethan chuckled quietly, rolling his eyes. “Well he seems better. Time to go find him.”

"Let's go!" She headed upstairs to find the missing member of their trio.

Jax was sitting on the floor of Ethan’s room, his hair wet, so he actually had showered. He was trying to lure the cat out from under Ethan’s bed again.
