"yeah and I'll beat the hell out of all you living fucks" he scoffed, shoving his hands in his pockets. Honestly, he was itching for a fist fight. He wanted to knock that kids teeth down his throat. But the fact that he walked away without a fight gave Min a sense of triumph. Which he would take with a bit of dissapointment.
"see Ya wuss" he says with a smile, waving at him as he walked down the hallway. He really wanted him to turn around and attack him. Though that's what he wanted out of every guy he encountered. Always looking for a fight.
Jake flipped him off, but he wasn't stupid enough to start fighting in the middle of the hallway. Perhaps they'd stumble upon each other after school…
He shook his head again and rounded the corner, disappearing into some classroom several doors down.
Min-Hyuk only returned the favor before the kid dissapeared into another classroom.
Soon he stood outside of his biology class, waiting for the teach to dismiss class.
Once she did and the bell rang, he was ready to go to the roof but out came Ms. Potter with a big smile on her face. She was a lovely looking woman in her 20s. A rather new teacher, but everyone loved her to pieces. And she loved everyone else more. She stepped in front of Min and pulled his ear back into the classroom once everyone was out and shut the door behind her.
"Min-Hyuk…i don't mind you skipping class if you've gotten all of the assignments done. I assume you've done them then?" she asked cheerfully. Min-Hyuk let out a sigh and dug in his bag after setting it down on one of the desks.
Handing her about 20 pages worth of assignments from the past week, he raised his eyebrow.
She was actually the only teacher he really liked, so of course he did the homework. Well… Hired someone to do it for him. No, he didn't beat up anyone or threaten them to do his schoolwork. He never beat someone up for stupid reasons.
"didnt think I would did Ya?" he smirked. Now I'll be leaving then" he says pushing himself off of the wall and heading towards the door. Though she stopped him again, tugging on his hoodie.
"Min, don't get into any trouble okay? You've already got plenty on those strong shoulders if yours already. Don't add more weight" she says ruffling his hair and pushing him out the door. "now go eat. It's hot dogs today" she says with a smile. And with that he was off to the cafeteria, not about to eat hot dogs though.
Hana wandered into the cafeteria alone, humming softly to herself with her usual smile still plastered onto her face. It seemed like nothing could get her down, except maybe those girls who liked to bully her. She sat alone at a lunch table and opened up her lunchbox, beginning to eat one of the few onigiri inside. These had always been her favorite, so she brought them almost every day.
No, he wasn't specifically looking for anyone. But when he caught sight of Hana, he made his way over to her casually. Though he had to swerve through many students and within fifteen seconds, he was only half way there. Getting distracted every now and again with people bumping into him and having to fight the urge to start a fight. Again.
He didn't know this chick well enough to really want to sit with her. But he did know one thing. It'll annoy Jake, so he was in.
"Oh! Hi, Min-Hyuk!" Hana waved at him and grinned, taking another bite of her onigiri. None of her friends seemed to have arrived yet. "How are you?" She asked. "Was your last class good? Mine was. I'm almost finished with my art project! We've been working on them for about a month now."
His mind was a bit jumbled from all of the comments and the questions. She was sweet though, so he went with it. As he wasnt really annoyed with her.
He sat down in front of her on the other side of the table and thought over everything she said.
“Um, I’m good. I…didnt-“ he paused, deciding to not tell her that he skipped class “Yeah, it was fine. Um…what art project…are you working on?” He asked hesitantly
"I'm making a bird sculpture!" Hana grinned cheerfully. "It's a bald eagle. They're apparently important in America." She hummed softly and picked up a second onigiri. "Do you want one?" She asked, offering it to Min-Hyuk. "They're really good!"
“Yeah, apparently” he says tilting his head to the side a smidge with a small shrug.
“Oh, i know. Thanks” he says taking one. Taking a bite of it, he smiled a bit. He used to eat these all the time with his sister, but he never hung out with her much anymore.
“So, why arent you with any of your friends huh?” He says in between a small bite.
"No problem!" Hana picked up another and took a bite. "I dunno where they are. They're late sometimes, and since they're all in orchestra, sometimes they stay to practice! But it's okay, they have a concert coming up. It's important to practice!" She grinned. "Practice makes progress! I don't like to say practice makes perfect because no one is perfect!"
Man, she really was something and he just couldn’t put him finger on it.
“That makes sense.” He shrugged. Not really knowing quite what to say. He never actually socialized that much with….anyone. Ever really.
He leaned forward a small bit, swallowing “so, Jake. What’s up with him? He seems nice” he asked
(Sorry, its short, I’m in a hurry)
(Np ^-^)
"Jake? Oh, he and I have been friends since we were kids! When I moved to America, our moms pushed us together!" She laughed and took another bite of her onigiri. "He gets really protective of me. I think it's because I'm so little and the mean girls pick on me."
"well, I can tell that much" he chuckled, raising his eyebrows for a second before settled his expressions back down.
"you guys a thing or what though?" he asked, figuring he at least liked her. He was too protective over her to not. Well, that's what he thought
"Hmm?" Hana blushed a bit. "Oh, no! Jake and I are just friends!" She grinned. "We're really close, but we're not dating or anything. I've never dated anybody before." Even if Jake liked her, which he may or may not, Hana would be completely clueless. She was incredibly naive and innocent, so the thought had never even crossed her mind.
"you've never dated anyone before? Like not even one person?" he asked, surprised but expecting it almost. She was super adorable, so it wouldn't be surprising if a bunch of the students here liked her. But she seemed like the dense type.
Hana shook her head. "Nope! Never had a boyfriend. I think I might like to at some point, but I don't think anyone here likes me that way… Oh well! I'm sure there's someone out there for me!" She sipped happily on a juicebox.
He chuckled a bit, though stitching his eyebrows together for a second in confusion. She sure was unique. A ton of the other girls here would have said they wanted a boyfriend and they're sure plenty of guys like then. Not her. But then again, she was dense. Or from what he could tell. He was tempted to test this theory out. But he decided against it. Just in case she wasn't dense and she picked up on what he was doing. Just to be safe.
And he was almost 100% sure plenty of guys were head over heals in love with her.
"oh I'm sure plenty do" was all he said with a shrug, doodling a clover on his hand
"Really?" Hana looked up, her eyes sparkling with hope and happiness. "Do you think so?" She continued sipping her juice box until she was finished with it, still seeming to be in good spirits. "That would be nice… why wouldn't any of them talk to me, though? It's kinda weird to just follow around someone you like and never say anything, don't you think?"
He scoffed at the irony of her words, but only shrugged. "Well definitely. Here, let's put it in perspective" he shifted in his seat "so you're this really pretty, happy go lucky, cute girl. You come into people's lives and make them happier. How you do it….the hell do I know" he says mumbled the last part. "Of course guys are gonna fall for you. But…they're nervous. Too nervous and afraid of rejection to talk to you. So they protect you from afar. From guys like me" he says with a wink, a sly smirk on his lips.
Hana blushed more as Min-Hyuk spoke, soaking in every word he said. She nodded slowly in understanding. "I guess that makes sense… I just… I never really thought that anyone would like me. And why would people want to protect me from you? You've been nothing but nice to me."
He laughed with a shrug "I'm not a good person Hana. I set a chick's hair on fire yesterday. I beat the hell out of people who mess with me and I'm…" he paused "I kind of a dick. Nobody wants me around you because they think I'll hurt you. Of course I won't. But I only have my word. Against the whole schools. You basically have a fan club for crying out loud" he says
"I have a fan club??" Hana asked, bewildered. "Can I join? That sounds like fun! And you probably shouldn't set people's hair on fire… it takes a while to grow back out, you know. Was she able to put it out?" She asked. "She's okay, right?"
Taking a drink of his water, he almost spat it out when she asked to join. Instead silently choking for a few seconds because swelling and laughing a bit.
"Uh….youncant join you're own fan club" he chuckled. "And I know i shouldnt. It's a mean thing to do. But I'm a mean person. And she was being annoying even after i told her to stop. I do mean things though. She's alright by the way" he shrugged. The fact that she was so concerned about that chick….man She was too innocent. She needed to be protected by all means.
"Why can't I?" Hana asked curiously. "I mean… it's kinda weird if there's a club about me and I'm not even there, don't you think?" She nibbled thoughtfully on a slice of apple. "I don't have much to do after school anyways. It could be fun! Are you part of any clubs?" She asked, finishing her apple slice and picking up another one.
He was a bit taken aback for a second when she didn't even bother to mention his last half of the sentence. But he shrugged it off easily.
"I….dont think they know you know if that makes sense" he says holding in a slight laugh.
"N-no, I'm not in any clubs. They're not my type of thing"
