(Absolutely! No problem tho, I haven't been on much myself anyway. Maybe we should do a bit of planning since we've been away for a while?)
(That's probably smart. So, Theo's mom just died, right? And Theo is reading Piper's writing journal)
(Absolutely. I'm thinking Piper gets busy with some scheduling issues and plans to leave sooner than she originally did, so there's a bit more conflict between them since Theo feels alone and Piper has to leave. What do you think?)

He felt the corner of his lips lift up slightly in a smile, and looked away. "Do you only write poetry?" he asked, watching as cars drove in and out of the parking lot.
"No," she replied as she followed his gaze. "I also write short stories and things; really I just write whatever I want to whenever I want to. there isn't any structure in my methods." She smiled. "I honestly don't know whether that's good or bad."
After a moment of silence, she steered the subject back to his current situation. "I think it would be best for us to go inside now," she said as she reached for his hand to squeeze. "Are you ready?"
He took her hand and gladly and, ignoring the growing weight in his stomach, he nodded. He got to his feet, heart thundering. « Ready as I’ll ever be. »
He paused a moment, trying to think of what his mother would look like in her bed, eyes closed, the tube stuck down her throat.
(I’m just going to bump)
(lmbo sorry)
She stood and, after waiting for him to do the same, got up and walked up the stairs. She could basically feel how much heavier he had become; she wished she could do more. After going into the double doors, they passed the receptionist and went straight back up to her room. They only paused when they got to the door.
"Are you ready?" Piper asked him as she squeezed his hand again.
