Ok so here’s my idea:
Girl is determined to travel the world for one year before settling down. Then she meets someone. And she doesn’t know whether to keep that promise.
This can go in so many different directions, feel free to make the story exciting.
Rules:
- no one sentence responses! If you really can’t think of anything, ask me to write another response or do a time skip or a flashback or SOMETHING
- I really want this to be like a stereotypical straight angsts rp
- no OP characters
- pg 13 pleeeeease
Yes you may! Here’s a template:

I’ll be the girl btw, I need to practice using this character a bit more if that’s okay with you?
Name: Piper Wilde
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Looks: mocha skin, curly hair (like a 3b hair texture) down to her mid back, bangs, a few freckles across the bridge of her nose, thin build, heterochromia, is about 5’6”. Very large eyes, upturned lips with no Cupid’s bow. She always has a bandage somewhere.
Personality type: INFP (introverted, altruistic, creative, secretive, feeler, sometimes runs away from positive emotions)
Backstory: lived with her parents in Southern California for all her life. Is an only child, had a very pleasant childhood, no depression or anything like that. Her parents decided to send her on a year round trip around the world, with the agreement that she wouldn’t do anything stupid and get herself into trouble, or she was coming straight home. So, as soon as she graduated technical college with an associates degree in drafting, she started her trip. She is currently 4 months in, so she has about 8 more to go.
Likes: rain, writing, drawing, dancing, collecting random facts, unsaturated colors, cinematic music
Dislikes: tea, mustard, people who feel like they have to know everything and be right all the time, stereotypes (even though she has some herself), the color orange, and wearing socks to bed.
Theme song: The All Spark by Steve jablnosky (it’s a cinematic song)
Family: just per parents and her turtle Sam. Not close to any distant relatives. Her best friend who is like a sister to her is named Gwen.
Anything you need to know: she will have her guard up to new characters, so she might be a bit passive aggressive and sarcastic in the beginning, but if she likes them she’ll mellow out. Eventually.
Sorry, I'm going to be on very irregularly in these next two weeks cause of exams. I'm halfway through the temp
(Oh ok no problem I understand, take your time)

Ooooh I like him, that’s great! Ready to start?
Okie dokie! The setting is Hastings, New Zealand.
Piper ran down the small cobblestone road, her strings of her untied shoelaces flying behind her. Of all the days to be late for work, she chose today. Her first day at the coffee shop.
Can’t be late, can’t be late, she chanted to herself. She watched as the stones flew past her quickly moving feet.
Shy turned the corner and jumped onto the sidewalk, weaving through the small groups of people walking down the road. She ignored all signs of life, completely focused on making the next subway train that was now five blocks away.
A mere 5 blocks away, a young man dove into the subway station, praying he could catch his train. His uniform stuck to his lean body, damp with sweat, his clerk's badge glinting in neon lighting of the underground.
He sprinted down the crowded steps, knocking over a woman in the process. He stopped, helped her up, apologized, and kept on running.
2 minutes later he reached the platform to the thin sound of closing train doors. His heart sank and it took a visible effort for him not to fall to his knees in the middle of the crowd: he'd missed his train.
(I'm so sorry!!! I should be back to regular posting now!)
Piper ran up, out of breath, and watched the train zip away. She then let her head fall back in obvious disappointment, and she let out an irritated huff. She was late. Mrs. Ingram was gonna kill her.
After a moment, she looked around to see who else had missed the train. There were at least six people who were obviously upset, and maybe another seven that were in question. Piper sighed. At least she wasn’t late by herself.
She spotted an iron bench a few feet away, and went to go sit. She let her hat slide down the front of her face and sat with her arms crossed.
Theo glanced down agitatedly at his watch, his face pulled tight in an unhappy expression. He swore under his breath and went to sit on one of the benches nearby, on which a girl already sat.
The signs said the next train was due in 4 minutes, which was cutting it tight. He let his head fall forwards and crossed his arms over it, hiding his face from view as he bit his lip hard to keep breaking into disappointed tears.
In the midst of coming up with a good excuse, Piper felt someone sit next to her, and she looked over to see a completely defeated young man. Yep, he had definitely missed his train. He was one of the few that were obviously upset.
“You missed it too, huh?” She asked him. As she waited for a reply, she tugged at her loose hat strings and looked out to the tracks. People were starting to clear the area a bit. Now there was only a handful of people that were still standing next to the painted white line that told people how close to the train they could get.
Jolted out of his wallowing, Theo looked over and gave a half-hearted nod. "That obvious, huh?" he asked through a forced smile.
“Yeah. I missed it too, and today is my first day of work,” Piper replied. As she spoke, she took in the appearance of this young man. She could see his face now that he had lifted his head up. He looked a little like a surfer, with his sandy hair and stormy eyes. She liked it.
“I just can’t ever seem to be on time for anything.” She was starting to feel a bit self conscious now that he was looking at her. Eye contact always made her nervous.
(What colours are her eyes?)
(Green and brown, the brown is like a light brown and the green is like a dark green so the heterochromia isn’t that noticeable)
(Like this but a bit darker)
