(Hey so sorry about the wait i wasn't doing the greatest yesterday and i really needed a break which i regret taking because when i came back i had 21 pings…)
"I could probably carry him but im not sure where to keep him so my father doesn't see.."
(Np!)
"We could bring him to Samuel's den." Nich suggested. "He could probably do with a chaperone anyways. I guess Teagan would have to stay with him so it's not suspicious that he's walking around alone."
Ember nodded before walking over to the two boys "teagea im going to need to carry finn to Samuel's den your coming with so dad doesn't thing anything."
"Uh… okay. Is he gonna be okay?" Teagan asked, getting to his feet and looking up at Ember worriedly. Nich followed Ember quietly.
"He should be fine but id rather have him near the pack then all the way out here, i just have to figure out a why to carry him without him getting hurt or throwing up on me.."
Teagan nodded a bit and got out of the way so that he wouldn't be an issue, at least. Finn was either unconscious or extremely out of it at this point, so he didn't have any tips to add.
Ember nodded her thanks to teagan moving and managed to get finn on her back somehow before starting back towards the pack
Nich and Teagan followed her closely as guards, doing their best to shield Finn from view and also let Ember know if any other wolves were approaching so they could hide.
Ember made her way to the den surprisingly fast once she got finn situated near Samuel she turned to look a teagan "okay..ill need you to stay here with finn until he heals unless you'd like to raise suspicion. "
"Uh… okay." Teagan hesitated a moment before going over to lay next to his brother. Nich sighed softly, staying over by Ember.
"What now?" He asked her.
Ember looked at the two for a moment before turning to nich "well we could go back outside i can show you around if your still thinking about staying."
"Yeah, sure. That's fine with me." Nich replied and then headed out of Samuel's den so Ember could show him around.
Ember followed after nich once they left all that could be heard was Samuel yelling and then a crash which was caused by him jumping into something and this made ember laugh a little "come on this way."
Nich looked over his shoulder, more concerned than amused, but didn't investigate since Ember didn't appear to be very worried about it. He followed her closely, glad to continue the tour without any more clumsy teenagers breaking their arms.
Ember snickered at nich's face and continued walking "Samuel as you've seen gets very….excited at times especially around the boys, he likes them their closer to his age."
"Mm… how old is Samuel?" Nich asked curiously. "Am I the old one here? I'm 21." He laughed softly, picking up his pace to keep up with Ember. She was considerably larger than him in these forms, after all.
"He's about 17 He's an adult but he's a child all at the same time, im about 24 i think i have you beat ." She said with a soft laugh
Nich nodded and laughed as well before yawning. This day had been pretty tiring, what with being caught in a trap, meeting a wolf pack, and having to help Finn out of a pit. "How big is your territory?"
"Ah..well it leads up into those mountains in the north we go there mostly when it's colder hunters come into this area more during winter. "
He nodded again, hoping Ember would slow down a little. His prosthetics made it a little harder to get around that quickly. "That makes sense… do hunters come into your territory often?"
Ember eventually mad her way to the northern trail of the territory and sat down "eh mostly just during the winter because of our fur."
"Ah… that's not legal though, is it? I didn't think people were allowed to hunt wolves for their pelts usually. I guess there's permits and stuff…" He hummed thoughtfully.
"you think the law cares about us? We aren't just wolves we're werewolves they kill us for sport half the time they parade around in our skin as if ti say we are nothing but animals to the slaughter but their wrong."
"Yeah, I suppose so." Nich sighed softly. "I'm lucky my kind is a little less widely known, but people aren't fond of shifters in general. I mean, I like to think I'm pretty civilized, but that doesn't matter to them. I'm still an animal."
"Yeah well let's just say you're not missing anything fun or nothing. Im glad you're kind doesn't have to Deal with the hunters as much. "
