He downed the glass with her. He shook his head with a grinning face. "I am very happy, my friend." He spotted someone across the room, alone looking sad, so he felt it was his responsibility to cheer her up a bit. Luca smirked and tapped Rachel's shoulder. "I'm going to go over there and see if I can brighten that girl's mood a bit, but I will be back and we will do awesome things together." Luca jogged over to the girl, but halfway through he started to feel the effects of the vodka he drank. His limbs started to sow and his walk became lazy. He still managed to hold a conversation with the girl even though the make-out session started sooner rather than later.
(Do you think you could have an npc guy go over to rachel in next post?)
(Yeah, of course, I feel like I know where your going with this lol)
(Lol I dunno where am I going with this?)
(Oh oop guess we'll have to see lol)
(Lol I meant what do you think but yeah ig we will see.)
"Well glad one of us is happy." She commented, noticing his dopey grin.
She looked back over at him as she felt the tap on her shoulder.
She looked over and saw the girl standing alone, before he said he was gonna go over there and comfort her.
"Uh huh, sure you will." She sighed, she looked away for a few seconds before she looked back over.
She knew it would happen eventually but she was hoping it wouldn't be so soon.
She was wrong of course.
Life hated her, why would it do this for her?
She scowled at the two making out before she glared at the floor.
She made her way over to a bar like area just moving to sit down somewhere.
I should just leave..he's gonna probably be on her for a while, and then move onto the next girl. He wouldn't care that much if I left…
She rubbed her face as she sat down.
There was a guy a seat away from Rachel. He looked reasonably decent with his leather jacket on and plain-looking outfit. He was drinking bourbon when he noticed Rachel's frustration as she sat down. "Let me guess. Guy brought you to a party, a boyfriend from how you're dressed. Then he ditched you for another; however, he said he would be back. I'm guessing he hasn't come back yet?" He finished his bourbon and turned his hair towards Rachel. "Hey, my name is David. Nice to meet you." He slides the cup down the bar asking for two more from the bartender. Even though the bartender was one of the party host's friends, he was still valid. "I hope you like bourbon. I know you'll like it."
(David seems solid, is he secretly bad?)
(mmmm, maybe, maybe not, I haven't decided….hehehe)
(pfft luca gets jealous because shes hanging out with david-)
(But there’s also the fact that he’s drunk he thinks that she is someone else entirely I’m so mean)
(Lol yeah, what if David and rachel hung out after the party tho? 👁👁)

She immediately tensed up as she noticed the guy, David he called himself. She let out a sigh as she set her face in her hands, it wouldn't hurt too much to pass the time with talking.
"More like he's making out with someone else without a care in the world." She sighed, looking down at the counter. She didn't know why that made her so upset. She was well aware this was going to happen. It always happened, so why did this time sting more then every other time before now.
"We aren't dating, he would rather date every other girl under the sun then me.' She muttered frustratedly, though she couldn't help feel hurt by the reality of that statement.
She rubbed her face with a sigh,
"bourbon? I guess I might as well. I don't have anything better to do since he's my ride.'" She glanced over to see if they were still lip locking.
(Hola, lol, sorry)
He looked at the couple who seemed to be getting into it, wasting no time—with his hand around the girl's, pulling her closer by the second. David scoffed. "So you came together, yet, you aren't dating. That is a red flag, my friend." He slid her the drink swiftly with a wink. "Of course, I assume you know him much better than I do." He sipped at his burden, already having one too many of them. "However, let's stop talking about him and start talking about you, Mrs. Camo." He smirked. "What's your name?"
Meanwhile, David was flirting with Rachel. Luca glanced over, seeing the two casually talk. Something about that made him feel weird. It made his throat go dry even though there was someone he was kissing. However, they sucked at it. He plaid it off and said that he would get her a drink and hopefully would never have to come back. He was confident that even Rachel was a better kisser than that girl was. Luca snuck away and leaned against a nearby wall to oversee the two. He snatched a drink from someone else's hand; he wasn't drunk enough to go and talk to her yet.
She sighed, only seemingly more deflated as she watched them get more developed in the kissing session. She quickly moved to look away, not wanting to see anymore of it.
It would only make her feel worse then she already did.
It already made her want to leave.
She saw him slide her the bourbon but ignored the wink.
She wasn't in the mood for a flirt right now.
She grabbed the cup of bourbon and stared at it.
She didn't like drinking, but she needed to get her mind away, so she took a drink of it and set it down.
"My name? Hm, fine. it's Rachel. Now tell me your name." She spoke firmly, she had a decent alcohol tolerance. She got it from her dads side of the family.
She didn't bother checking if he left that girl or not, so she just didn't notice him watching them.
Though she did feel a pair of eyes.
"I already did, silly. David? Is that alcohol getting to you already?" He shook his head, taking another sip of his drink. "Rachel, huh…." He thought for a moment. "Pretty name for a pretty woman." David could see the same guy they talked about glaring at him from the corner like he did something wrong. He quickly looked away, keeping his eyes on Rachel. "So, how come you're at party. You don't seem like the type to drink. I mean, that's all anyone ever comes in here to do." He chuckled, running a hand through his black wavy hair.
(I totally forgot he already introduced himself akdkdkrm)
"No, it isn't. I just forgot." She let out a huff in his direction, a little annoyed at his statement.
"I actually have a decent tolerance for alcohol thank you." She spoke, though she had no idea why she felt the need to prove herself to the guy infront of her.
She noticed the girl standing alone and figured he must have moved onto to some other girl.
poor girl dosent know he's not coming back.
"More like generic. Also, you do realize your flirting isn't going to get you anywhere. Many guys have flirted with me, and usually I end up flipping them onto a table because they can't take a hint."
She took another drink of bourbon, a bigger one this time.
She sighed, looking down at her glass.
"I only came here because my best friend dragged my here promising it would be fun. I can't find it in myself to say no to him unfortunately. I don't usually drink either, just, want to forget something I guess."
She muttered the last part as she took another drink of her glass.
"I was going to say it's generic, but I'd rather not have my spine broken within two minutes of meeting someone who seems like a decent human being. However, regardless, every name is unique to the person, and you pul of the name Rachel very well. Who said anything about flirting? Can't a guy compliment a girl. Surely, your guy friend gave you one when you dressed so nicely tonight. Is that considered flirting as well? If he didn't compliment you, then he's a dick." He finished his drink, letting it sit there on the counter. "Drinking to forget, huh. I guess that is a conversation for next time we meet." He shrugged and bumped Rachel's shoulder playfully. It was a very light tap.
She lifted a brow at him as he spoke, "wise decision, I would hate to already be beating the crap out of someone this early." She was only half joking, she would beat him.up if deemed necessary.
"Fine, I'll give you that one. However I don't think a wink is a compliment, seems more like a flirtatious gesture to me."
She downed the rest of her bourbon, moving to set the glass down and wiped her mouth.
"Yeah, if we meet again that is." She didn't mind the shoulder bump all that much, she didn't know if she was relaxed more because of the alcohol or what. She just continued to look at him.
