(Nuuuuuuu Mir!!!)
(Nuuuuuuu Mir!!!)
(evil cackling)
At that, Dali lurched out of his chair, falling to the floor as well, but he was at least conscious. He pulled himself to where Mir had fallen, picking up his head and inspecting it for any bruisings. After he was sure there wasn't any, he set the head in his lap and leaned over it. "Hey, Hey, Mir. Hey, wake up. It's just me."
(NUUUU)
Corbin had turned, about to agree with the man sitting down- Corbin had planned to do so himself so they could talk over the details of their arrangement. He gasped a bit when the taller man collapsed, already making his way over. He was startled when the other moved to join him. Corbin knelt down, looking up at the conscious man.
"Here, let me take him to the bed," he said softly, not moving to try to take the unconscious man from his lap just yet.
Mir just whimpered softly when he was moved, too tired to wake up just yet. He whined at the voices intruding into his head as he drifted between consciousness and black out.
"Touch him and I will bite your fingers off." Dali hissed, baring his teeth. His words greatly opposed his actions which were gently running his fingers through Mir's hair and the somewhat gentle look in his eyes. His posture, of course, was stiff with a threat but, other than that.
"Please," Corbin said softly. "He obviously needs rest, more than just what he might get from blacking out. If we take him to the bed, he can get that." Still Corbin kept his distance. He was concerned- who couldn't with this sweet man?- but he wasn't going to force the two to do anything. Just like he had said before.
Mir whined as his eyes slowly opened, slurring out, “Daliiii…. be niccccceee…..” he had only caught Dali’s last sentence and just lay there unmoving, unable to muster the energy himself as his eyes fluttered closed at the touch in his hair. He whimpered as his bad arm dragged lightly on the ground, his pain getting worse.
(Mir is just a sweetheart caught between two concerned men, where there’s hate on one side and caution on the other.)
(Yeahh… Corbin just wants everyone to be okay and Dali just hates his guts because of the war, even though Corbin is seeking their help to end it TToTT)
(And all Mir wants to do is makes sure nobody gets hurt. Lol. I’m very glad I made part of his backstory include an apothecary. He’ll probably try to make a makeshift one where he can experiment with herbs in a corner of his bedroom.)
(Oooo, that'll be pretty cool! Corbin so supportive of him)
(Lol, awwwwww!!)
Corbin looked up at the man. Dali? Probably a nickname.
"Please, it'll be better for him on the bed. I won't come near either of you again aftwards, I swear. Please…" Corbin had his hands folded in his lap, looking down at the man with the white hair.
Dali narrowed his eyes and stood on shaky legs, trying to pull Mir up. He didn't succeed and tumbled down himself. He let an agitated snort of air come from his nostrils before he tried again, failing of course. He eventually just looked down to Mir's head and asked. "Hey, is it alright if… The king helps you up to the bed? You're gonna sleep for a bit."
Corbin almost shot up to help the man when he fell, but he held himself back. He didn't want the man hurting himself trying to get away from his touch. He kept in his place, watching with concern and obvious worry for both of the men's health.
Mir slowly nodded, “That sounds nice…. maybe I’m tired enough that the night terrors won’t happen….” He sighed softly. “And Your Majesty, you don’t need to distance yourself from me at least… I cannot speak for Dalimil though….”
(Sorry, guys, I got called away for a little while.)
(It's okie!)
Corbin nodded a bit in turn at the man spoke. Ah, so that was the… aggressive man's full name then, good to know. Corbin reached out, simply pulling the white haired man up into his arms. He cradled the man close to his chest, touch gentle as he began to carry the man over to the bed.
(Squeals they're all so adorable!!!)
Dragomir sighed softly as he was picked up, instinctively leaning into the king’s touch. He relaxed at how gentle the king was being with him, his eyes slowly drooping closed at the rocking gait.
Corbin smiled just a touch when he felt the man relax into him. He moved to the bed, his own, and laid the man down. He helped the man lay down, ensuring his arm was in a comfortable position. He didn't care about what state the man was in with his cleanliness- all he did care for was making sure the man was okay.
"The doctor will be up soon," he said, addressing both men.
"Try to get some rest," he said softly to the man on his bed.
Dali nodded in approval as he saw how gentle the king was before staggering over to the chair to sit down again, letting out a very faint curse in a different language as he sat down. His leg had twisted a weird way and it just hurt a bit.
Mir nodded quietly, his eyes slipping closed. He and Dali were decently clean as Mir knew the health hazards that came with being dirty, especially in an establishment such as a tavern. He could thank his father and his military first-aid training for that. So he didn’t quite worry about dirtying the bed. All he cared about was trying to sleep and- he opened his eyes again quickly, remembering how bad his night terrors were and not wanting to go to sleep. He just watched the king and Dali with bleary eyes, waiting for the king to begin discussing their future in the court before the doctor came.
Corbin grabbed a chair, going to sit by the bed near the white haired man's side. He looked up when Dalimil cursed, his grip on his chair tightening as he kept himself from getting up.
"So… I suppose it's time to actually talk about your jobs, then," he said with his soft, withdrawn voice.
"The first thing I'm going to make very clear is I'm never going to ask either of you to actually perform the more personal obligations of a concubine."
