Seren took it, mumbling a “Thank you” in between sneezes. Arkyn watched over the small boy like a hawk as he began to sniff the paste, nodding in approval as he slowly stopted sniffling.

Myra, the always open introvert she is asked them "Hey! We're going to the armory next, do you want to come with us?" She smiled wide.

Deleted user

Both boys looked to Arkyn, who tentatively nodded. “I don’t see why not.” She decided. “Thank you.”

Deleted user

"No problem! By the way, don't mind Ryder! He can be a real dick at times." Myra said, the word sounding strange coming out of a kid who looked eight or nine's mouth.

Arkyn’s eyes widened in surprise, but Seren burst out laughing, almost dropping the potion he was holding under his nose. “Glad you find it funny, Ser.” Jasper walked over, ruffling his little brother’s hair.

Ryder rolled his eyes. "And don't mind Myra, she's a little snake who uses her appearance to get what she wants." He said. "It's not my fault I look eight or nine!" Myra defended.

Deleted user

Jasper laughed, grinning widely. “How old are you guys anyways?”

Deleted user

"I'm twenty three." River signed, Ryder translating. "They're twenty-three, I'm twenty and Myra is thirteen."

Deleted user

Jasper nodded. “Sixteen.” He pointed to himself. “Thirteen.” He pointed to Seren. “Twenty-one.” He pointed to Arkyn.

Deleted user

"Cool! Do you guys use any weapons?" Myra asked, eyes bright with intrest. She really does look younger than she is.

Deleted user

“No, not quite.” Arkyn smiled. “We’re a peaceful family.” Jasper scoffed in disbelief at her words, while Seren rolled his eyes.

Deleted user

Myra laughed. "That's funny! I don't have magic, but I do know how to read people!" She exclaimed, Ryder rolling his eyes at this comment. It was true, Myra was quite good at reading people.

Deleted user

Seren’s face lit up. “You don’t have magic either?”

Deleted user

"Nah! The only reason I'm here is because River's a teaching assistant and our family is of demonic descent! I didn't get any demoney stuff, that all went to my older siblings!" Myra sprung up.

Deleted user

“We're half elves.” Jasper’s pointy ears twitched as he grinned. “Our mom was a fire witch. But only Arkyn got that.”

Deleted user

"Oh. Elves are fun." Ryder said, his blank expression not wavering for a second. "Ryder! Don't be an asshole!" Myra exclaimed, hitting him lightly on the head.

Deleted user

Seren’s pointy ears flattened, taking Ryder’s words to seriously. Arkyn pulled her brother close to console him, giving Ryder a dirty look.

Deleted user

"I'm sorry for him, he'd much rather be doing anything but be here." River signed to Seren. "Hell yeah, I'd rather be anywhere but here. You've all gotten boring fast." He retorted, Myra smacking him again.

Deleted user

“Being bored isn’t a permission slip for acting out.” Arkyn glared at him, her fists clenched.

Deleted user

"Wasn't acting out, I was simply stating that being half-elves are cool," Ryder said, adding an asshole in a demonic language. "You take that back, don't be a bitch-faced tit." River said, joining Myra in smacking him on the head.

Seren laughed at the insult River used, a small smile forming on his face. Arkyn eyed Ryder mistrustfully. “You all seem nice, but maybe it’s for the bets that we separate.”

Deleted user

"You do you, I definitely don't want to interact with you. You seem bossy and conceited." Ryder said to Arkyn. "And your name sucks." He added, River giving a silent laugh.

Deleted user

Arkyn rolled her eyes. “Come on you two.” She began to usher her brothers out of the room quickly.

Deleted user

Myra gave out a loud laugh, not even trying to stifle it. "Wow Ryder, real original. Oh, your name sucks." Myra mocked him, River patting his back with a smile.

Arkyn sighed as she got the boys into the hallway. “Rude.” She huffed, guiding them away. “I hope we don’t get stuck with him too often.”
