Lucas waited a second, listening to the music before he started playing. His fingers flew across the strings and he tapped his foot to keep the rhythm. Turning to Kasper, he nodded for him to begin.
Lucas waited a second, listening to the music before he started playing. His fingers flew across the strings and he tapped his foot to keep the rhythm. Turning to Kasper, he nodded for him to begin.
And so Kasper did. It started out simple, an easy beat. Increasing the power, the rythm started forming around the music.
Carmen looked at him, smiling as she picked up the pace herself, mind going crazy.
Kasper really enjoyed playing with them. He liked the way he had control over the drums and the pace, but how it at the same time felt like total chaos. And when he saw Carmen's smile… his mind and perhaps also his heart acted pretty much the same way.
((AAAAAAAAA WHAT A DORK))
She was hopping around and making up half baked lyrics with the same energy of finalized lyrics.
Kasper eased the drums a bit, letting her lyrics and Lucas's base come through. He smiled.
Lucas nodded, impressed by Kasper on the drums and Carmen’s lyrics. He turned up the speakers and jammed out.
Keeping the beat simple, Kasper kept playing. It came easy for him, much easier than the harps and violins from heaven. The hard sound of the drums filled his mind as he closed his eyes for a second. He barely had to look.
(Is this stone dead or do ya'll want to continue?)
((Kinda wanna continue, but Idk if anyone else does))
(I wanna continue)
(I wanna continue I was waiting and then I forgot.)
((Okay then!!))
(So… they're playing a song. Should we just end the song?)
((Sure))
Carmen grinned as the song ended, catching her breath. "I think we've got something!"
"Hell yeah!" Lucas clapped Kasper on the back. "I approve. Kasper you're in the band and you have no say in this. When's our next event because that would be perfect."
Kasper smiled a bit. "Yeah. We really have something here." He was talking about the song, obviously. Him glancing shyly at Carmen while saying it had nothing to do with it at all. Nope. Nothing. "And thank you, Lucas, for that… open… invitation. I'll gladly accept."
That look. Lucas knew that look. He was a demon after all and he knew lust when he saw it. "How 'bout I go check the schedule and you two can chat about…whatever." He rustled Kasper's hair and left the room.
Carmen smiled. "I'm gonna try to finalize some lyrics tonight, and I'll bring them in next time." Carmen said, still a bit excitable. "Are you sure you haven't done anything with percussion? Because our last drummer had been playing since he was a kid, and you're loads better than him!"
"Thanks." Kasper looked down, blushing slightly. "And yes, I am sure. I guess I am… heavenly talented." He smirked a bit. "I look forward to seeing those lyrics."
"Good, cause I'm pretty sure I have about half of them-" She said, running for her notebook. "Hold on-"
"Oh, cool." Kasper wasn't sure of what to say while he waited, so he just sat there, nervously fidgetting with his sleeves.
