"I, um…" Kasper just stared at the interaction between the mortals. It was so… aggressive, but still friendly. It was absolutely fascinating. But then there was also that other thing. "I'm sorry, but did you just set your hand on fire? I don't think humans are supposed to do that," he said, like a dumbass.
Carmen laughed. "Oh, honey, I'n not much of a human, I'm a witch."
"Yeah, dumbass." Lucas facepalmed. "None of us are human, and neither are you. What kind of lame angel are you that you can't recognize a demon on sight. Hot damn no wonder they kicked you out of heaven." Lucas looked up and his eyes were completely black. He blinked and they were back to purple.
Carmen decided to not mention that she hadn't realized he wasn't human. "Lucas! Don't be rude!" She scolded, swatting him on the arm.
"I'm a freaking demon. I was literally raised in hell. Fun fact, they don't teach manners down there." He crossed his arms sassily. "But seriously what are you doing down here? I thought that angels were much too good to hang out with all of us on earth."
Carmen sighed, putting the stub of her cigarette out on the bottom of her combat boots. "I taught you better than this, Lucas."
((Carmen is mom friend confirmed.))
Kasper blinked. "I, um, I wasn't really kicked out." He was still a bit confused. "I… got bored."
"They just let you walk out? I don't believe those control freaks would ever let one of their precious slaves leave because they were bored." Lucas scooted around Kasper. "Nah, not fallen. You still have your wings. So what's up?"
Carmen watched the exchange, trying to tune her guitar.
Kasper tilted his head. "They didn't exactly let me walk out of there. It was more like… well, God literally yeeted me out. As you said, they are control freaks." He smirked a bit. "One simple sin, and you're kicked out, head first." He folded his wings. "I'm not sure why they let me keep my wings, though. I guess they are expecting me to beg them to get back in or something. Or maybe my sin was too mild to take them."
“Ooh. Finally an interesting one. What sin was worth getting kicked out of the big house?”
"Barely anything, really." Kasper laughed. "Let's just say that I got really pissed at God for something, and, well, some swear words might have been involved. I might have called his Mighty Annoyance some rather unpleasing nicknames. Details are not neccessary." He grinned mischievously, a tiny spark in his blue eyes.
“I’m surprised you even know any ‘unpleasant nicknames’.” Lucas ruffled Kasper’s hair. “You sounds like you don’t plan to go back anytime soon. What’s your plan for earth?”
Carmen chuckled slightly, adjusting the guitar's strap.
"I have no idea, honestly," Kasper said. "Basicly, I need to find a place to stay. And I would really like to find a way to get rid of these." He pointed to his wings. "They are kinda in the way of everything."
“So true.” Lucas agreed. “As for finding you a place…that might be more complicated.”
"Yeah." Kasper gave him a smile that was half an actual smile and half a grimace. "But for now… drums. Carmen said that you needed a drummer. I have actually never tried, but apparently," he looked at her, "Carmen wanted me to come anyways. Do I guess I should try?"
“Yeah, knock yourself out.” Lucas gestures to the drum set. “I’m not surprised you’ve never played the drums. I imagine they don’t allow rock and roll up in heaven. Just try to tap something out and we’ll fill in the gaps.” He quickly tuned his bass.
Carmen get herself into position with her guitar, smiling excitingly. "Ready?"
“Hell yeah. You ready angel?”
"Bring it on, Demon Boy." Kasper smiled, sitting down by the drums. "I'll let ya'll start playing and then I'll join ya, does that sound okay?"
(Just remembered that the drummer usually starts the band off but oh well)
((To be fair, he isn't used to this))
"Sure." Carmen said, playing out a few cords.
((True.))
Kasper listened to the tune she was playing, looking at her. She was actually really pretty.
She smiled as she played, bouncing on the balls of her feet.
