Heya
Well hello
What genres do ya usually write?
Urban fantasy, realistic dramatic fiction, stuff like that
Cool. I usually write romance and sometimes fantasy…
Cool!!
So… you have any ideas for a prompt? My mind is blank right now…
Some magical runaways meet in the city and fall in love? Idk man
Seems good. Should I make a template or should we just throw our characters into it?
It's up to you, honestly. I'm good with anything.
Well… I'm lazy. Let's just get into it. I'll write a starter then, gimme a minute.
Okay!
Walking around a city with wings was… annoying. Although they were magically hidden from the vision of mortals, his wings were still in the way as Kasper walked into the coffee shop. Luckily, clothes did not affect them. The wings just went straight through his leather jacket as he placed it on an empty seat, as if the leather hadn't even existed. Walking up to the barista, Kasper looked around him. He was new to this entire earth-with-mortals thing. Heaven was… well, just slighty different. Very different, to be honest.
(Idk what you want your character to be but mine's an angel and he's around 17-19 something I think)
Carmen sat in the corner of the coffee shop, guitar case and a small amp at her feet as she sipped carefully at her coffee. She hummed softly to herself, looking down at the open notebook in her lap. She chewed her lip, rubbing at her tired brown eyes and tucking a curly lock of brown hair from the not shaved side of her head. Her leather jacket squeaked slightly as she started writing, combat boot tapping against the floor. Only about two hours until practice.
((Mine is a fire-controlling witch that's about 17))
Kasper got his drink, a cup of plain black coffee. He liked to think that it was black like his soul, but truth being told he wasn't really like that. He sat down by his table, feeling a bit stupid as everyone else around him were having coffee together with someone; couples looking each other lovingly in the eyes, families with kids laughing, even an old lady with her son. The only lonely person he could see was a brown-haired girl in the corner of the shop. She was kinda pretty, and Kasper sneaked a glance at her. He had only been down here at earth for a short while. He wasn't really sure if making contact with a random stranger was something that humans usually did.
Carmen glanced up, looking out the window. She sighed softly, running a hand through her hair. She was getting absolute nowhere with this song.
Kasper started humming a soft tune, bored. He didn't really know where it came from, it just popped into his mind. Tapping his fingers at the table, he took a sip of his coffee.
Carmen sat quietly, hearing somebody humming something. Wait a moment…
(Hello….can I join?)
(Um… idk. What were you thinking that your role would be?)
(A supportive friend)
(Id like to join too. I already have a character in mind too. Lucas, demon. No idea how old he is but looks about 20-25.)
Getting really into the tune, Kasper kept humming. He loved the mortals's music, for some reason. The music in heaven was boring, it was all classic stuff, and God had forbidden anything that was even a tiny bit abnormal. And… well, you got tired of harps and violins after a while. Ugh.
