(You know what fluff is boring. Let’s make it angsty but not too angsty. Just have Autumn be shocked or smothn. Deal?)
Alex sat up a little, stretching. “Well, now that we don’t have much else to do, did you wanna see the rest of my humble abode?”
(That was the plan!)
Autumn nodded. "Sure. Though I wouldn't call it 'humble.'"
(Ooo I thought by angst you meant like, “You doN”T KNOW HOW I FEEL AUTUMN” type stuff.)
Alex laughed gently and stood up. “It’s something.”
(Lol. I just didn't know how to put it…)
"It is certainly something," Autumn agreed with a chuckle.
(Ya sounds good ^-^)
Alex stuck his hand out for her. “Let me show you my office, my true heart and soul.”
( ;P )
Autumn smiled and took his hand. "Lead on, then."
Alex lead her upstairs, humming gently. He approached the office door and opened it with a flourish.
“And here’s my- J?”
"What's–" Autumn stopped as she saw the scene before her. She blinked, her eyebrows furrowed as she cocked her head to the side in confusion. "Kayla?"
The younger girl pulled away with a gasp, staring at the ground sheepishly. She didn't feel like she was doing anything wrong –far from it, actually – it was just embarrassing to be caught kissing her sister's boyfriend's(?) band mate.
J reluctantly pulled away himself, glancing up at the pair with blush dancing on his face. “Hey guys! How’s it going?”
Alex rolled his eyes faintly. “You seem to be having a good time up here.”
"I'd have to agree with Alex," Autumn said, her voice holding a light laugh as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I mean, I figured this would happen eventually, but I didn't expect it to be so soon."
Alex looked at her. “I think you owe me a twenty, Autumn.”
J turned a darker shade of red. Alex alwayss did this crap when he— J— got with someone.
"Really, now? I think it's the other way around, rockstar," Autumn laughed.
Kayla shuffled her feet, still staring at them. Of course, her sister was making jokes. It was bound to happen…
“No! I betted that it’d take them less than an hour. You betted two. Gimme that money!”
J yearned to just slam the door in his bandmate’s face. He just wanted to continue kissing this amazing woman next to him…
"Are you kidding me? I'm not paying you," Autumn scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I totally wasn't serious when I made that bet. And we didn't even shake on it!"
Alex huffed. “It would’ve been genuine if I lost.” He chuckled cheerfully. “No matter.”
Autumn rolled her eyes and poked him in the side. "You probably would have given me the money, too."
Alex rolled his eyes. “Of course I would’ve. I’m honorable like that.” He beamed jokingly and poked her back.
Autumn squirmed when he poked her and took a step away, sticking her tongue out at him.
Kayla rolled her eyes at the pair, clearing her throat.
Alex stuck his tongue out at her in response, taking no notice at Kayla’s attempt to capture his attention again.
Autumn scrunched her nose up at him and crossed her eyes.
"Hey, lovebirds," Kayla called.
Alex imitated her, yet hunched over as if giving the effect of being hunchbacked.
J rolled his eyes. “Do you want to go somewhere else, Kayla?”
"Please," Kayla sighed, blushing as she rolled her eyes and slipped her hand into his. "Maybe these two would like to use this room."
Autumn raised an eyebrow at her sister, though she was blushing as well, having caught her meaning.
Alex grinned sheepishly. He stepped out of J and Kayla’s way with an exasperated huff.
“You two can go do that in the basement.”
Kayla perked over at J out of the corner of her eye. Would he want to…?
Autumn chuckled a bit at the suggestion, also stepping out of the way.
J smiled at her. “Shall we?” He started to walk.
Alex shook his head, feeling distinct jealousy.
