“It’s… different… I like the fans, all Rockheads are really cool.” He sat down next to her.

"Yeah? I bet they're great," Autumn said with a smile. "Like that story about the girl you told me."

“She was so sweet.” He smiled gently in his memory. “Her dad was a fan too, they’re going to good places.”

"I bet that was really amazing. Fans like that are the best," Autumn said. She bit her cheek as she realized what she'd let slip.

“You have fans too?” Alex asked her curiously, gazing at her thoughtfully. “So you’re an artist of some kind?”

Autumn blinked a couple of times before nodding slowly.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that…"

“Oooh pleaase tell me!” Alex gave into his curiosity.

"I– I can't… Sorry…" Autumn said, grimacing.

“Please?!” He squeaked child-like. If she said no this time, he’d drop it.

"I, um… I don't know…" Autumn sighed. If she told him, he might tell other people, and then her cover wound be blown.

“I won’t tell anyone else,” He vowed, as though he could read her mind. “If you don’t tell anyone about me, that is.”

"I'm… an actress…" Autumn finally said quietly, biting the inside of her cheek.

Alex grinned. “Cool. I don’t watch a lot of movies, but they’ve been getting good.”

"Yeah, it's fun to see myself onscreen sometimes," Autumn laughed, hiding her nervousness. He hadn't asked what she'd been in, so far, and she didn't know what she'd say if he did…

Alex decided to let her have her privacy. “Cool! It sounds like a lot of fun.” He smiled warmly; She’ll tell me with time…

"And the accommodations aren't so bad, either. Especially if it's a movie with a high budget," Autumn said with a smile.

Alex hummed with interest. “I bet. Acting seems really hard…”

Autumn shrugged. "It's harder if you have to learn it than if you're born with it. I was born with the talent, so it wasn't hard."

Alex nodded. “Makes sense. Kind of like writing or drawing. You’re just born into it, or have that love for it…”

"Or both," Autumn laughed. "Personally, I love what I do."

Alex laughed. “That’s always really cool. I’m glad, it sounds really fun!”

"Yeah. Hey, maybe you could audition for a musical or something!" Autumn suggested, only half joking.

Alex snorted. “I can’t act to save my life. I would if I could.”

Autumn clicked her tongue.

"Darn. It would have been interesting to see you trying to. Do you do any music videos?"

Alex frowned. “I know there’s some on youtube, but they’re really bad.”
