Alex arrived at the couch and plopped down on it, with her in his arms. “Here we are~”

"Hm, good. Now we can cuddle," Autumn said as she wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his shoulder.

“You guys ready to go?” Autumn called, standing by the door with her purse hanging from her arm.

Alex snagged his wallet and keys, as Jilly put on a pair of boots that Alex found.
Jilly looked up and shuffled over, smiling shyly. “Yes. I’m ready to go.”
Alex fit on his shoes and bounded over, smiling.

“All righty, then. Babe, were you going to drive?” Autumn asked, pecking him on the lips quickly.

Alex pecked her in return, nodding. “Yep! I was thinking you’d stay in the back with her again.”

“Sounds good to me,” Autumn said with a smile before she turned to Jillian. “Is that good with you?”

Jilly looked up at her and nodded. “Uhuh. Sounds good.” She smiled hesitantly.

“Cool. Let’s go, then!” Autumn said, grinning as she opened the door. “Jilly, do you have a place you like to shop?”

Jilly put her hands together and shuffled after Autumn. “Nu uh. Mommy took me to many places.”

“Hm… We could start with Target, then,” Autumn mused.

Alex clapped his hands together. “Target it is!”

Autumn chuckled and kissed his cheek before climbing into the car. "And after that, we can go to Kohl's."

Alex popped into the back seat, smiling. “Target then Khol’s. Got it!”

"And then… We should probably see what time it is after that. We might have to get lunch," Autumn mused as she buckled in.

Alex nodded as he started up his car. “Lunch. Where?”

"Hm… Should we go to a sit-down place or fast food?" Autumn wondered. "Jilly, where would you like to go?"

Jilly looked up just as Autumn spoke to her. “O-oh. I don’t care.” She shrugged.

"Hm, okay… What about… Outback. Have either of you ever been there?" Autumn asked.

Alex licked his lips. “Mmmm… steak…”
Jilly tilted her head. “No, no I haven’t.”
