Veronica leaned back on the couch, pulling Elaine with her so her crush was laying on top of her. I love her I love her I love her I love her so dang much- Veronica wrapped her arms around Elaine, trailing up and down her back.
Veronica leaned back on the couch, pulling Elaine with her so her crush was laying on top of her. I love her I love her I love her I love her so dang much- Veronica wrapped her arms around Elaine, trailing up and down her back.
Elaine let out a tiny gasp, eyes flying open and meeting Veronica’s. Her heartbeat was so loud that she was sure Veronica could hear it, but her mouth was so soft, so warm— it was killing every single thought in her head except for the name of the girl she was lying on top of. “Veronica—“ She couldn’t choke out anything else. All she was capable of doing was pressing her lips harder against the other girl’s.
Veronica kept running her hands through Elaine soft hair. A whole symphony of music could’ve been playing in the background, Veronica wouldn’t have noticed. The only thing she knew was the girl she was kissing, the girl that made her forget everything else in the world. Elaine, Elaine, Elaine, Elaine. She kissed her back with equal passion and love, but managed to reign in the moan that almost came out of her mouth.
Elaine squeezed her eyes shut, thumbs pushed into Veronica’s hair, fingers gently caressing her cheeks. Their mouths moved in perfect harmony against eachother, she was already growing addicted to the feeling. Breathless, she pulled away just enough for their noses to touch and opened her eyes. Her chest was heaving, her hair fell in front of her face and down, obscuring both of them from view like a curtain. “Veronica…..” Elaine’s fingers traced words on the other girl’s neck.
“Elaine…” She echoed, tilting her head back to expose her neck a bit more. She loved her. It was dang clear, Veronica loved Elaine. She couldn’t even remember why had it had been unclear before.
Accompanied by a rush of tangled feelings, Elaine pressed a firm kiss to Veronica’s mouth again. When she pulled away, her eyes were traveling slowly over her crush’s— could she even be called a crush? The feelings for her ran deeper than that— perfect features. “I didn’t know you liked girls…” she whispered, fingers pressing lightly into the other girl’s neck.
“I didn’t think I did either… At least for a while… And then I met you and started getting confused.” Veronica let out a soft laugh, looking at Elaine through her lashes. Gosh she’s really beautiful… And I just kissed her.
Elaine’s cheeks heated up from the look Veronica was giving her. “I— I’m glad we have that sorted out, then.” She inhaled, kissing a point on Veronica’s lower cheek, close to her jawline. She couldn’t stand looking at her face all at once, it was going to kill her— that’s how beautiful she was— she had to take Veronica in one part at a time. “God… you’re gorgeous. And amazing. And—“
“You’re the perfect one,” Veronica told her as she craned her head up to kiss Elaine again. Gosh her lips are so soft… “I love you…” She brought a hand to caress Elaine’s soft face lovingly.
Everything about Elaine fluttered when Veronica stroked her cheek; her heart, the butterflies in her stomach. Even her hands, cupping the latter’s face, trembled. “I- I love you too,” she whispered, leaning into the touch.
Veronica could barely think, there was only Elaine’s soft touch on her skin. I shouldn’t be doing this… but… “My dad’s a homophobe,” Veronica blurted quietly, “I- We can’t -er- be together in front of him. And probably keeping it a secret from my mother would be a good idea too.”
Elaine nodded quickly. "I get it– and mine are the same–" She took a deep, quavering breath. "My mom caught me, last year, kissing a girl. That's– that's why she hates me. They think I'm unnatural or some sort of punishment– there's no way I could ever tell them— this."
Veronica’s eyes darkened slightly, and she found herself disliking Elaine’s mother even more, but she moved to gently kiss her forehead, whispering, “We’ll make it work then.”
Elaine nodded with a smile, about to respond, but the sound of a key in a lock made her heart freeze. Her dad was home.
Immediately, she was up and off of Veronica, smoothing out her hair and the blankets strewn over the couch.
Veronica tensed little, but caught on and immediately sat up then started smoothing out her own hair and straightening her shirt. She grabbed the half-eaten bowl of melted ice cream and tried to make it look as if they were just friends, just two people hanging out. And sharing ice cream together.
Elaine had just finished pinning her hair back up when her dad appeared at the foot of the stairs. Her mind instantly defaulted to lying and acting mode, so she gave him a convincing and welcoming smile. "Hey, dad. This is Veronica, she's staying over tonight."
Her father pinned her down with a long look, before sighing. "Alright. I'll be upstairs working." And he was gone.
Veronica raised her eyebrows after Elaine’s father had turned around and walked away then said quietly, “Geez they’re terrible…” She pulled Elaine into a hug, frowning at how bad of parents Elaine had. “Literally though…” Veronica sighed, glaring at the staircase from which Elaine’s father had left.
Elaine only shrugged. "To them, I might as well be the follower of the Devil. I'm used to it." She forced a grin onto her face, which soon became a real one when she looked up at Veronica and pinned her back down on he couch. "Where were we?"
Veronica smirked a little bit, “I really don’t remember, I think you’ll just have to remind me.” She savored the warmth coming from Elaine, reaching her arms up and wrapping them lazily at Elaine’s waist.
Elaine's whole body tingled, acutely aware of Veronica's arms around her waist, and she marvelled at how quickly things had changed between them. I have Veronica, Veronica pinned down on the couch while she flirts with me. Oh my god. She smirked back, leaning in just enough to trail her lips ever so slightly over the beautiful girl beneath her. "Is this enough yet?" It was clearly a teasing question; their lips were barely touching.
“Maybe… You know I have a bad memory,” Veronica purred as she stroked a finger up and down Elaine’s back. She couldn’t believe she was here. She couldn’t believe how alive she felt, being able to show this side of her and not conform to society and her parents’s judgements.
Elaine was lost in a world of Veronica's eyes, her trailing hands, and absolutely addicting ecstasy. She leaned in closer, but barely, mouth brushing up against the other girl's lightly. "I'll remind you… if you make me, that is." Daring the other girl to kiss her first, just to see what would happen, she let herself revel in the fact that she was kissing a girl in her parents' house without them knowing a thing.
Veronica couldn’t hold herself back any longer, crashing her lips into Elaine’s passionately. Gosh she tastes so dang good- Veronica didn’t think she could stop. Didn’t think she’d ever stop.
Fire ripped through every molecule of Elaine’s body, disabling every single ability she had in her except that of kissing Veronica back. She stretched each fleeting moment out, the seconds feeling like hours, whatever tiny shreds left of her self control gone. Veronica’s lips felt like heaven against hers. They tasted like chocolate and caramel and all things sweet and addicting. She didn’t think she would ever stop.
Veronica forced herself to pull away for a moment, looking into Elaine’s perfect brown eyes and smiling a little, “I never imagined I’d be here with you like this.” Her eyes glanced down to Elaine’s full lips, a temptation within itself again. She reached a hand up to Elaine’s face and traced her finger over those perfect soft lips.
