(wut?)
(The party can be at the Bourgeois house and, since Style Queen already happened, Audrey Bourgeois can go off on Nathalie for the whole “front row seat thing” and Gabriel can step in and defend her. Then they could leave the party and go do stuff in town!)
(yes!!! yes i like that idea!)
"I wasn't thinking about a restaurant, I was possibly think of going the Bourgeois party, they invited me over for a little get to gather as thanks for the fashion show, they said I could bring a plus one. I don't think Adrien would like going, so I thought you might want to go. Of course we can always go to a restaurant if you wish." He stood in front of his desk and waited for her reply
Nathalie froze for a second. Bourgeois. In the back of her mind, the voice of Audrey Bourgeois taunted her.
Nathalie walked up to Audrey Bourgeois, leading Marinette Dupain-Chang. “Mrs Bourgeois. Mr Agreste has reserved a seat for you.”
Audrey Bourgeois stood up. “Ah, finally.”
“In the second row,” Nathalie finished.
“What?!” Audrey cried, incredulous.
“My mother always sits in the front row,” Chloé Bourgeois demanded.
“Not today,” Nathalie replied firmly.
“This is unacceptable! Gabriel cannot do this to me! I'm the one who discovered him. Without me, he'd still be drawing his unworthy designs in his dismal, grim studio!” Audrey insulted.
“I can offer your seat to someone else if you don't want it,” Nathalie had replied.
“How dare you? You're fired!” Audrey ordered.
“I don't work for you, I work for Mr Agreste,” Nathalie retorted.
“We'll see about that!” Audrey whipped out her phone and dialed Nathalie’s boss.
Nathalie would never tell Gabriel, but she was afraid. She could felt her heart beat faster and faster with every ring until she heard-
“…please leave a message.”
Audrey Bourgeois growled angrily.
Nathalie was filled with a new confidence. “I assume from your expression that I'm not fired.”
Audrey would not have it. “This is unacceptable! I will not view a fashion show from the second row, EVER!” Audrey Bourgeois stormed off, followed closely by Chloé. Nathalie let out a deep breath that no one saw and gestures for Marinette to sit in her reserved seat.
Nathalie blinked away the memory quickly. “I don’t mind going to the Bourgeois party,” she replied to Gabriel smoothly, even adding a small smile.
(Yikes! Sorry, that was long!)
(its alright!)
He tilted her head up in acknowledgment. He knew why Audrey called, reason why he never answered. He hated other people thinking their better than everyone else just because of the power they held. "I'll make reservations as soon as possible." He walked out of he room to find the phone and dialed the number "yes? this is Mr Agrest, I'd like to make a reservation for two, the other person? you need not worry about that sir…mhm…mhm.. well if mrs Bourgeois has an issue with that then I simply won't come….thank very much sir."
Nathalie had heard. “Mr Agreste! What’s wrong? Sir, if I’m the problem, please go without me.”
(Please come baaaaaack)
"problem? Who said anything about a problem? I wouldnt want to go with anyone else Natalie." He looked at her reassuringly and went back to his desk "will you please bring me the black suit I have in my closet? I need to add something to it for tomorrow" he grabbed some supplies from the shelves around him
Nathalie briefly composed herself. "Yes, sir." She hurried off to get him his suit as quickly as possible. When she returned, she walked in calmly and held out the suit. "Your suit, sir."
"thank you, could you please set it on the table," he got some blue and read flowers from the garden and some shiny blue thread. He looked up at Natalie "I need you to stand" gently grabbing her shoulders and positioning her in front of his desk "right here for just a few minutes" he went back to his seat and started making adjustments to the suit, adding blue thread to the cuffs of the sleeve and black ribbon the edge of the thread. He made a simple boutenier out of the red and blue flowers and placed it in the pockets of the jacket. "Close your eyes and stat right there."
Nathalie did as she was told, trying to relax. She was nervous, but also excited. She could hear Mr. Agreste doing somethings, but she had no clue as to what.
He got out a large box from under his bed, containing a dress similar to the one sketched but was much more simpler. He walked back into the study and stood in front of Natalie "open your eyes" he pulled out the floor blue and red floor length dress.
Nathalie did. Her hands flew to her mouth and a muffled gasp escaped. Her hands lowered just slightly so she could talk. "Mr. Agreste…"
"it's for you, I thought you'd like to wear tomorrow," he handed her the dress "you can try it on now if you'd like, then I can make adjustments for tomorrow." I want to see you in that dress before anyone else does, so I can be the first to tell you just how beautiful I think you are
(It's about to get fluffy up in here)
(Whoop!)
Nathalie took the dress in amazement. "Of… Of course, Mr. Agreste," she said, holding the dress close to her as she went into the first-floor restroom to change. The dress fit her like a glove. When it went over her head, it caught for a split second on her bun, by chance catching the bobby pin that held it together. She didn't have time to put it back up again, so she let it be. Her hair framed her face nicely anyway, and it matched the dress. She took a deep breath and walked back into the study, blushing ever so slightly, very much unsure of what to say.
He turned and froze. She was magnificent. The dress hugged her body beautifully, with the inclusion of he long hair that only now has he seen worn down. "You look spectacular" he whispered "absolutely perfect" he want to pull away the hair covering her eyes, so as only to gaze into them forever, but resisted, knowing it would probably make her uncomfortable.
Nathalie blushed harder. "Thank you, sir," she replied, raising her eyes to meet his gaze. She played with a bracelet on her wrist that had never been noticeable before because of her uniform. It read, Enlevez le mauvais et le bon est tout ce qui reste.
(Put it into Google Translate if you don't know what it means. ;D)
(I'm going to make this into a fanfic and post it on Wattpad, is that cool with you?)
( ya that's fine! And I like the saying it's really pretty) he took a few steps closer and gently pushed aside a strand of hair that fell in her face, lightly brushing her cheek. He grabbed her hand, looking at the bracelet "absolutely beautiful" he said with a smile
(Thanks! I thought it would be perfect for Nathalie!)
"Thank you," she replied. It was a gentle whisper. She could feel her heart pounding and only prayed that Gabriel couldn’t.
(I really wanna rp on this… I'm sorry if I'm annoying to you, this is just my favorite rp that I'm in rn, so yeah ;D)
(it's alright! You have nothing to apologies for, I really like this rp too, and I'm sorry if I'm slow on answering, I'll try to answer more often when I'm not busy)
He held her hand for perhaps a minute too long and looked down at his watch, "my how time flies when your having fun, you should probably go pick up Adrien. The gala will be starting soon" he reluctantly letting go of her hand to get himself ready.
(Okay! I can usually stay up between 11 and 1 rping at night so, yeep!
Also, quick question. Is the Bourgeois party after the gala?)
(Yep it is)
(Okay, that's what I thought!)
Nathalie rushed off to change and she returned wearing her usual clothes with her hair back up again. She carefully draped the dress on her desk chair and hurried outside. She got in the back seat and was just in time to pick up Adrien.
"How was your movie, Adrien?" she asked as they drove him.
"It was great. I'll have to tell Father thank you," he said happily, waving to his friends as they drove off.
They reached the mansion and Nathalie escorted him inside, waiting for Mr. Agreste to come out to meet them in the foyer.
