North stumbled into her bedroom, tears already rolling down her face. She had realized while hearing about M's kids that if she stayed here she would never have those kinds of connections. Meeting someone, falling in love, children..a family. She had no one. North stumbled over to the window and sat with her back to it, tears falling fast.
M could hear her agony in one ear, and in the other, the male voice screeched loudly at his mistake.
You're not going to go to her! You're NOTHING! HAHAHAH!!
M slowly rose nevertheless, and looked out up at the house. I have to go. I can't leave her like this… it's totally against my nature…
He started walking. He swallowed the resentment and regret in his throat and pushed the mansion's doors open when he arrived at them. He walked up the reeling steps, and stared nervously at the bedroom door.
"North?" He asked tentatively, knocking on the door. "Hey, I can do something, y'know, about, um, your, um-" he cuts himself off, realizing how much of an idiot he's making himself seem.
North heard M at the door. She didn't want to talk to him, it would just make her feel worse about herself. She spied a wasp outside and took its form, flying through the half open window and under the door past M. North went to the library and perched herself on a railing facing away from the door.
M watched the wasp and sighed gently.
Almost exactly what happened last time with your son. Brings back memories, huh, M? Soon she'll be asking to leave, just like they did to you.
M bit his lip. What's the point of waiting around, then? He might as well get the process started… He turned away from the door, and down the steps. He turned to a small door that could've been mistaken for a closet door. He opened it and it led to a basement, walking down the steps, he closed the door behind him.
(um friend are you still alive or)
(yeah im here on and off for a while)
(Oh okay, so can you rp right now?)
(Iiiiii guess not…)
North felt herself dosing off. She awoke with a start and realized that the railing wasn't there anymore. She was falling. So fast, so fast, she couldn't control it. Her hands waved in the air, pulling books off their shelves, trying to grab hold of something. Oh well. I'm sorry M. She thought, right before she hit the ground.
(sry it took me a while to write that)
Suddenly, she landed on something soft.
A soft male voice hissed in her ear, the same that was tormenting M. You think the Gods would let M go that easily? They're ready for anything, stupid little girl.
North sat up, her hands covered in blood, a voice in her head. She tried to stand but she immediately became dizzy so she slowly crawled over to the door. "M..M? Please h-help me…" The voice in her head screamed at her. He doesn't love you. He forgot you. Nobody can help you. NOBODY. North screamed, trying to drown out the voice.
Don't talk to her! M screamed at the voice in his head, hearing it echo in her's. He fled up the steps of the basement and flung it open, then strided quickly over to front doors and opened them. He collected the injured girl in his arms and lifted her up with strength his frame didn't give away.
North winced as M picked her up. Something hot filled her throat and she started coughing, choking, blood flowed out of her mouth and she started writhing in his arms.
With difficulty, he sat her up in a sitting position in his arms and carried her upstairs. "Calm down!" He told her as he carried her up the narrow steps.
(Ok I got bored so I'm just gonna continue this. YES I'm that type of person)
M carried her quickly up the steps and into her bedroom, which was thank goodness right there. He covered the room quickly, thanks to his long legs, and set her down among the softly blue sheets. He knew she was suffering, and he needed to end it quickly. He decided to use the one spell he could use every few thousand years now: He rose his arms and said in a deep, mystical voice, "Sana tuam, et ossa tua called uoltum meam. Pro eo ut me totius corporis vulnere sanari."
Suddenly (sorry for taking your character momentarily, lolz), North felt a lightening sensation on her throat. All the shock she'd suffer from the fall, and the slight heart trauma from her body's shock of the fall was replaced with the sensation of a quickly beating heart. The voice in her left ear, that was laughing loudly, choked and died as soon as M's incantation finished. In the end, any other trauma or small injuries her body had was soothed by the incantation, which could be used once.
Such a waste, M. You're gonna waste it on her when she's going to die anyway?
(im sorry ill be here all of tomorrow and its fine lol)
(okay, see you tomorrow!)
North sighed contentedly and opened her eyes, squinting at the light coming through the window. "M? What happened? I thought I died." She said gazing up at him.
M was looking down at her. He seemed immensely relieved. "Are you okay?" He immediately felt relieved.
"Why didn't you let me die?" She said rolling over away from him. (gnight)
(Are you goin to bed?)
"Because I didn't want you to." He replied stupidly. "Maybe throwing yourself off my porch would help my self-esteem. Not."
(im awake now)
North frowned, "But the voice in my head…" She could hear it way in the back of her mind, very quiet. But it didn't seem to be talking to her. Suddenly it came back to her, the voice screaming in her head, falling, but not landing. It had told her something about M.
