Sebastian's face fell to a soft smile at this.
"Well, I'm happy to tell you that it's not going to end any time soon." He took a bite of his food then, enjoying the food it seemed
"Amazing as always," he murmured to himself.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"I hope that's true," Marrior said, fidgeting with the fork in his hands, looking down at it as if it was made of pure, priceless gold. "I hope it never ends."

Sebastian couldn't help but watch Marrior for a moment. The machine truly did look like he was doing better, then. He was in the awe daze, and while Sebastian couldn't say it would ever truly wear off after Marrior had grown used to all of this, he did know that this would be good for the robot beside him.
"We'll make sure it doesn't ," Sebastain promised. He kept making sure Marrior was always included, always giving power over himself as much as possible.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"But you can't always be sure," Marrior said quietly. He quickly put a bite of food in his mouth before he could say anymore. His previous owners had hated when he talked like that - or when he talked at all - and so he didn't want to get scolded for talking pessimistically.
Old habits died hard.

Sebastian fell quiet a moment, his fork lowering a moment.
"You're right," Sebastian finally said. "We can't always be sure. Still, we can work hard to make any chances of this changing for the worse much smaller." The man offered Marrior a gentle smile, not touching the robot.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Marrior shrugged, offering no reply other than to nod silently. He filled his mouth with food again, not daring to say what he felt - that it would be more of a hopeless cause than Sebastian thought.

Sebastian fell silent as well, turning back to his food. He wouldn't push Marrior, and he wasn't going to keep talking about things Marrior had experienced first hand. So, the man would focus on finishing breakfast, instead, thinking over the instructions he would give Marrior when they had to go out together.

@PrettyLittlePyro

After Marrior finished his food, he stood up to go take care of the dishes he used. While he was a guardian bot, he had learned other things, for owners with peculiar tastes in robots. Also, he had done the dishes with his little sister when they were younger, before… well, before everything happened.

Robert moved to stop Marrior, tell him he could handle the dishes, but Sebastian made his way over, lightly setting his hand on the kitchen bot as he shook his head. They'd need to ease Marrior into this- they couldn't just throw everything at him all at once. The man offered his own empty plates to Robert instead, moving to the door and waiting for Marrior.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Marrior didn't notice the exchange, so intent was he on helping out, and the memories that washing the dishes provided. When he finished, and the dishes were put away neatly, he turned to see Sebastian waiting for him.
He shouldn't have made his employer wait. A wave of panic welled up in him, that he tried his very best not to show. "I-I'm sorry for making you wait," he stammered.

Sebastian looked up when Marrior spoke, concern blossoming across as he heard the stutter in the machine's voice.
"Its alright, Marrior," he said, making his way over with slow, easily allowable movements, placing his hand on the other's shoulder.
"You didn't make me wait, I chose to. You've done nothing wrong."

@PrettyLittlePyro

The robot just nodded, not trusting himself to speak, because he would only make things worse. He knew, in his mind, that the man before him wouldn't hurt him for such a simple mistake, but he was having a hard time convincing the rest of him of this fact.

(Question: would the robots be programmed, sometimes, to only be able to speak the truth? Or no?)

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

(It think it could happen, for sure. It depends on who had them, of course, some people like to be lied to able themselves to make themselves feel better)

"Do you need some time? We don't have to leave right now, we're plenty early." Sebastian wanted to make sure Marrior was able to be calm, and ready to face the outside world when they left. Things would be back to what the robot would expect of a human like Sebastian out there, after all.

@PrettyLittlePyro

(Okee, thanks!)

"No," Marrior said quietly, voice almost quieter than what humans could hear, but not quite. "I'm ready." He wasn't, not really. He probably wouldn't ever be, but hey- no one cared. It was fine. He was fine. Everything was fine.
Totally.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian gently placed his hand on Marrior's shoulder, nodding some. He cared, though… but he didn't know if he'd ever be able to convince Marrior of that.
"Let's… let's get going, then…"

@PrettyLittlePyro

As they walked, Marrior wondered where Sebastian planned on taking him. He didn't say it out loud, though, given that the question could be considered rude, that it might be taken that he didn't trust what they were doing.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian would have gladly accepted the question, but he didn't know Marrior wanted to ask. He glanced at Marrior once before fixing his tie, walking to the front door. He was quiet as they stepped out, the man moving to get into his limo. He didn't address Marrior, or even look at him, seeing as they were out where anyone could see them.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Marrior took a deep breath, and let numbness spread through him. His metal shoulders straightened, his jaw clenched, and he chin went up. The change was instantaneous, and instead of an unsure, abused robot, he was a bodyguard robot to be reckoned with.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian glanced at Marrior as he slipped into his own mask that society dictated, folding his legs as he sat down. He pulled out his phone, for the most part looking like he was ignoring Marrior entirely.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Marrior stood behind Sebastian, arms behind his back, legs spread slightly. He looked part of the military, or at least someone who could take care of themselves. As an afterthought, he clicked one of the gears in his body, and a lightweight, visible armor popped up around him.

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Sebastian didn't bother glancing at Marrior, focusing on his phone. Today would show just what this would be like, then, in public. Sebastian was a totally different man that he was at home- cold, calculating. He looked at everything as if only judging how useful it, or they, were to him. He watched the world pass them in the limo for some time until they came to the building Sebastian worked in. He stood, getting out of the limo.

@PrettyLittlePyro

The transformation Sebastian went through was drastic. Marrior almost didn't recognize the man who had been so kind to him, although he hadn't done anything more than change his expression and posture. The bot didn't let the change bother him. Well, not outwardly, anyway. But some part of him wondered if this was how his new master really was, and if the kindness was really an act.
