(Yep! Here's the starter!)
In a nice little town called Coffeeville in the middle of nowhere other than woods and forests.
It wasnt that small though. The population was good along with everything else.
The crime rate was really low, and the jail only had a few people.
Yeah, with the occasional death row and the little electric chair. The green mile.
Well people say that's where it all started.
They were rumored to break out of the lab that they were looking at a survivor from the electric chair. But nobody really knows what actually happened.
Its been three years now and about three-quarters of the world's population had been wiped out. Only a few survivors in each town, though most abandoned.
Min-Hyuk Youn had been one of the survivors in Coffeeville where it all started.
He walked out of his house and out of town once he had gotten everything gathered. Food, weapons, clothing, pictures. Anything that was really important. Two years ago he had already buried this mom and sister's bodies. Well, what was left of them. Now, all that he had now was the pictures.
He walked along the sidewalk, the cold Autumn air blew again his skin. With the mask over his face and his dark clothing. In the shadows, he might have looked like a Screamer himself. Screamers, that's what he, and most people call them. He's met a few people around, but they've all died. He's learned not to get too attached. Nobody was left in Coffeeville, so he thought he might as well leave.
He arrived at his shed, the forge in the back that wasnt fully functional, but he made it work.
He opened the metal door on the side, chaining and locking it once he was in.
He dropped his bags, three of them. One filled with food. Mostly canned, but some not. The other clothes. He didn't take much, though only the certain things he liked.
There was a mall nearby, though not in too good of shape. But there are clothes there, so he didn't mind.
The other bag had a few guns he had stolen from before the whole thing that he had left at home. Pictures, little things in memory of his family. What he had left of it from before.
He sighed, taking the bird-like mask, running his scarred and bruised hand through his raven black hair. He slumped down on the cold concrete floor and closed his eyes, falling asleep right then and there
Cj had lived in the small town of Orin Trails ever sense she was little, she had not hated it, but longed for something more. So she grew up, and had moved to the city. Boy was that a mistake. She was stuck here, knowing her family was most likely dead, and she was stuck in the attic of some old factory. Her life sucked. She slid down the stairs of the attic silently, she needed food and water. Luckily this was a water bottle factory. About the only one in town. She tossed water in her bag, pulling her hat lower over her eyes. She slowly scanned the town for any food she could find.
Alice looked outside her window, staring at her small town that used to be filled with violence. Now it was silent. She looked back to her room, wondering how long her food supply would last. Not very long, she thought. Alice put on her hoodie, a backpack and grabbed her bat, heading to a nearby store hoping that the food wasn’t spoiled or gone
Min-Hyuk woke up about an hour later, looking over at the bags and deciding to organize his food, though he didn't particularly feel like it. There was a Mall nearby that he could probably get more supplies from. Hopefully, nobody got there before him. He got his weapon, homemade scythe, a few machetes, nothing too big or hard to. replace though. He was hoping to find a screamer and get it's spine. He would definitely love to.get his hands on one of those. The type of weapons he could make from one of those. He walked out of the metal door, wrapping the chain and locking it.
Rowan groaned and moved his neck from side to side, trying to get rid of all the kinks. He got up and dusted his pants and looked around for his bag and weapons. Walking out of the small shed, he looked around, trying to see where he should go next when he spotted the mall in the distance.
Hayden slowly walked around the exterior of the mall, constantly looking over his shoulder. He knew he had to make sure he was well aware of his surroundings since running away wasn't nessesarily his strong suit. He eventually found a fairly unbarricaded door on the east side of the building that he managed to squeeze through. The inside of the mall seemed fairly abandoned and run down but it seemed that some of the shops still had supplies left inside, hopefully of the useful type. Hayden tried to stay out of towns and cities as much as he could but he was running desperately low on supplies.
Min-Hyuk went to the mall for about the fifth time this month. He went there to either study or kill the screamers. Though it was extremely challenging. The mall was where the screamers liked to go most other than the forest south of the city.
He quickly jumped through a broken glass window, kicking away the access glass around the frame.
He looked around through the lenses in his bird-like mask, which he just freshly cleaned. He walked out of the room and into the main opening, automatically assuming nobody was here. To his knowledge, everyone in this town had been destroyed.
Hayden was walking through the mall when he heard glass being moved around somewhere nearby. He looked around for someplace to hide there was one store that was more hidden but he would have to climb over things which would not be a quiet task for him so he as quickly and as quietly as he could rushed into a shop that's entire front must have been glass but it was all shattered now. His cane inevitably made small clicks on the floor as he walked and the glass on the floor didn't do him favours either. He guessed it had been some kind of clothing store and walked farther into it to hopefully keep out of sight from whatever or whoever he had heard.

Wondering in the mall, looking at shops, grabbing any food he can find in the large double bags he brought. He compacted them into the black bookbag he brought to. He was only planning on taking one or two trips here, although raiding malls finding clothes that he liked, which wasn't much so he didn't have much to grab in that category. Now food, well he's definitely not picky about that, he had anorexia when he was around 14, he's fully recovered from it, his friend helped him with that, he's also gone now. But now that he wanted to live…. he wasn't going to be picky about food. He would find two little trinkets that he could make weapons out of, which was incredibly useful. He was surprised he still wanted to live, that he hasn't killed himself by now. Walking, he pulls up his sleeve to grab something out of one of the fridges that didn't work, stuffing water and healthy drinks in his bag. Reaching for another, he looks at his wrists, covered in burns and terrible scars. Pulling his sleeve back down sighing, he goes onto the next shop, apparently, they were selling….. underwe- WELP back to the next shop. He defintely let his gaurd down, until he heard a childs voice.
"momma…. I got lost… where are you.. momma?"
He poked his head out of the shops, seeing a little girl, two little buns on the side of her head, her bright blonde hair stained with blood. She was holding a little plastic bag, filled with food,
"honey? HONEY WHERE ARE YOU!??"
A woman's voice calls from another shop.
"um, your daughters ove-"
Min-Hyuk tried to tell her but was interrupted but a low growl, followed with a scream. He looks around the corner, the nightmare…. behind the little girl, there wasn't much he could do, but to find the mom. He stared, blankly as the monster tore the girl limb from limb. A shriek comes from the other side of the shop, he turns as the mother falls to the floor screaming. Also covered in blood.
She looks at Min-Hyuk wide-eyed, then her face suddenly turns to anger.
"WHY DIDNT YOU SAVE MY BAB-"
The monster looks up, quickly ripping her head off with its claws. Backing away, his facial expressions totally blank. Stepping back, holding his scythe, ready to fight.

Cj felt sick. For creatures who ate humans, they couldn't seem to just eat them all. The ground was covered in blood, and bones, she felt tears stinging her eyes, as she walked down the shadows of the streets. She picked up any can that had a label, placing it in her bag, trying to make little noise. Then she heard it, a small faint whisper. She froze, not wanting to move. Cj shook, out of sheer terror that she had been caught, she had even chosen to cover her arms in dark clothing. She barely even chocked out a whisper back. "….hello?…." She replied to the unknown whisper. She turned to the alley way and noticed the glint of eyes. Human eyes. She stepped closer, looking into the alleyway, pulling out her gun from her bag, arming it. What was she about to get herself into?
Emy had lived in a town near Coffeeville all her life. Her cousin lived there so she visited, quite a few times. But, now her cousin was dead, along with everybody else. She would go into Coffeeville every day to collect supplies. She would always pass by her cousin's house when going to the mall. She stumbled to her favorite store, JJ outlets.
Alice walked back to her house, scanning the area for any threat. She entered her home, and started putting away her supplies when she remembered she wasn’t far from a mall. After putting her stuff away, Alice went outside and headed to the mall, hoping that there was still supplies there.
