"But what?" Shadow asked.
"But what?" Shadow asked.
“But… but…” Drew started again, only to trail off.
"What?" Shadow asked, very confused.
Drew furrowed his brow. “I’m not sure.”
"Okaaay." She said. She hated the awkward silence. "Let's get back to trying your magic."
Drew blinked and looked down. “Okay. What do you suggest I try doing?”
"Try to focus on your hands. Feel everything that is going on there and see if you can make something more happen." She said.
Drew looked down at where he thought his hands were. Instead he looked at his lap. “Okay…” He focused on his fingers, the tingling of his tips in the cold breeze. Past it… nothing.
"Anything?" Shadow asked.
Drew shook his head. “Just… empty.”
Drew shook his head. “Just… empty.”
Drew shook his head. “Just… empty.”
(Having troubles with Notebook?)
"That's OK. Don't worry about it. There are other ways." She said reassuringly.
(Yea)
Drew frowned worriedly. “What if I don’t have magic?”
"Like I said. Don't worry about it. My magic doesn't manifest in those ways." She said. "So it's OK."
Drew frowned. “I still think I’m gonna be pretty useless, magic or no magic.”
Shadow gave him a look but then remembered that he couldn't see so she stopped. "Fine. I guess your going to be useless forever than." She said with a little huff at the end.
Drew didn’t detect the sarcastic frustration in her voice and took it to heart, dipping his head.
“Okay.”
"OMG. No. I was being sarcastic. You need to man up and do what you want to do. And don't you go on that speech of 'I can't because I'm blind,' because if you tell your self that than that is all you will ever be." She said wacking him again.
Drew squeaked and grabbed his shoulder where she hit him. “Can you please stop doing that? Hitting me isn’t going to do anything…”
"Well neither is doubting yourself. It's a bad habit and you need to stop it. So every time you make a depressing comment I'm going to smack you!" She said.
Drew shrinked up into himself. “Why?? It’s mean.”
"Well I'm not being anymore mean to you than you are to yourself." She said as she crossed her arms.
Drew whined and curled his legs close to his chest. “It hurt.”
"Well of course it did. I slapped you." She said.
