(Yes he looks great! Physical Magic for Elementalists would be teleportation and healing, dear. I know I didnβt say it, Iβm sorry.)

(oof. forgive my absence. Family is beginning to come into town for the holidays.)
Jericho returned to his desk after getting firmly dismissed. He didn't mind though. He was just happy someone remembered to bring breakfast for M. He shook his head, chuckling quietly to himself. He wondered how Alison did it. M certainly wasn't an easy guy to be around. Honorable and Jericho admired him dearly, but a pain the ass. She certainly was a goddess.
Jericho's smile faltered as he wondered if he'd ever find someone like how Alison was to M. Gods knew he was looking, but no luck. He sighed, dismissing the oppressive thoughts and got to work. It was going to be a wild day. He just knew it.
"Demi-goddess," Alison corrected him with a wink. "So anyway, do you want me to bring some lunch by later? Or will you actually manage to find time to spare if I don't make you?"
M uncurled himself from his chair and stood up, arching his back downward in a stretch.
βI have free time right now, I suppose.β He smiled a bit.
βWell, having spare time now doesnβt exactly help with lunch time, hun,β Alison chuckled. βBut do you want to go for a walk with me, then?β
M looked down at his desk. He was feeling particularly lost and dull today.
βRight. Walks.β He blinked a couple times, then shook himself, nearly dropping off into himself again.
Alison frowned slightly as she watched him. βMaybe a walk will help clear your head, hm?β
M chewed on his lip and looked at her. His eyes were clouded and tired.
βThat sounds good,β He said in response, forgetting what she had said previously.
Alison took a step closer and lifted a hand to his cheek, cupping it gently as she looked at him with worry in her eyes. βOr maybe you should come home. You look like you need to sleep, M.β
M leaned into her hand and lifted one of his to hold hers. βMaybe I should go home. I donβt remember the last time Iβve been.β He shut his eyes.
Alison nodded silently, gently rubbing his cheek with her thumb. He looked exhausted. If she could just get him to sleep for a few hours, it would probably do wonders for him.
βLetβs go home, then, yeah?β she said softly. But, waitβ¦ Would they have to talk to Neo about it firstβ¦?
M opened his eyes and squeezed her hand gently. Her doubtful thoughts tickled at his ears.
βI can just leave a note on my desk. Letβs go home.β
βOkay,β Alison sighed, reaching up to place a light kiss to his lips. She moved to his side and wrapped him arm around him, letting a small smile take over her lips as she looked up at him. βTo home we go!β
M turned on his heel, laughing softly at himself. He almost forgot to write the note. βWeβll go home in a bit. I need to write this note.β He plucked up the new pen and got some ink for it, then splotchily wrote out some random reason why he was away from his desk. He set the pen down into a cup and set his arm carefully on his wifeβs head.
βMust you always do that, dear?β Alison sighed in mock seriousness, removing his arm from her head with a smile. βIβm not that much shorter than you.β
βYou are six and a quarter inches shorter than I,β M pointed out for the umpteenth time with a smile, replacing his arm on her head.
βThat doesnβt mean you need to use me as your armrest,β Alison chuckled, taking his arm off of her head once more.
M frowned slightly. βBut I canβt use you as my chinrest. That would hurt my back.β He wrapped his arms around her, sighing softly as he hugged her. He missed her warm hugs.
Alison grinned as she hugged him back, leaning into him. βSorry, dear. Itβs not like I can grow any taller.β
M dipped his head over hers and bent over into the hug, sighing softly. βI bet you could find a way.β He squeezed her briefly before letting go.
βLetβs hug more at home.β
βAre you saying Iβm to short for you?β Alison teased with a chuckle as she gathered her things to leave.
βI think I am too tall for you.β He laughed softly and looked at his inky sleeves and chest. He shrugged it off; heβd just walk home like this.
βWell, I think you are the perfect height, dear,β Alison declared, grinning up at him as they walked.
M chuckled and rolled his shoulders back. βI feel like I should be able to walk under thresholds without bending down. That is my only wish.β
Alison laughed lightly. βI suppose that could be difficult to have to do multiple times a day, huh?β
