“Now I really feel short,” Alison muttered under her breath as she caught up to him. “This is the only thing I don’t like about it. This giant hill. Are you sure it’s not a mountain?”

M walked forward a couple more feet, turned to find her a distance away. He blinked down at his long legs, then up at her.
“I’m sure this isn’t a mountain. It is a normal hill.”

“It’s a freaking tall hill,” Alison grumbled. She blinked and grinned. “I bet this would be really fun to slide down if it was icy. Why haven’t I thought about that before now?”

Eve lowered her chin, looking up at him through thick lashes. "We haven't gone to dinner in a while….I wanna go somewhere romantic. Just you and I." She brought the hand that held hers to her lips and kissed it. "That's my fee, then you can have as many muffins as you'd like. Within reason, of course."

Juliet traced circles on his neck. "But you woke me up, so you need to stay up. "She held him tightly. "Entertain meeeeeee!"

(Before know)

M rolled his eyes and chuckled softly. “Why not just use our car? Or hire someone to pick you up?” He walked a couple more feet up the hill.

Neo laughed softly and returned the kiss to one on her forehead. “I couldn’t expect any less. Would you like me to rent out the entire restaurant? Or just reserve a booth for us?”

Zackary gave soft noises of protest, wiggling closer to her. “I didn’t mean to wake you! I’m sorrrryyyy!”

(long sigh My word…)

“I could. But if I want to have some fun sometime, then I’m totally freezing this thing and sliding down it,” Alison giggled.

M shook his head, exasperated. “My goodness. You’re in something of a “let’s do something dangerous” mood.” He smiled nevertheless.

"Well, I'll make sure that I'm doing it safely," Alison laughed lightly as she caught up with him again.

M bobbed up the rest of the hill, leaving her behind by a few feet. “You’re almost there!”

"Metaphorical, you can't just leave me here!" Alison laughed as she sped up her walk a bit.

M spun his hands in circles, stretching out his fingers and arms. “I haven’t left you anywhere.”

"Yet," Alison joked with a light laugh. "But you might one day if you forget that I'm shorter than you."

M chuckled and shook his head. “Perhaps. But I will remember and wait.”

"I certainly hope so. I would be quite sad if you forgot about me," Alison said with a slight laugh.

Her eyes twinkled. "Well, if I request the whole restaurant, would that make me selfish?" She asked, looking up at him with wide green eyes, bits of gold popping within them.

Juliet shook her head. "No. How am I suppose to go back to sleep?" She turned away from him and pouted. She loved messing with him.

M smiled when she approached and set a hand on her head. “It would be. Thankfully I never will.”

“I know you won’t, hun,” Alison said, giving him a quick hug.

M hugged her back and lifted her off of the hill. “Okay. Now. Let’s go back down.”

“What, are you planning on carrying me down?” Alison laughed lightly.

M put her down. “No. I can’t carry you for that long.” He laughed softly. “Should we do that ice idea and risk breaking one of our bones?”

“We won’t break anything,” Alison giggled. “Do want to try?”

M gave her a look. “You might not. I might.”

“So… Is that a no, then?” Alison asked, giving him a questioning look.

M returned the look with one of his own. “If you’d like me to slide along I suppose I could.”

Alison grinned as she looked at him. “Seriously? If I turned the hill into ice right now, you’d slide down it with me?”
