“Sure I’m only free tomorrow after school though,” she said smiling slightly. “Should we do a poster or slide show? If we choose a poster I have a bunch of supplies I can bring in.”
“Sure I’m only free tomorrow after school though,” she said smiling slightly. “Should we do a poster or slide show? If we choose a poster I have a bunch of supplies I can bring in.”
Veronica nodded a little, "Tomorrow sounds good, I'll give you a lift after school, too. I have a bunch of paints and drawing stuff at home, too so a poster might be best. And more creative."
“That’s what I was thinking. You like to paint and stuff?” She asked as she took out her laptop. It was from the school and pretty rundown.
Veronica shrugged a shoulder, "Yeah I guess. It's a nice outlet for stress and what not. But with school I don't paint as much as I used to."
Ava nodded. “Yeah I sketch a lot and I like to paint but painting takes time,” She agreed.
"Agreed," She sighed, "So tomorrow after school, then? I'll meet you in the school's parking lot and we'll head back to mine to work on this thing?"
“Yeah,” she agreed nodding. Once her laptop was on and she unlocked it she opened google. “We can do a little research now and on our own that way we can get it all don't tomorrow.”
“Fair enough,” Veronica pulled out an iPad in fairly good condition apart from the crack down the center, “So what poets and poetry did you want to compare?”
“I don’t know a whole lot of poets except the obvious like Shakespeare,” she admitted. “Where you thinking of anything?”
"Shakespeare is a good one to compare since his work is amazing. I figured we could maybe look at some Youtuber's who wrote poetry since they seem to be pretty bad." She shrugged a shoulder, "But we can look up some others."
Ava nodded again. “Yeah I know there was one recently she wrote a book of poems something about childhood,” she said resting her head on her hand while she looked at Veronica.
"Yeah I know about that one, I just can't remember the title of the book." Veronica bit at her bottom lip, turning to google to try and find the book they were talking about.
Ava nodded in agreement she turned to her laptop and typed. “Adultolence?” She asked.
"Yes! That's the one!" She grinned, "Do you wan to do that then?"
“Sure I’ll make a document and share it with you,” she says. Actually making the doc. She typed up there basic idea.
"Cool, thanks." She replied. Once she had the document, she added a few pictures of different poems from both poets, going to write something when the bell for the end of class rang.
“Great Umm I’ll see you tomorrow right?” She asked. She was pretty sure she didn’t have any other classes with her.
"Yep, I'll see you tomorrow Ava." Veronica smiled, packing up her things and with a small wave, she disappeared out the classroom.
Ava waved as well. Once she was gone Ava left. She kept thinking about Veronica but she wasn’t really sure why.
(Time skip?)
(yeye)
The next day Veronica was actually fairly excited to work with Ava after school. It was strange since she had never noticed her before or had anything to do with her and now all she wanted was to see her again.
They weren’t able to talk during English because the teacher had everyone working on a assignment individually. She waited in the schools parking lot after school.
Veronica was chatting with a few of her friends happily as she walked out of school. She saw Ava and waved, saying goodbye as she walked over, "Heya."
"Hey," She said back smiling. She met Veronica halfway.
"Ready to get to work?" She asked, walking them over to her car.
Ava nodded. “Yeah,” She said getting into the passenger seat.
