"Yeah, I noticed. Don't worry about it, darling. I'm only calm about it because I'm used to dealing with it." He kissed Logan's forehead softly. "You're fine, Logan."
"Yeah, I noticed. Don't worry about it, darling. I'm only calm about it because I'm used to dealing with it." He kissed Logan's forehead softly. "You're fine, Logan."
He hummed softly, still unsure but not as frantic as before. “Must be hard for you guys to form relationships with anyone, doing the job you do along with the strict protocol.” He said, still not fully understanding Jays and Jackson situation but wanting to, at least as much as he was allowed
"Oh you don't know the half of it. It's almost impossible. Developing relationships is hard enough. Actually keeping those relationships is even harder."
He nodded and took another deep breath. “I hope this relationship lasts.” He said, lacing his hand with Jackson’s and squeezing gently before slowly getting up, stretching and heading to the kitchen. “Any requests for breakfast or will it be anything we manage to find in the cabinets?”
"I'm too tired to have any standards right now so I'll eat anything." He stretched luxuriously, sighing in relief as his muscles relaxed.
“Alright, I’ll see what I can find then.” He called, glancing over his shoulder and smiling at Jackson before looking through the cabinets to see what he could throw together.
"I mean, I could have you for breakfast and I'd be pretty satisfied." He chuckled with a wink.
Logan flushed and shook his head “sorry, hon, I’m not on the menu.” He replied, deciding on chocolate chip muffins for breakfast.
"You should be though~" He purred before laughing. He had never been one for flirting, where had this come from?
Logan shook his head with a laugh “nope, not today love, sorry.” He replied, starting to get the batter for the muffins ready, sneaking a few chocolate chips hear and there while he simultaneously made his first coffee of the day
"I'll have you one of these days. And you'll wonder why you didn't let me do it sooner." He rolled his eyes with a smile, ruffling Logan's hair.
He leaned into Jackson’s hand and shrugged “I don’t know love, maybe, maybe not.” He stepped away slightly, slowly growing uncomfortable. “I’ve never really been into that kind of thing. Especially after what happened with Xavier.”
"Really? Oh, I'm sorry love, I didn't mean to bring up bad memories." He squeezed his hands together, feeling a little guilty for acting the way he had.
Logan glanced up at Jackson and smiled softly. “Hey, you didn’t know. I should’ve told you before.” He gently took his hands in his own and pressed a kiss to his knuckles. “I’ve just never had a good experience when it came to that. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to accept your love ever again. It’ll just take some getting used to on my part.” He gently cupped Jackson’s cheek and smiled “and just for the record, I would never be considered a breakfast item other than coffee. I’d be the dessert.” He wink and pressed a kiss to his lips before gently pulling away to pour the batter into the tHe tins
He relaxed with a chuckle, shaking his head. "That you would be, my darling. That you would be." Phew, crisis averted for now.
Logan smiled sweetly and snuck a few more chocolate chips before sprinkling a few on top of the muffins. “whatcha think? More chocolate? Less? Oooh maybe we could soak coffee into them later…”
"More chocolate, always more chocolate." He nodded firmly before smiling. "You and your coffee obsession are going to get you killed."
He nodded and brought the bag over, sprinkling more chocolate on top until they were well covered. “Hey, it hadn’t killed me yet. I think I’ll be okay. And if I die because of coffee, I’m absolutely fine with that, though maybe not so soon.”
"And not without me. I will drag you down from heaven myself if I have to, you're not leaving me." He wrapped his arms around Logan's waist, squeezing him to his chest.
Logan laughed softly and nodded “I would gladly follow you to the depths of Hell to be with you my love.” He replied, reaching up and gently caressing Jackson’s cheek, letting himself lean into the secure embrace.
"I don't know what I'd do if you left me for those fluffy clouds above. I'd just fall apart."
“I’m not going to let that happen my darling. You’re my heaven. All I want and need is you.” He murmured, voice soft. “You’re my angel.” He reached up and pressed a sweet kiss to his lips
He accepted the kiss gratefully, squeezing him tighter. "I'm holding you to that. The last thing I need is you disappearing on me."
“If I ever do, you know how to call me back. Just start the coffee machine.” He winked and pressed a kiss to his nose. He broke away momentarily to put The muffins in the oven
