(Yes, that's correct I need to stop making multiple ship have J names 😅)
Jackson drummed his fingers on his thigh, gritting his teeth in an attempt to stay calm. His temper was flaring but the small piece of his soul that was still alive begged him to trust Logan. He wouldn't do that to you. You don't know that! Trust him! Never!
He cut a glare over at Jackson and grinned a smile he had now won the most valuable of prizes. He then looked back down at Logan with a softer smile and leaned into him. Logan frowned and leaned back, pressed his hand to his lips to stop him. He pulled back, brows creased in confusion and slight annoyance. “Not here in front of him?”
Logan shook his head and completely pulled away, zipping up the leather jacket to hide his exposed body. “Not here and not ever.” He said simply.
“Why even come then? You can’t have both of us Logan.”
He shrugged “I only want one of you. You had your chance, Xavier. You ruined that years ago.”
“Then why com back to me if you never wanted me in the first place? Especially looking like this?” He asked, slowly growing more desperate, he even took a step forwards.
“To show you all that you’ve lost.” Logan said with a pretty smile.
A smug and slightly relieved smile spread across Jackson's lips. He was more than happy that Logan was staying loyal, he wasn't sure why he'd been worried in the first place. Jackson stepped forward, wrapping an arm around Logan's waist. "I suppose I should be thanking you. For giving me the chance to meet the love of my life."
He laughed and backed off, feeling the sudden shift in mood coming from Jackson. “And should I thank you for taking mine away?” He gritted our with a sharp smile.
Logan shook his head and pressed himself close to Jackson. “I was never yours. You lost me that night Xavier.”
Xavier shifted and narrowed his eyes. “Think he won’t do the same in due time? There’s something off about him Lo.”
Logan shrugged “no, I don’t think he will.” He replied, lacing his hands with Jackson’s and gently pulling him into a walk.
"Those of us made by fire don't usually like to burn people. But I suppose that doesn't really apply to you." He shrugged with a relaxed smile before following Logan away from him.
Xavier’s eyes widened at the comment but made no move to stop them, knowing he had lost Logan.
Logan glanced up at Jackson once they were fully out of view from Xavier and took a deep breath. “You alright?” He asked softly
(That line was shockingly good for 7 in the morning, what the hell)
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm mostly just glad that I still have you by my side." He kissed the top of his head with a smile.
(It was XD)
“Always darlin, I told you I was only yours, no one elses.” He reaches up and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Were you worried?” He asked with a small smirk, trying to lighten the mood after the interaction between him and Xavier.
"So what if I was? It's not my fault I have trust issues." He rolled his eyes with a smile. "Although if he pisses me off again, I'm taking his head as my prize."
He laughed softly and shook his head “I understand, but I’m not leaving you, unless given a good reason. Like stealing my coffee or something, and even then I don’t think honk I’ll leave you.” He said, resting his head in Jackson’s shoulder as they walked back to the apartment. “Go right ahead, I know I won’t stop you.”
"Aww, you wouldn't kick me out for taking your coffee? That's a high honor." He laughed, sighing in relief as they walked back into the warmth.
Logan laughed softly “no, I don’t th ink I would, though you’d owe me coffee afterwards.” He said, opening the door and pulling off the leather jacket. He took a deep breath, just glad to finally be rid of Xavier once and For all. “Speaking of which, I think imma treat myself to a cup or three, you want some?”
"Nah, I'm alright. Although I may just have to treat myself to a taste of you." He ran his hands up and down Logan's sides with a chuckle.
He laughed softly and leaned into Jackson’s touch as he measured out the coffee beans. “We’ll cuddle soon darling, after coffee.” He said, turning his his hold and pressing a kiss to his lips before breaking away. “Imma go change quickly, you watch the coffee.” He said, bouncing off to the bedroom
"Nooo, you look good. I was enjoying the view." He whined, pouting as he watched Logan bound off.
Logan pulled off all his clothes and changed into Jackson sweatshirt and a pair of fluffy star cover pants. “You enjoy the view, I enjoy being warm.” He said, walking back into kitchen and pouring some warm water into the brew press.
"You're mean, love. Taking away such a beautiful sight. Should be a crime, honestly."
“I was cold! SHorts and fishnet are not warm! I needed warmth!” He argued playfully, adding in the grounded coffee to the He press and slowly pushing down the plunger.
"So you chose to change instead of just cuddling with me? Love, now I'm just insulted!"
“Wha- no! That’s not what I said! I’d cuddle with anytime but I don’t think either of us would enjoy it if I were complaining about being cold half the time.” He pouted softly and let the coffee to sit for a bit. He wrapped his arms around Jackson’s waist and rested his head on his chest. “We can cuddle now once the coffee is done.” He suggested with a small smile
"You just can't win this argument, can you?" He laughed. "I'm kidding darling, I don't mind. Although you did look damn good in that outfit."
“Thank you dear, maybe I’ll wear it again when warmer weather comes around or something.” He said with a smile, pressing a kiss to his cheek. He broke away to pour the now ready coffee into two mugs. Handed one off to Jackson and gently tugged him to the couch
He let himself be pulled, focusing on not spilling his coffee as he dropped onto the couch. "You are silently insistent, you know that?"
Logan shrugged and sat beside him, taking a sip of his coffee. “It’s effective no?” He smiled softly and nuzzled his head against Jackson’s neck.
"I mean, it is, but my point still stands." He chuckled, ruffling his hair.
