"Hmm…I might have something in my pack," Allie said. "Or, I suppose we could always forage for berries or nuts."

"Hmm…I might have something in my pack," Allie said. "Or, I suppose we could always forage for berries or nuts."
"Check your pack first." Logan replied, sitting down on the ground with a sigh.
Allie took it off and dug through her stuff, finding a couple of cans of food at the bottom, after several minutes of digging. "Ta-da!"
Logan grinned. "Alright. Shall we eat one of those, then?"
“Yeah,” Allie agreed, holding out a few to him. “You choose.”
He shrugged, and picked one at random. "There." He replied.
Allie opened the can and ate half before handing it to him. “That hit the spot,” she sighed.
Logan smiled, and ate his half. "Agreed." He replied with a smile.
“Okay, I suppose we had better get back to walking,” Allie said, stretching a bit.
Logan nodded. "Yeah." he put his backpack back on with a soft sigh.
She copied him, beginning to walk again as well.
Logan sighed and stretched.
“How much longer are we going to walk?” Allie asked, curious.
Logan shrugged. "I…don't know, actually." He replied slowly.
“Well, maybe we could just walk a little farther and then stop? We don’t need to walk all day, do we?” she asked.
Logan nodded. "Yeah, sure." He replied, raking a hand through his hair.
Allie nodded. “Cool.” She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and glanced around warily.
Logan took a deep breath, looking around. He wondered what the Red Hand would do, and if this was what he would have to do forever. Just…run away.
Allie heard a noise and she started. “Did you hear that?” she asked him. A branch crunched near them, like someone was walking close by.
Logan frowned, and nodded. "Yeah." He replied softly, eyes darting around to try and locate the source of the noise.
Allie tensed, looking around. Some leaves near them rustled, and a deer walked out, glancing in their direction before running away. Allie breathed a sigh of relief, even though the appearance of the deer was a bit weird.
Logan released his breath in a soft sigh. "Damn. That scared me." he said with a quiet laugh.
Allie’s lips quirked into a smile as well, before she laughed too. “Me too.” She was still a tiny bit wary, though.
Logan chuckled. "Mm. Good to know we're both on the alert, then."
“Yeah, and I’m still shaken up from that stupid deer,” Allie admitted, shaking her head.
