Cassidy grinned, "I see."
She riffled through her things looking for her Pajama's, "Have you guy's been here before?"
Cassidy grinned, "I see."
She riffled through her things looking for her Pajama's, "Have you guy's been here before?"
"I have!" Maya hummed, grinning from ear to ear. "I've been here a few times, actually. My dad use to work here."
Brittney laughed a little, glancing between Maya and Cassidy. "This is my first time, though I've been up in the mountains around here. So I know the surrounding area pretty well. What about you?"
Cassidy sat down on her bed, "Nope, I've never been, The area reminds me of where I grew up though. Currently I live in a dessert so the trees and grass are a nice change."
"You live in the dessert? Which one?" Maya asked with interest, her smile still quite bubbly. Brittney seemed just as interested, as she started to get her own pajama's for the night.
"Is it here in the states?"
"Yep! I live in southern California so the Mojave Dessert." Cassidy replied.
"I grew up in Ireland though, so that's where the accents from, I tend to keep the slang at bay."
"You lived in Ireland!?" Maya asked, her jaw dropping. "I've never even left my state! That's so awesome."
Grinning from ear to ear, she glanced over to Brittney. "Isn't that really cool?" When addressed, Brittney laughed lightly.
"Yeah it is. It's really cool. Have you been to other places as well?" She asked lightly, sprawling out on her bed.
"A few, Dad and I went to Disney world in Florida, and I've been to a few different tourist stops through out Europe." Cassidy shrugged.
"Mom likes to spoil me rotten when I'm over there."
"That would be so cool… I think at least. I mean, I've never really left my house, so of course it sounds appealing. But that might just be me. It might not be as fun when you get to do it. Is it?" Maya rambled a bit, before reaching the end with a little smile.
"Gracious, Maya." Brittney laughed lightly, before starting towards the door. "You need to chill out a little."
Maya huffed lightly, crossing her arms over her chest. "I can't help it. I'm excited! But anyways, is it as cool as I think it would be?"
(Sorry I didn't have internet for a few day's and forgot to tell you)
"That depends on how much you want to enjoy it I guess." Cassidy replied with a smile.
"Iceland was cool, and It doesn't matter how many of them I see Castle's are my favorite. Chatsworth was stunning, I've been begging Mom to go back but, she doesn't have the same affinity for old buildings that I do." Cassidy shook her head with a grin.
"But that's a lot of asking about me, what about you Brittney? Traveled anywhere?"
(It's all good!)
"Me?" Brittney asked in surprise, leaning back against the door. "I mean, I've been to the Netherlands. That was pretty cool." She hummed with a little shrug, a little smile pulling up.
"We went to Broek op Langedijk, and the flowers there a gorgeous. I'd show you pictures if I had brought the SD card from that trip. But I didn't bring it, and have a feeling you may have already gone there." Brittney added on with a light laugh. A soft yawn escaped her lips, as she glanced over to Maya, who was grinning.
"That's so cool! And it sounds so gorgeous…" Maya hummed, starting to play with her hair.
Cassidy stifled a yawn of her own, "I don't think I've been there."
She fidgeted slightly at the awkward silence that followed.
"I think Lights out is pretty soon, We should probably get to sleep in the near future."
"Yeah, you're right. I'm gonna go get ready real quick," Brittney hummed a little, starting to pull the cabin door open.
"Either one of you want to come with me?" She asked lightly, standing between their cabin and the outside.
When asked, Maya shook her head with a light smile. "I already went and got ready. I'm fine here."
Cassidy tossed her things into a small bag and stood up slinging it over her shoulder.
"I'll come along."
She walked over to Brittney thanking her as she stepped outside.
"No problem." Brittney hummed a little, shutting the cabin door.
Quietly she led Cassidy along, glancing over her shoulder to make sure she was following.
"The bath house is right up there," Brittney pointed out, giving a slight smile.
(Time skip?)
(Sure thing! Next morning, I'm assuming?)
(Yes!)
(Alright, who's post? I don't mind doing it, if you'd prefer I did.)
(I believe I did the last Time skip so can you do this one?)
(Sure thing! I'll get it up in a few minutes.)
As the sun rose, a decent amount of buzz could be heard outside the cabins. Though it was subtle. The sound of running footsteps on the pathway, and soft voices could be heard.
Calum had gotten up early that morning, and was already out on his skate board. He had even taken the time to make sure it was okay with the staff. Humming softly to himself, he continued to roll on back up to the cabins. His mood had completely improved from when he had gotten here.
Why wouldn't it have? He had made friends with a really cute girl, had gotten familiar with his roommates, and was now getting to skate around the camp. Calum was plenty happy.
As he pulled up to the cabins, he stopped by the girl's cabins to keep an eye out for Cassidy. Maybe to say good morning, or maybe to show off and try to impress her.
Cassidy Had woken up just as the sun began to peak through the windows. She got up groggily and got ready for the day. She emerged in a pair of her signature Jean shorts with a deep red tank top, she thought about tying a sweater around her waist but, It wouldn't get that cold would it?
She was the first awake in her cabin so she simply sat on the porch playing a soft melody until the sound of a set of wheels caught her attention.
She found the source easily enough, She had to admit, Calum looked rather dashing on his skateboard and it did add a level of attractive she did not expect to be feeling. Shaking those thoughts from her mind she waved and called out.
"Calum!"
Turning his gaze to Cassidy, Calum felt a bright smile pull up as he started to roll to a stop. As soon as he had, he clipped the chin strap, before pulling his helmet off and tucking it under his arm.
"Gooood morning, missy." Calum greeted with a hum, ruffling his hair to fix it. With his light smile, he kicked up his skateboard before carrying it up the steps to her cabin. "How'd you sleep last night? Good, I'm hoping?"
Leaning up against the post of the cabin, he set the nose of his skateboard down so it was leaning up against him. He still had a loose hold on his helmet, twirling it in his hands as he stood there.
Cassidy raised an eyebrow and walked over.
"Show off ." She said grinning, "I prefer lassy or lass to missy for your information. I slept well, My cabin mates are delightful and now you're here so, today's starting out pretty great."
She laughed a bit reaching up to ruffle his messy hair,
"Someone has hat hair."
"I'll keep that in mind," Calum laughed lightly, to her first comment. "But good, I'm glad you slept well."
Smiling brightly, he leaned down for her to play with his hair. In all honesty, he really liked it. Especially coming from her.
"And, I'd be surprised if I didn't. I've been wearing a helmet for awhile." He informed with a light tone, tucking the mentioned helmet, under his arm. Calum was relaxed, still leaning up against the post of the cabin.
"So, you headed anywhere in particular?"
