Kyo looked around, eyes open in awe. "Wow… This place is… Large." He stated the obvious, he was expecting a small apartment, fit for a college student… Not this. Even the apartment he had shared with his friend wasn't this large. "Is someone else staying here?" He asked, convinced that it was the only reasonable awnser.
Victor watched with a raised eyebrow. It was almost comedic how big the place was for such a small being.
“Only you. Unless you invite someone to live with you. If you do that, you have to ask me.” He replied simply. “Your fridge is already full of the basics; milk, fruits, vegetables. The meats are in the freezer. We have a store for magical beings located just beyond the second apartment building. You live in the fifth.” He walked to the living room, tapping the couch. “If Anything breaks, call me. If you need extra towels, blankets, or anything of the sort, tell me. I will visit from time to time, and we have social events. There is also schooling available through us.”
"The fuck…" Kyo muttered, the words looking strange coming from a small and cinnamon roll looking person. "And I can still continue the schooling that I have already, right? I'm working to become a licensed therapist." He asked, peering around the apartment as he followed Victor around the apartment.
A small chuckle left his throat. Kyo was interesting. Cursing and yet still looking rather cute.
“Yes you can. Either at your college or here. All credits transfer.” He murmured, completely amused. This living community was going to be better than he thought. “There is also a pool and a gym, if that interests you.”
"Is the pool saltwater? If so, I can't touch it. But the gym sounds cool." Kyo said absentmindedly, still looking around the large living space in awe. He wondered if Victor went to college at the college here, that would be funny.
“One is salt water, the other is not. We have freshwater creatures living here as well.” The human paused to let the Selkie explore, his eyes alight in slight amusement. How did this little male get his mood up so quickly?
"That's good, I might swim, or maybe not, who knows!" Kyo said, smiling softly. He gave a running start than jumped onto the couch, the large thing being, as he expected, super fucking bouncy.
Victor shook his head, looking away. His gaze went steely once more as he moved to open the open the blinds. The last dying rays of the sun filtered in.
“Is that everything? Anything else you need before I go?”
"I think I'm good, thank you!" He answered, standing up with his face red from embarrassment. "Erm, I also had a question. Do you go to the college here?" Kyo asked, one hand rubbing his other arm, he wasn't used to asking questions, or talking in general.
Victor nodded curtly, flashing a small smile before he headed towards the door. The question threw him off guard, causing him to turn and stop. “I do. The business school here.” He replied simply. “I have no other choice.”
(Oh stars, I'm really bad at plots so I have to ask, what were we thinking for next?)
(Ahahah I feel that on a personal level. Alrighty let’s see. So we know they gunna fall in love right? So we just need plot points between that mmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnn. Small lunches? Moments when they’re alone again in the apartment? We needs some big plot points.)
(Ughhhhhhhhhhh, I'm so bad at romanceeeeeee.)
(Ahahahaha me too. mostly cuz my love life is trash wanna just keep going through the the small moments and see what happens?)
(Sure, my love life is not there so I get that.)
(Ahahaha okey. So….. next time they meet for food????)
(Alrighty So food it is? Want me to start??? ps my love life also is quite dead so I relate XD)
(Okeeyyy)
Victor played on his phone as he waited for the small Selkie. Today was another meeting, and he was hosting it. Thought the human still found the Majiks disgusting creatures, he enjoyed Kyo’s presence.
He glanced up for a moment, yawning.
Kyo walked in, this time having a different jacket on, still a super heavy one, but it looked less hobo-ish. The jacket was a light blue with shell patches on it, his hair was brushed but still looked a bit messy, like it had been blown by a sea wind.
And Victor was nearly neat and as clean as always. Instead today he wore a flannel-looking button-up shirt and a pair of dark jeans. His hair wasn't as tamed today, however. Instead it was wild, and almost like he had rolled out of bed with it. The change seemed unlike him and yet he did every day of his life.
"Kyo, how are you?" He asked softly, leaning back in his seat with a small, impolite smile. "Is everything going alright in the apartments?"
"Everything is going great!" He explained, eyes shining with happiness. He was tired yet still as energetic as usual, which contradicts what I said at first but shhh. His sneakers squeaked on the floor as he accidentally slid across the floor.
Victor smiled softly, leaning across the table with a real smile this time. “I’m glad to hear that, Kyo. Are you settled in?” He asked gently, feeling a lot more relaxed around the Selkie. He didn’t know what was going on but he felt safer around this Majik than around the others. It was a nice change.
Can we put this rp on pause?//
