"Than why, if I may ask, are you working at a company that helps to get Majiks jobs?" Kyo asked, his head tilted to the side. He hoped that he didn't cross a line asking about that.

A small, cunning smile pulled at his lips. "My father would hate to see the Lynch business go to someone who isn't his heir." He replied simply. Victor didn't try to hide the fact that he was ticked. In fact, he tapped his fingers impatiently on his desk as he spoke.

"Ah, okay. I can understand that." Kyo said quietly, standing up and pulling his jacket tighter around his body. He could still feel the empty feeling in his chest that came with the absence of his skin, even with the large jacket.

“It is rather…. annoying to say the least. I don’t know how my father continues to tolerate you Majiks after what you Majiks have done. But, nevertheless, I still find you, Kyo, quite charming.” He replied simply. “I have never met one of your kind. I am interested to see how this will play out.”

The tips of Kyo's ears turned pink, thankfully his hair hid his ears. He had never been called charming before, it was nice, he thinks. "Could you tell me what Majiks have done? There aren't a lot of people where I used to live." He asked.

“Majiks won’t hesitate to jump at your throat. That is what they’ve done.” He casually loosened his tie and unbuttoned the first few buttons on his dress shirt. His collarbone was scarred beyond recognition and small chunks of flesh were missing, filled in by tight skin and scarred tissue. He didn’t mind showing this to people. The more who saw, the more who knew how dangerous Majik’s could be.

“I wouldn’t be working here if I had the choice, Selkie.” He muttered, promptly fixing his attire. “I do not allow any nagual clients. Especially those who take on a panther alter-form.”

"Dear lords, are you okay?" Kyo frantically asked, his eyes wide. He never knew that Majiks could be that dangerous, he was literally the only Majik where he was from. His parents told him it was because others were afraid of the Selkie family's magic, before they passed.

Victor raised an eyebrow. This Majik in front of him was growing increasingly interesting. “You actually care to ask?” He mumbled, only slightly confused.

“It doesn’t hurt if that is what you’re asking. But the mental trauma is something I cannot shake from my mind.” He replied softly, not waiting for an answer to his his previous question.

Kyo frowned. "Whoever did that to a poor human needs to have their magic token away." He grumbled before finishing. "And of course I asked, who wouldn't?"

@Toxic_Persephone group

“Or be eradicated.” He mumbled softly. He hated the Majik that did this to him. And yet that Majik had only been locked up and would soon walk free again. After all, the world considered Majiks ‘human’ too.

Victor didn’t.

“No Majik has ever asked before, Kyo.” He stated simply. This Selkie was… different so to say. Not as professional around him. In fact, Kyo was very open about things. Victor was starting to like the smaller male.

"No, not eradicated. That would be inhumane." Kyo muttered, pausing for a moment. "However, their magic should be stripped away and left as simply human, while also being in prison for life." He continued, frowning at Victor's last statement. "Well, I'll be the first then."

@Toxic_Persephone group

“Prison for life is something I can agree on.” He huffed, taking a sip of his coffee. “Stripped of power would also be ideal. Is that something that is possible?” He asked ever so softly, eyes narrowed. He preferred to eradicate them, but if it was so inhumane then even he would agree to a strip of power and life in prison.

Victor moved to the door, placing his hand on the handle. He didn’t open the door, however, instead watching the Selkie. “The first?” He nodded softly. “You are the first.” A moment or two of silence followed. “If you ever need anything, Selkie you can visit my office or ask during our meetings.

"Of course it's possible. Some Selkies and Wild Court Faes can." Kyo said with a shrug, standing up. "Sure thing Mr. Victor, it was nice to meet you, but I need to go scold my friend." He nodded, giving a small two fingered salute.

@Toxic_Persephone group

Victor only nodded softly. It would take a Majik to do so, but it wouldn’t be so hard. When Kyo stood, the human opened the door. “It was a pleasure to meet you.” He replied, eyes less cold than before. “I shall see you later tonight, correct?”

Could you start? I don't know how to describe an apartment.//

@Toxic_Persephone group

Victor was silent even after Kyo had appeared to move in. The human had a bad day. His father had lecture him on ‘truly caring for the company,’ his assistant had messed up on a huge project, and he himself was left with helping the Selkie even though he had mountains of work to finish.

He unlocked the door to an apartment who’s frame read ‘Room 307.’ It was placed on the third floor of the buildings just behind the company’s main block.

Inside was just as lavish as expected of a Lynch corporation building. The couches were modern and soft, resting around a stunning glass coffee table. Against the wall hung a flat screen tv, a faux fireplace underneath. Connected to the living room was a kitchen area complete with a stove, an island, and a microwave. It’s counters were a beautiful marble.

The bedroom was located behind a door to the left of the main room, and the bathroom next to that. Both were just as lavish.

Victor stepped inside before handing the keys to Kyo. “There it is.”
