'Okay'. Arlen replied as he got in line for snacks. He got popcorn for them to share, along with a drink for himself. He waited for Vaughn to arrive after that, humming under his breath.

Vaughn headed into the theater and looked around before he spotted Arlen. He headed over to the male with a lazy smile on his lips. “Hey, thanks for getting the stuff already. I can pay you back.”

Arlen smiled, and handed him the popcorn. "You're welcome. Nah. But you're going to share the popcorn." He replied with a smile. He took a sip of his soda, and held out Vaughn's ticket.

Vaughn chuckled softly and nodded his head. “Deal.” He took the ticket from Arlen, making a specific point to brush his fingers against the other male’s. Of course, he didn’t say anything about it. The figure watched and tilted it’s head.

Arlen smiled a little. He led Vaughn to the line to get in. "Oh. If you need to use the bathroom, you should do it now." He added. "I mean, obviously you can leave and use it once we get in, but it's easier to do it now." He shrugged.

Vaughn chuckled softly and nodded his head a bit. “I’m ok right now, but thanks, that’s noted,” he said with a smile on his lips. “Let’s go on ahead in?” He tilted his head towards the room they were to be in.

Arlen nodded. "Yeah, sure." He got in line to get in, his soda in one hand and his ticket in the other. He handed his ticket to the ticket-taker, who tore off part of the ticket, doing the same to Vaughn's. "Enjoy the movie, it'll be in theater four, which is down the hall and on your left." The guy said. Arlen nodded. "Alright, thanks."

Vaughn nodded his head when he listened to the man. He led Arlen down the hall to the darkened theater. The room wasn’t crowded, and they took their seats with not many people around. “What movie did you end up picking?” he asked in a soft tone.

"Some movie about a dog that I've heard is really good." Arlen replied with a smile, sitting down beside Vaughn. "You said nothing with any violence, and I don't think that this will have any." he put his drink in the cupholder, looking over at Vaughn.

Vaughn smiled in a pleased manner at Arlen. “I love dogs. How considerate of you,” he said. He had a dog growing up, a chocolate lab named Rosie. The name had been picked out by his sister. He bit his tongue and subconsciously rubbed at his arm for a very quick moment, covered by the sleeve of his sweatshirt he wore.

Arlen smiled a little. "Oh, well. Lucky coincidence, then." he replied with a grin. "You alright?" he asked, noticing the gesture. It had been a while since he had been on a first date, and he wasn't quite sure exactly how to act.
